take_v up_o his_o seat_n his_o abiding-place_n in_o mercy_n and_o forgiveness_n and_o from_o thence_o he_o do_v intend_v to_o hear_v the_o sinner_n and_o to_o commune_v with_o he_o as_o he_o say_v exod._n 25._o 22._o speak_v before_o of_o the_o mercy-seat_n and_o there_o will_v i_o meet_v with_o thou_o mark_v it_o be_v upon_o the_o mercy-seat_n there_o will_v i_o meet_v with_o thou_o and_o there_o will_v i_o commune_v with_o thou_o from_o above_o the_o mercy-seat_n poor_a soul_n they_o be_v very_o apt_a to_o entertain_v strange_a thought_n of_o god_n and_o his_o carriage_n towards_o they_o and_o sudden_o to_o conclude_v that_o god_n will_v have_v no_o regard_n unto_o they_o when_o yet_o he_o be_v upon_o the_o mercy-seat_n and_o have_v take_v up_o his_o place_n on_o purpose_n there_o to_o the_o end_n he_o may_v hear_v and_o regard_v the_o prayer_n of_o poor_a creature_n if_o he_o have_v say_v i_o will_v commune_v with_o thou_o from_o my_o throne_n of_o judgement_n then_o indeed_o you_o may_v have_v tremble_v and_o flee_v from_o the_o face_n of_o the_o great_a and_o glorious_a majesty_n but_o when_o he_o say_v he_o will_v hear_v and_o commune_v with_o soul_n upon_o knowledge_n or_o spiritual_a understanding_n they_o know_v not_o that_o they_o be_v poor_a wretched_a blind_a and_o naked_a the_o cause_n whereof_o make_v they_o and_o all_o their_o service_n so_o this_o can_v guess_v at_o the_o very_a thought_n of_o god_n towards_o he_o psal._n 40._o 5._o and_o thus_o it_o be_v with_o the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n mat._n 15._o 22_o 23_o 24_o 25_o 26_o 27_o 28._o she_o do_v by_o faith_n and_o a_o right_a understanding_n discern_v beyond_o all_o the_o rough_a carriage_n of_o christ_n tenderness_n and_o willingness_n in_o his_o heart_n to_o save_v which_o cause_v she_o to_o be_v vehement_a and_o earnest_a yea_o restless_a until_o she_o do_v enjoy_v the_o mercy_n she_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o a_o understanding_n of_o the_o willingness_n that_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n to_o save_v sinner_n there_o be_v nothing_o will_v press_v the_o soul_n more_o to_o seek_v after_o god_n and_o to_o cry_v for_o pardon_n than_o it_o if_o a_o man_n
