14._o 23._o in_o the_o midst_n of_o laughter_n the_o heart_n be_v sorrowful_a in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n boast_v there_o be_v a_o fear_n of_o hell_n 5._o though_o you_o have_v see_v some_o man_n that_o have_v die_v with_o stupidity_n of_o heart_n depart_v quiet_o yet_o there_o be_v other_o wicked_a man_n who_o conscience_n be_v awaken_v that_o die_v full_a of_o horror_n and_o terror_n and_o amazement_n when_o their_o conscience_n tell_v they_o they_o have_v die_v swearer_n or_o liar_n or_o drunkard_n or_o adulterer_n etc._n etc._n they_o be_v fill_v with_o horror_n and_o terror_n of_o conscience_n that_o though_o he_o think_v all_o his_o life_n time_n he_o shall_v go_v to_o heaven_n yet_o he_o now_o fear_v he_o be_v go_v down_o into_o hell_n and_o thus_o i_o have_v do_v with_o the_o three_o question_n in_o show_v you_o the_o reason_n why_o see_v the_o scripture_n say_v that_o a_o wicked_a man_n have_v no_o hope_n that_o of_o all_o the_o man_n in_o the_o world_n wicked_a man_n do_v nourish_v great_a hope_n for_o heaven_n in_o their_o heart_n there_o be_v only_o two_o query_n more_o to_o handle_v and_o then_o come_v to_o the_o five_o branch_n of_o man_n misery_n quest_n 4_o 4._o the_o four_o query_n in_o order_n be_v this_o that_o see_v the_o scripture_n say_v a_o wicked_a man_n have_v no_o hope_n and_o esteem_v of_o their_o false_a and_o presumptuous_a hope_n to_o be_v as_o good_a as_o no_o hope_n then_o how_o shall_v we_o know_v the_o difference_n between_o those_o well_o ground_a hope_n a_o godly_a man_n have_v and_o those_o presumptuous_a and_o delude_a hope_n wicked_a man_n have_v answ_n ans_fw-fr i_o shall_v here_o give_v you_o six_o apparent_a difference_n between_o they_o 1._o the_o hope_n of_o a_o godly_a and_o regenerate_a man_n for_o heaven_n it_o be_v get_v by_o and_o ground_v upon_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v call_v the_o hope_n of_o the_o gospel_n because_o 23._o it_o be_v get_v by_o the_o gospel_n as_o the_o mean_n and_o ground_v upon_o the_o gospel_n as_o the_o end_n that_o we_o say_v the_o apostle_n through_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o scripture_n may_v have_v 4_o hope_n a_o godly_a man_n have_v his_o comfort_n from_o the_o scripture_n psal_n 119._o 49._o good_a be_v the_o 49._o word_n of_o the_o lord_n wherein_o thou_o have_v cause_v thy_o servant_n to_o hope_v but_o now_o the_o hope_n of_o wicked_a man_n as_o they_o be_v get_v they_o know_v not_o how_o so_o neither_o do_v they_o know_v upon_o what_o they_o be_v ground_v and_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o they_o be_v call_v presumptuous_a hope_n for_o this_o be_v presumption_n when_o a_o man_n do_v believe_v a_o thing_n when_o he_o can_v have_v no_o visible_a nor_o likely_a mean_n to_o ground_n or_o bottom_n his_o hope_n upon_o 2._o true_a and_o patient_a hope_n be_v bottom_v upon_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o the_o merit_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o christ_n be_v call_v our_o hope_n because_o he_o be_v the_o 1._o foundation_n on_o
