for_o in_o a_o liar_n the_o clean_a contrary_a part_n must_v be_v take_v for_o the_o truth_n if_o therefore_o it_o ever_o have_v be_v say_v unto_o thou_o in_o thy_o soul_n that_o thou_o shall_v not_o and_o no_o doubt_n but_o that_o cain_n sin_v more_o greevous_o in_o despair_v of_o god_n mercy_n then_o in_o the_o murder_n of_o his_o brother_n abel_n and_o judas_n sin_v not_o so_o much_o in_o betray_v as_o in_o distrust_v christ_n his_o treason_n be_v not_o so_o grievous_a as_o his_o despair_n â—â—s_o and_o the_o fore_n if_o according_a unto_o the_o counsel_n of_o the_o devil_n thou_o and_o have_v taste_v the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o have_v taste_v the_o good_a word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o power_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v if_o they_o fall_v away_o to_o be_v renew_v by_o repentance_n and_o by_o this_o mean_n and_o testimony_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n he_o exceed_o terrifi_v the_o conscience_n and_o will_v never_o suffer_v it_o to_o have_v peace_n until_o it_o shall_v please_v the_o lord_n to_o give_v thereunto_o the_o right_a use_n &_o sense_n of_o this_o place_n wherewith_o satan_n be_v repulse_v assault_v they_o afresh_o reason_v from_o the_o former_a mercy_n of_o god_n to_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n after_o this_o manner_n say_v thou_o have_v sin_v before_o in_o the_o like_a manner_n and_o in_o the_o same_o matter_n and_o that_o not_o once_o or_o twice_o but_o oftentimes_o and_o the_o lord_n pardon_v thou_o and_o now_o do_v thou_o think_v that_o he_o will_v pardon_v thou_o again_o why_o be_v thou_o not_o ashamed_a to_o come_v again_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o crave_v pardon_n for_o this_o sin_n with_o what_o face_n will_n he_o say_v can_v thou_o look_v upon_o the_o lord_n why_o i_o think_v that_o thou_o shall_v be_v ashamed_a to_o trouble_v the_o lord_n so_o often_o with_o thy_o prayer_n and_o request_n indeed_o will_n he_o say_v if_o it_o have_v be_v the_o first_o or_o second_o time_n than_o it_o have_v be_v more_o tolerable_a but_o now_o after_o the_o five_o or_o sixth_o time_n or_o more_o again_o to_o trouble_v the_o lord_n with_o thy_o request_n it_o be_v neither_o for_o thy_o honesty_n nor_o for_o the_o lord_n ease_n to_o be_v trouble_v so_o often_o about_o one_o matter_n and_o by_o this_o mean_v he_o make_v we_o sometime_o for_o shame_n to_o ruâ—_a from_o the_o lord_n and_o with_o adâ—m_n be_v ashamed_a to_o hide_v ourselves_o in_o the_o wood_n fâ—om_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o not_o to_o dare_v to_o crave_v pardon_n again_o for_o our_o sin_n until_o we_o have_v learn_v the_o nature_n of_o the_o lord_n mercy_n &_o with_o the_o prodigal_a son_n set_v all_o shaâ—e_n aside_o to_o return_v to_o our_o father_n and_o to_o confess_v that_o we_o have_v sin_v against_o heaven_n and_o against_o our_o god_n &_o that_o we_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v call_v ed_z hiâ—_n son_n and_o also_o that_o shame_n and_o confusion_n belong_v to_o we_o but_o mercy_n &_o forgiveness_n unto_o the_o lord_n if_o he_o see_v that_o this_o reason_n will_v not_o serve_v the_o turn_n he_o will_v turn_v over_o the_o leaf_n with_o we_o and_o come_v to_o the_o three_o reason_n which_o be_v take_v from_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n and_o from_o thence_o he_o will_v reason_v after_o this_o manner_n say_v thou_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v a_o just_a god_n a_o revenger_n of_o all_o disobedience_n offer_v unto_o his_o majesty_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o mercy_n think_v on_o justice_n and_o therefore_o he_o will_v not_o no_o nor_o can_v be_v appear_v until_o he_o have_v ease_v himself_o of_o hiâ—_n enemy_n and_o avenge_v himself_o of_o thy_o sin_n and_o the_o rather_o to_o persuade_v this_o he_o will_v tell_v we_o that_o it_o be_v a_o fearful_a thing_n to_o fall_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o live_a lord_n and_o that_o no_o adulterer_n fornicator_n covetous_a person_n murderer_n or_o such_o like_a shall_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n or_o jesus_n christ_n but_o shall_v have_v his_o portion_n in_o that_o lake_n that_o burn_v with_o fire_n &_o brimstone_n which_o be_v the_o second_o death_n as_o the_o spirit_n testify_v and_o the_o more_o deep_o to_o persuade_v this_o unto_o the_o conscience_n he_o will_v set_v before_o we_o the_o son_n of_o god_n love_n jesus_n christ_n and_o tell_v we_o that_o the_o lord_n spare_v no_o not_z his_o own_o son_n who_o have_v put_v our_o sin_n upon_o he_o and_o how_o then_o shall_v he_o spare_v we_o yea_o he_o will_v set_v before_o our_o eye_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n pour_v upon_o cain_n for_o his_o murder_n upon_o the_o beniaminites_n for_o their_o adultery_n upon_o corah_n dathan_n and_o abiram_n for_o their_o rebellion_n who_o go_v down_o quick_a into_o hell_n and_o upon_o the_o sodomite_n who_o the_o lord_n destroy_v with_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n from_o heaven_n for_o their_o sin_n yea_o he_o will_v set_v before_o our_o eye_n the_o threaten_n of_o god_n who_o have_v threaten_v death_n and_o damnation_n to_o all_o that_o shall_v transgress_v his_o law_n and_o those_o curse_n contain_v in_o the_o law_n of_o god_n denounce_v against_o the_o wicked_a and_o as_o they_o which_o be_v in_o security_n shall_v hear_v from_o satan_n nothing_o else_o but_o mercy_n mercy_n so_o they_o that_o be_v afflict_v shall_v find_v nothing_o from_o satan_n but_o justice_n justice_n wrath_n vengeance_n and_o displeasure_n and_o by_o this_o mean_n it_o be_v incredible_a what_o fear_n and_o tremble_v he_o breed_v in_o the_o heart_n person_n and_o for_o our_o sin_n be_v punish_v and_o so_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n be_v execute_v in_o and_o upon_o he_o and_o also_o that_o as_o the_o law_n with_o the_o threaten_n thereof_o appertain_v unto_o the_o obstinate_a so_o the_o promise_n with_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n &_o not_o the_o law_n appertain_v unto_o they_o that_o be_v true_o humble_v and_o in_o jesus_n christ_n for_o
