one_o for_o another_o in_o this_o life_n some_o man_n perchance_o will_v here_o demand_v forsooth_o we_o be_v will_v so_o to_o do_v by_o the_o express_a commandment_n both_o of_o christ_n and_o his_o disciple_n to_o declare_v therein_o aswell_o the_o faith_n that_o we_o have_v in_o christ_n towards_o god_n as_o also_o the_o mutual_a charity_n that_o we_o bear_v one_o towards_o another_o in_o that_o we_o pity_v our_o brother_n case_n and_o make_v our_o humble_a petition_n to_o god_n for_o he_o but_o that_o we_o shall_v pray_v unto_o saintes_n neither_o have_v we_o any_o commandment_n in_o all_o the_o scripture_n nor_o yet_o example_n which_o we_o may_v safe_o follow_v so_o that_o be_v do_v without_o authority_n of_o god_n word_n it_o lack_v the_o ground_n of_o faith_n and_o therefore_o can_v not_o be_v acceptable_a before_o god_n for_o whatsoever_o be_v not_o of_o faith_n be_v sin_n and_o the_o apostle_n say_v 10._o that_o faith_n come_v by_o hear_v and_o hear_v by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n yet_o thou_o will_v object_v further_o that_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n do_v pray_v for_o we_o and_o that_o their_o prayer_n proceed_v of_o a_o earnest_a charity_n that_o they_o have_v towards_o their_o brethren_n on_o earth_n where_o to_o it_o may_v be_v well_o answer_v first_o that_o no_o man_n know_v whether_o they_o do_v pray_v for_o we_o or_o no._n and_o if_o any_o will_v go_v about_o to_o prove_v it_o by_o the_o nature_n of_o charity_n conclude_v that_o because_o they_o do_v pray_v for_o man_n on_o earth_n therefore_o they_o do_v much_o more_o the_o same_o now_o in_o heaven_n then_o may_v it_o be_v say_v by_o the_o same_o reason_n that_o as_o oft_o as_o we_o do_v weep_v on_o earth_n they_o do_v also_o weep_v in_o heaven_n because_o while_o they_o live_v in_o this_o world_n it_o be_v most_o certain_a and_o sure_a they_o do_v so_o and_o for_o that_o place_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o apocalips_n namely_o that_o the_o angel_n do_v offer_v up_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o saint_n upon_o the_o golden_a altar_n it_o be_v proper_o mean_v and_o ought_v proper_o to_o be_v understand_v of_o those_o saint_n that_o be_v yet_o live_v on_o earth_n and_o not_o of_o they_o that_o be_v dead_a otherwise_o what_o need_n be_v it_o that_o the_o angel_n shall_v offer_v up_o their_o prayer_n be_v now_o in_o heaven_n before_o the_o face_n of_o aimightie_a god_n but_o admit_v the_o saint_n do_v pray_v for_o we_o yet_o do_v we_o not_o know_v how_o whether_o special_o for_o they_o which_o call_v upon_o they_o or_o else_o general_o for_o all_o man_n wish_v well_o to_o every_o man_n a_o like_a if_o they_o pray_v special_o for_o they_o which_o call_v upon_o they_o than_o it_o be_v like_a they_o hear_v our_o prayer_n and_o also_o know_v our_o heart_n desire_v which_o thing_n to_o be_v false_a it_o be_v already_o prove_v both_o by_o the_o scripture_n and_o also_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o augustine_n let_v we_o not_o therefore_o put_v our_o trust_n or_o confidence_n in_o the_o saint_n or_o martyr_n that_o be_v dead_a let_v we_o not_o call_v upon_o they_o nor_o desire_v help_n at_o their_o hand_n but_o let_v we_o always_o lift_v up_o our_o heart_n to_o god_o in_o the_o name_n of_o his_o dear_a son_n christ_n for_o who_o sake_n as_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o hear_v our_o prayer_n so_o he_o will_v true_o perform_v it_o invocation_n be_v a_o thing_n proper_a unto_o god_n which_o if_o we_o attribute_v unto_o the_o saint_n it_o sound_v to_o their_o reproach_n neither_o can_v they_o well_o bear_v it_o at_o our_o hand_n when_o paul_n have_v 14._o heal_v a_o certain_a lame_a man_n which_o be_v impotent_a in_o his_o foot_n at_o listra_n the_o people_n will_v have_v do_v sacrifice_n to_o he_o and_o barnabas_n who_o own_o strength_n keep_v themselves_o from_o commit_v horrible_a sin_n but_o do_v so_o greevousâ—y_o fall_v that_o without_o god_n great_a mercy_n they_o have_v perish_v everlasting_o how_o much_o more_o ought_v we_o then_o miserable_a wretch_n which_o have_v no_o feel_n of_o god_n within_o we_o at_o all_o continual_o to_o fear_v not_o only_o that_o we_o may_v fall_v as_o they_o do_v but_o show_v himself_o both_o what_o it_o be_v and_o where_o we_o may_v find_v it_o and_o how_o we_o may_v use_v and_o apply_v it_o for_o when_o 11._o both_o he_o and_o his_o disciple_n be_v grievous_o accuse_v of_o the_o pharisee_n to_o have_v defile_v their_o soul_n in_o break_v the_o constitution_n of_o the_o elder_n because_o they_o go_v to_o meat_n and_o wash_v not_o their_o hand_n before_o christ._n there_o any_o guile_n find_v in_o his_o mouth_n yea_o when_o he_o be_v revile_v with_o taunt_n he_o revile_v not_o again_o when_o he_o be_v wrongful_o deal_v with_o he_o threaten_v not_o friend_n as_o foe_n like_o obedient_a child_n after_o the_o example_n of_o our_o good_a father_n in_o heaven_n for_o if_o christ_n be_v obedient_a to_o his_o father_n even_o to_o the_o death_n and_o that_o the_o most_o shameful_a death_n as_o the_o jew_n esteem_v it_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n why_o shall_v we_o not_o be_v obedient_a to_o god_n in_o low_a point_n of_o charity_n and_o patience_n let_v we_o forgive_v then_o our_o neighbour_n their_o small_a fault_n as_o god_n for_o christ_n sake_n have_v 28._o forgive_v we_o our_o great_a it_o be_v not_o meet_v that_o we_o shall_v crave_v forgiveness_n of_o our_o great_a offence_n at_o god_n hand_n and_o yet_o will_v not_o forgive_v the_o small_a trespass_n of_o our_o neighbour_n against_o we_o we_o do_v 28._o call_v for_o mercy_n in_o vain_a if_o we_o will_v not_o show_v mercy_n to_o our_o neighbour_n for_o if_o we_o will_v not_o put_v wrath_n and_o displeasure_n forth_o of_o our_o heart_n to_o our_o christian_n lowliness_n in_o prosperity_n and_o such_o other_o like_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o hope_v love_n joy_n peace_n long_o suffer_v gentleness_n goodness_n meekness_n 6._o and_o temperancy_n which_o thing_n god_n require_v of_o all_o they_o that_o profess_v themselves_o to_o be_v his_o child_n say_v unto_o they_o in_o this_o wise_n let_v your_o light_n so_o shine_v before_o man_n that_o
