time_n for_o adam_n be_v general_o think_v not_o to_o have_v stand_v one_o full_a day_n in_o his_o innocency_n yet_o be_v they_o very_o far_o separate_v in_o nature_n even_o as_o far_o as_o justice_n and_o mercy_n in_o god_n or_o innocency_n and_o sin_n in_o man_n the_o one_o covenant_n be_v to_o save_v the_o righteous_a by_o the_o rule_n of_o justice_n the_o other_o be_v to_o save_v the_o sinner_n by_o the_o plea_n of_o mercy_n the_o covenant_n renew_v to_o the_o jew_n by_o moses_n be_v that_o of_o work_n to_o keep_v they_o in_o bondage_n that_o they_o may_v gasp_v and_o sigh_v and_o groan_v after_o their_o redeemer_n the_o covenant_n renew_v to_o the_o christian_n by_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v that_o of_o grace_n to_o enstate_v they_o in_o liberty_n that_o they_o may_v see_v the_o mercy_n and_o enjoy_v the_o comfort_n of_o their_o redemption_n what_o be_v of_o grace_n or_o mercy_n in_o the_o covenant_n by_o moses_n be_v not_o from_o moses_n but_o from_o christ_n not_o from_o the_o covenant_n but_o from_o the_o testament_n and_o therefore_o that_o be_v proper_o call_v a_o covenant_n because_o it_o give_v life_n only_o upon_o the_o strict_a rule_n of_o justice_n but_o this_o be_v more_o proper_o call_v a_o testament_n because_o it_o give_v life_n upon_o the_o relaxation_n of_o those_o strict_a rule_n of_o justice_n and_o admit_v the_o condescension_n and_o mitigation_n of_o mercy_n each_o covenant_n be_v conditional_a promise_v everlasting_a life_n only_o to_o those_o who_o keep_v its_o condition_n byr_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n promise_v life_n upon_o the_o condition_n of_o do_v accept_v only_o of_o perfect_a righteousness_n and_o obedience_n the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n promise_v life_n upon_o the_o condition_n of_o believe_v accept_v of_o righteousness_n and_o obedience_n if_o it_o be_v sincere_a though_o it_o be_v not_o perfect_a that_o be_v accept_n of_o repentance_n for_o obedience_n and_o of_o faith_n for_o righteousness_n so_o that_o the_o new_a testament_n by_o christ_n though_o it_o be_v a_o conditional_a covenant_n as_o be_v the_o old_a by_o moses_n yet_o have_v it_o not_o the_o same_o condition_n with_o that_o as_o your_o word_n import_v but_o a_o condition_n quite_o different_a from_o it_o sc_n the_o condition_n of_o believe_v instead_o of_o do_v for_o so_o it_o be_v say_v god_n have_v raise_v up_o his_o son_n jesus_n send_v he_o to_o bless_v you_o in_o turn_v away_o every_o one_o of_o you_o from_o his_o iniquity_n act._n 3._o 26._o in_o that_o our_o jesus_n come_v to_o bless_v we_o by_o turn_v we_o from_o our_o iniquity_n it_o be_v evident_a we_o must_v turn_v from_o our_o sin_n or_o we_o can_v have_v his_o blessing_n but_o in_o that_o it_o be_v he_o that_o bless_v we_o it_o be_v as_o evident_a our_o blessing_n depend_v not_o upon_o our_o obedience_n but_o upon_o our_o faith_n not_o upon_o our_o own_o but_o upon_o his_o righteousness_n wherefore_o though_o we_o allow_v and_o affirm_v that_o all_o thing_n
