that_o which_o we_o have_v say_v of_o faith_n god_n forbid_v yea_o we_o establish_v the_o law_n and_o confirm_v it_o in_o its_o right_a use_n for_o though_o we_o deny_v the_o law_n to_o be_v the_o mean_n or_o cause_n of_o our_o justification_n yet_o we_o allow_v it_o to_o be_v the_o director_n of_o our_o life_n and_o manner_n even_o after_o our_o justification_n and_o we_o teach_v that_o by_o faith_n we_o have_v that_o strength_n to_o perform_v the_o precept_n of_o the_o law_n which_o the_o law_n itself_o can_v not_o give_v chap._n iii_o ver._n 1._o what_o advantage_n then_o have_v the_o much_o every_o way_n note_v that_o these_o word_n every_o way_n be_v so_o to_o be_v take_v as_o that_o they_o have_v no_o other_o efficacy_n than_o to_o make_v a_o strong_a asseveration_n or_o affirmation_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v very_o much_o chief_o because_o unto_o they_o be_v commit_v the_o oracle_n of_o god_n i._n e._n chief_o because_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n be_v commit_v to_o they_o which_o be_v jew_n by_o birth_n and_o which_o be_v circumcise_v by_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n understand_v the_o word_n of_o god_n write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n but_o especial_o the_o promise_n therein_o contain_v of_o the_o mâ—ssias_n and_o of_o justification_n and_o other_o benefit_n and_o blessing_n which_o occur_v by_o he_o in_o which_o the_o jew_n excel_v the_o gentile_n of_o other_o privilege_n than_o these_o that_o the_o jew_n have_v we_o read_v rom._n 9_o v._n 4_o 5._o but_o this_o the_o apostle_n make_v the_o chief_a these_o oracle_n be_v say_v to_o have_v be_v commit_v to_o the_o jew_n not_o as_o a_o pledge_n or_o thing_n in_o trust_n to_o the_o use_n and_o benefit_n only_o of_o other_o but_o as_o their_o own_o proper_a good_n and_o as_o a_o treasure_n to_o serve_v they_o and_o enrich_v they_o so_o that_o whatsoever_o be_v therein_o contain_v appertain_v to_o the_o jew_n promise_n and_o all_o ver._n 3._o for_o what_o if_o some_o do_v not_o believe_v shall_v their_o unbelief_n &c_n &c_n between_o this_o and_o the_o forego_n verse_n we_o must_v understand_v a_o objection_n make_v by_o a_o gentile_a which_o have_v new_o receive_v the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n to_o this_o effect_n q._n d._n yea_o but_o the_o circumcise_a jew_n have_v no_o such_o prerogative_n now_o for_o though_o god_n commit_v unto_o they_o his_o
