to_o sensual_a pleasure_n all_o their_o good_a beginning_n have_v come_v to_o nothing_o these_o when_o they_o have_v be_v in_o company_n and_o come_v away_o they_o have_v have_v many_o sad_a thought_n and_o next_o day_n or_o in_o the_o night_n many_o sad_a sigh_n and_o groan_n have_v come_v from_o their_o spirit_n because_o their_o spirit_n be_v enlighten_v and_o make_v they_o fear_v all_o will_v not_o be_v well_o in_o the_o end_n and_o yet_o these_o continue_v still_o in_o give_v themselves_o pleasure_n and_o delight_n to_o the_o flesh_n inordinate_o if_o company_n call_v they_o can_v refuse_v when_o they_o be_v stir_v in_o their_o conscience_n they_o will_v take_v a_o book_n and_o read_v or_o pray_v yet_o they_o be_v present_o weary_a and_o can_v bear_v such_o a_o kind_n of_o life_n they_o think_v they_o shall_v grow_v melancholy_a and_o they_o must_v again_o go_v to_o their_o former_a way_n many_o have_v the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o their_o conscience_n struggle_v together_o and_o many_o time_n the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o conscience_n struggle_v a_o great_a while_n before_o there_o be_v a_o victory_n on_o either_o side_n sometime_o conscience_n get_v the_o victory_n and_o there_o be_v a_o gracious_a work_n upon_o the_o soul_n especial_o if_o god_n set_v on_o conscience_n by_o some_o great_a affliction_n or_o sickness_n object_n of_o it_o but_o truth_n in_o general_a take_v truth_n in_o the_o utmost_a latitude_n of_o it_o in_o the_o universality_n of_o it_o that_o be_v the_o object_n of_o man_n understanding_n and_o therefore_o the_o understanding_n be_v infinite_a because_o it_o be_v not_o satisfy_v in_o this_o or_o that_o particular_a but_o truth_n in_o the_o utmost_a extent_n and_o for_o the_o object_n of_o the_o will_n it_o be_v good_a in_o the_o general_n it_o be_v not_o this_o or_o that_o particular_a good_a but_o good_a in_o the_o universality_n of_o its_o nature_n and_o therefore_o till_o it_o come_v to_o enjoy_v god_n that_o do_v eminent_o contain_v all_o good_a in_o he_o it_o can_v never_o come_v to_o have_v full_a satisfaction_n and_o here_o observe_v the_o difference_n between_o the_o capacity_n of_o man_n nature_n and_o the_o capacity_n of_o other_o creature_n as_o for_o other_o creature_n their_o faculty_n can_v extend_v no_o further_o than_o some_o particular_a good_a and_o they_o be_v limit_v within_o the_o narrow_a bound_n of_o their_o own_o nature_n and_o therefore_o if_o so_o be_v the_o eye_n have_v colour_n it_o go_v no_o further_o and_o if_o the_o ear_n have_v sound_a it_o go_v no_o further_o and_o so_o taste_v it_o go_v no_o further_a than_o some_o particular_a good_a but_o the_o intelligent_a soul_n the_o rational_a soul_n go_v beyond_o all_o particular_n come_v perfect_o to_o know_v god_n so_o far_o as_o their_o create_a understanding_n shall_v be_v capable_a of_o than_o they_o must_v needs_o see_v the_o excellency_n of_o the_o creature_n in_o god_n we_o shall_v know_v as_o we_o be_v know_v 1_o cor._n 13._o 12._o upon_o this_o a_o learned_a man_n have_v this_o note_n we_o shall_v know_v as_o we_o be_v know_v now_o god_n know_v all_o his_o work_n by_o know_v himself_o by_o know_v his_o own_o power_n and_o will_v and_o nature_n and_o so_o we_o shall_v know_v as_o we_o be_v know_v because_o we_o shall_v know_v the_o creature_n by_o know_v god_n four_o here_o the_o mercy_n and_o good_a that_o we_o have_v from_o god_n be_v sweeten_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o sense_n of_o our_o want_n but_o hereafter_o we_o shall_v prize_v they_o and_o have_v the_o sweetness_n of_o they_o in_o regard_n of_o their_o own_o fullness_n not_o from_o such_o a_o low_a relation_n as_o our_o want_n and_o our_o necessity_n when_o god_n will_v have_v we_o prize_v any_o mercy_n here_o he_o first_o make_v we_o sensible_a of_o the_o want_n of_o the_o mercy_n and_o so_o it_o come_v to_o be_v sweet_a to_o we_o and_o scarce_o any_o mercy_n come_v to_o be_v sweet_a unless_o we_o feel_v the_o want_n of_o it_o first_o for_o else_o we_o will_v prize_v the_o mercy_n at_o any_o time_n but_o in_o that_o we_o do_v not_o prize_v all_o mercy_n always_o alike_o it_o appear_v the_o great_a commendation_n of_o god_n mercy_n be_v from_o our_o want_n but_o hereafter_o the_o prizing_n and_o the_o relish_n and_o the_o sweet_a of_o all_o shall_v be_v from_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o goodness_n that_o we_o find_v in_o god_n god_n goodness_n to_o we_o here_o be_v but_o the_o supply_n of_o some_o defect_n but_o hereafter_o god_n goodness_n shall_v be_v the_o glorify_v of_o perfect_a nature_n five_o here_o when_o we_o do_v enjoy_v any_o comfort_n from_o god_n we_o be_v much_o sensible_a of_o it_o at_o the_o present_a enjoyment_n 5._o but_o after_o we_o have_v have_v it_o a_o little_a while_n we_o grow_v to_o be_v less_o sensible_a we_o begin_v to_o be_v cloy_v with_o it_o as_o the_o most_o beautiful_a sight_n that_o we_o do_v admire_v at_o first_o if_o we_o see_v it_o every_o day_n it_o do_v not_o affect_v we_o as_o who_o be_v affect_v at_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o sun_n because_o he_o see_v it_o every_o day_n but_o suppose_v we_o have_v live_v all_o our_o day_n in_o a_o dark_a dungeon_n and_o this_o have_v be_v the_o first_o day_n we_o be_v bring_v out_o of_o the_o dungeon_n and_o now_o see_v the_o sun_n and_o the_o earth_n and_o sea_n how_o mighty_o will_v we_o be_v take_v with_o the_o sight_n that_o we_o see_v but_o now_o it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o we_o because_o we_o have_v the_o sun_n every_o day_n
and_o so_o the_o melodious_a sound_n to_o the_o ear_n first_o we_o be_v ravish_v with_o it_o but_o when_o we_o be_v use_v to_o it_o it_o be_v nothing_o and_o so_o for_o the_o taste_n the_o taste_n of_o sweet_a thing_n be_v mighty_o pleasant_a to_o we_o at_o first_o but_o afterward_o it_o be_v no_o more_o please_v to_o we_o than_o the_o taste_n of_o ordinary_a mean_a fare_n be_v to_o poor_a there_o shall_v be_v no_o habit_n lie_v still_o no_o instant_n but_o every_o minute_n to_o all_o eternity_n they_o shall_v act_v to_o the_o utmost_a of_o they_o so_o far_o as_o may_v any_o way_n and_o to_o keep_v our_o heart_n up_o but_o hereafter_o there_o shall_v be_v that_o communication_n of_o god_n unto_o his_o people_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v exercise_v about_o the_o high_a thing_n in_o the_o high_a manner_n without_o any_o difficulty_n but_o as_o free_o and_o ready_o and_o full_o as_o the_o sun_n shine_v the_o sun_n do_v shine_v without_o any_o difficulty_n and_o the_o fish_n in_o this_o world_n there_o can_v be_v a_o intention_n in_o one_o faculty_n but_o it_o do_v hinder_v the_o intention_n 8._o in_o another_o as_o if_o man_n speak_v to_o i_o and_o i_o be_v intent_n in_o look_v upon_o a_o object_n i_o do_v not_o hear_v he_o that_o speak_v and_o so_o in_o all_o faculty_n the_o intention_n of_o one_o faculty_n do_v hinder_v the_o intention_n of_o another_o but_o in_o heaven_n all_o the_o faculty_n of_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v intensed_a to_o the_o high_a intention_n and_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o one_o shall_v not_o hinder_v the_o intention_n of_o the_o other_o again_o the_o good_a we_o receive_v here_o be_v in_o the_o root_n in_o 9_o the_o promise_n in_o election_n in_o great_a part_n but_o that_o we_o shall_v have_v hereafter_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o fruit_n in_o the_o actual_a communication_n of_o god_n as_o before_o all_o our_o act_n shall_v be_v act_v upon_o god_n so_o all_o the_o good_a shall_v not_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o root_n of_o his_o elect_a love_n or_o in_o the_o promise_n but_o shall_v be_v in_o actual_a communication_n again_o here_o we_o receive_v many_o mercy_n from_o god_n 10._o that_o we_o do_v not_o understand_v ourselves_o that_o we_o know_v but_o little_a of_o we_o do_v not_o see_v into_o the_o large_a extent_n of_o the_o mercy_n that_o we_o have_v from_o god_n but_o there_o we_o shall_v have_v no_o mercy_n from_o god_n but_o we_o shall_v know_v it_o full_o in_o all_o the_o circumstance_n of_o it_o in_o all_o the_o principle_n of_o it_o and_o in_o all_o the_o appertainance_n that_o do_v any_o way_n concern_v the_o mercy_n we_o have_v and_o we_o shall_v know_v the_o issue_n of_o it_o and_o the_o like_a again_o here_o we_o receive_v great_a mercy_n from_o god_n and_o we_o know_v not_o how_o to_o
