deliverance_n that_o he_o work_v for_o his_o people_n and_o now_o god_n he_o may_v wonder_v at_o the_o weakness_n of_o our_o faith_n if_o after_o all_o these_o wonder_n we_o shall_v distrust_v he_o see_v what_o the_o psalmist_n say_v in_o psalm_n 96._o 10._o be_v still_o and_o know_v that_o i_o be_o god_n why_o in_o all_o your_o affliction_n in_o all_o your_o temptation_n in_o all_o your_o cross_n in_o all_o sad_a condition_n god_n will_v have_v you_o to_o be_v still_o and_o know_v that_o he_o be_v god_n and_o when_o ever_o we_o have_v receive_v any_o special_a mercy_n from_o god_n we_o shall_v urge_v this_o upon_o our_o owâ—_n soul_n if_o at_o any_o time_n we_o be_v ready_a to_o distrust_n god_n and_o repine_v at_o any_o of_o the_o deal_n of_o god_n oh_o my_o soul_n be_v still_o and_o know_v that_o god_n be_v jehovah_n remember_v the_o year_n of_o his_o right_a hand_n remember_v what_o he_o do_v for_o such_o and_o such_o of_o his_o servant_n and_o for_o thou_o in_o such_o a_o condition_n how_o he_o make_v his_o power_n and_o mercy_n and_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n to_o pass_v before_o thou_o and_o will_v thou_o again_o murmur_v and_o repine_v and_o distrust_v he_o oh_o my_o soul_n be_v still_o and_o know_v that_o he_o be_v god_n know_v that_o he_o be_v jehovah_n and_o that_o he_o give_v existence_n to_o his_o promise_n know_v that_o he_o be_v as_o good_a as_o his_o word_n know_v that_o he_o be_v better_a than_o his_o word_n when_o ever_o any_o rebellious_a lust_n do_v rise_v up_o in_o thy_o heart_n after_o we_o have_v receive_v mercy_n which_o be_v a_o great_a engagement_n yet_o still_o beat_v it_o back_o with_o this_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v jehovah_n the_o lord_n have_v a_o mighty_a arm_n and_o as_o he_o have_v do_v so_o he_o will_v do_v and_o he_o will_v not_o leave_v his_o people_n the_o power_n and_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n it_o shall_v sound_v in_o our_o ear_n when_o ever_o we_o be_v in_o any_o strait_n this_o be_v a_o deliverance_n and_o many_o special_a providence_n they_o sound_v loud_v as_o the_o echo_n of_o a_o man_n do_v the_o lord_n speak_v once_o we_o shall_v hear_v twice_o that_o power_n belong_v to_o god_n well_o remember_v that_o the_o lord_n expect_v that_o thou_o shall_v hear_v it_o often_o and_o when_o ever_o thou_o be_v bring_v into_o a_o low_a condition_n remember_v this_o what_o thou_o hear_v in_o thy_o former_a low_a condition_n that_o power_n belong_v to_o god_n and_o mercy_n belong_v to_o god_n and_o thus_o shall_v we_o trust_v the_o lord_n in_o strait_n former_a mercy_n be_v engagement_n for_o the_o future_a and_o this_o be_v part_n of_o the_o glory_n the_o lord_n expect_v this_o be_v part_n of_o the_o income_a that_o he_o desire_v for_o mercy_n for_o deliverance_n poor_a creature_n that_o have_v see_v much_o in_o it_o they_o shall_v never_o forget_v the_o love_a kindness_n of_o god_n when_o they_o be_v in_o strait_n in_o great_a strait_n still_o to_o make_v use_n of_o former_a experience_n and_o to_o remember_v the_o year_n of_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o the_o most_o high_a thus_o you_o hear_v what_o improvement_n there_o shall_v be_v of_o our_o affliction_n the_o encouragement_n to_o wait_v upon_o god_n for_o the_o future_a but_o if_o so_o be_v god_n and_o the_o mercy_n be_v keep_v together_o than_o mercy_n become_v useful_a and_o a_o help_n to_o the_o soul_n to_o trust_v in_o god_n for_o the_o future_a six_o mercy_n be_v help_n for_o the_o future_a when_o as_o the_o soul_n be_v enable_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n to_o urge_v god_n with_o former_a mercy_n and_o to_o lay_v they_o before_o the_o lord_n as_o engagement_n to_o help_v for_o the_o future_a there_o be_v such_o a_o improvement_n to_o be_v make_v of_o former_a mercy_n when_o god_n do_v he_o that_o take_v i_o out_o of_o the_o womb_n thou_o do_v make_v i_o hope_v when_o i_o be_v upon_o my_o mother_n breast_n i_o be_v cast_v upon_o thou_o from_o the_o womb_n thou_o be_v my_o god_n from_o my_o mother_n belly_n thou_o be_v he_o that_o take_v care_n of_o i_o when_o i_o can_v not_o take_v care_n of_o myself_o and_o when_o the_o care_n of_o creature_n can_v do_v i_o no_o good_a without_o the_o care_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o see_v thou_o have_v do_v this_o for_o i_o i_o be_o still_o encourage_v to_o wait_v upon_o thou_o to_o trust_v in_o thou_o for_o future_a mercy_n thus_o upon_o they_o all_o as_o stay_v that_o god_n have_v give_v staff_n to_o hold_v in_o your_o hand_n for_o the_o present_a all_o mercy_n all_o deliverance_n all_o sight_n of_o â—od_a all_o manifestation_n of_o his_o love_n all_o experience_n of_o his_o goodness_n i_o say_v look_v upon_o they_o as_o stay_v and_o crutch_n that_o god_n have_v give_v into_o your_o hand_n for_o the_o present_a to_o lean_v upon_o while_o you_o be_v in_o this_o your_o pilgrimage_n do_v not_o build_v upon_o they_o you_o can_v build_v upon_o the_o best_a of_o your_o experience_n do_v not_o lay_v they_o as_o the_o foundation_n but_o only_o look_v upon_o they_o as_o help_n in_o your_o way_n and_o so_o use_v they_o as_o help_v for_o the_o present_a that_o god_n give_v you_o that_o you_o may_v experience_n two_o thing_n premise_v and_o a_o caution_n how_o to_o rest_v upon_o former_a experience_n more_o cheerful_o go_v on_o to_o his_o self_n and_o to_o his_o son_n to_o the_o rest_n in_o he_o where_o there_o be_v everlasting_a peace_n and_o therefore_o here_o will_v i_o premise_v two_o thing_n and_o give_v you_o a_o caution_n how_o to_o rest_v upon_o former_a experience_n and_o so_o i_o shall_v end_v the_o point_n 1._o know_v this_o that_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o the_o soul_n may_v loose_v the_o sight_n of_o all_o his_o experience_n they_o may_v be_v all_o out_o of_o sight_n it_o be_v possible_a that_o a_o man_n may_v call_v they_o all_o in_o question_n the_o soul_n may_v be_v bring_v into_o such_o a_o sad_a condition_n into_o such_o a_o dark_a condition_n that_o it_o may_v here_o take_v these_o two_o caution_n when_o as_o you_o be_v thus_o to_o follow_v experience_n and_o to_o make_v use_n of_o experience_n first_o of_o all_o take_v heed_n that_o you_o do_v not_o make_v your_o own_o experience_n the_o first_o ground_n of_o your_o trust_n make_v not_o i_o say_v any_o experience_n that_o you_o have_v have_v the_o first_o ground_n of_o your_o trust_n or_o confidence_n i_o say_v before_o experience_n be_v good_a help_n good_a crutch_n but_o they_o will_v make_v no_o foundation_n for_o the_o soul_n to_o build_v upon_o they_o be_v not_o the_o first_o foundation_n lose_v all_o the_o sweetness_n of_o they_o for_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n that_o god_n do_v intend_v in_o every_o mercy_n first_o of_o all_o there_o be_v present_a comfort_n and_o refreshment_n that_o he_o present_o give_v out_o and_o then_o there_o be_v something_o in_o the_o mercy_n to_o be_v lay_v up_o for_o the_o future_a there_o be_v something_o in_o every_o mercy_n that_o god_n will_v have_v his_o people_n lie_v up_o something_o that_o will_v stand_v they_o in_o stead_n another_o day_n now_o when_o a_o man_n do_v not_o remember_v the_o mercy_n that_o the_o lord_n dispense_v to_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o every_o present_a mercy_n this_o put_v life_n into_o the_o mercy_n when_o the_o soul_n receive_v mercy_n and_o do_v not_o eye_n love_n in_o it_o that_o mercy_n it_o prove_v a_o dead_a mercy_n or_o if_o there_o be_v any_o sense_n it_o will_v not_o last_v long_o because_o there_o be_v not_o special_a love_n see_v in_o it_o now_o when_o the_o soul_n can_v eye_v the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o the_o mercy_n then_o be_v the_o heart_n affect_v with_o the_o mercy_n and_o then_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o mercy_n most_o like_a to_o be_v continue_v when_o a_o man_n can_v look_v at_o every_o mercy_n as_o the_o off_o spring_n of_o love_n he_o will_v be_v careful_a to_o nourish_v the_o sense_n the_o remembrance_n of_o that_o mercy_n one_o mercy_n that_o the_o soul_n can_v see_v love_n in_o be_v more_o dear_a more_o precious_a than_o many_o mercy_n see_v it_o in_o hezekiah_n he_o see_v special_a love_n of_o god_n to_o he_o in_o that_o mercy_n be_v 38._o way_n of_o mercy_n he_o go_v on_o in_o a_o way_n of_o mercy_n he_o go_v all_o aâ—â—ng_n in_o free_a grace_n say_v the_o psalmist_n all_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v mercy_n and_o truth_n unto_o his_o people_n when_o a_o soul_n be_v once_o convince_v this_o will_v help_v much_o to_o turn_v mercy_n into_o experience_n and_o therefore_o that_o doctrine_n which_o do_v teach_v fall_v away_o from_o grace_n that_o a_o man_n may_v be_v belove_v to_o day_n and_o cast_v off_o to_o morrow_n it_o be_v a_o most_o uncomfortable_a doctrine_n and_o it_o be_v impossible_a then_o that_o a_o man_n shall_v make_v any_o experience_n at_o all_o of_o the_o mercy_n that_o he_o have_v receive_v if_o god_n be_v changeable_a in_o his_o love_n if_o he_o cast_v off_o his_o people_n that_o he_o have_v god_n love_n to_o his_o people_n four_o again_o four_o a_o man_n may_v make_v use_n of_o present_a mercy_n to_o be_v helpful_a for_o the_o future_a if_o he_o be_v careful_a to_o keep_v faith_n in_o action_n if_o he_o be_v careful_a to_o keep_v faith_n upon_o the_o wing_n to_o act_v faith_n in_o every_o condition_n upon_o the_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n and_o the_o mighty_a righteousness_n of_o perish_v for_o want_v of_o provision_n and_o what_o though_o my_o father_n and_o brethren_n every_o man_n can_v see_v his_o way_n clear_a to_o take_v a_o pastoral_a charge_n of_o such_o a_o people_n where_o he_o know_v there_o be_v but_o little_a of_o christ_n yet_o if_o he_o do_v the_o work_n what_o though_o he_o do_v it_o not_o under_o that_o notion_n if_o he_o preach_v christ_n to_o they_o
