firm_a that_o it_o may_v never_o be_v remove_v again_o let_v we_o consider_v if_o the_o hour_n of_o mercy_n linger_v that_o the_o fault_n be_v in_o ourselves_o alas_o god_n labour_v hard_a about_o we_o but_o we_o be_v knotty_a piece_n we_o will_v not_o sudden_o be_v bring_v to_o any_o frame_n we_o be_v not_o qualify_v for_o a_o cure_n and_o extraordinary_a mercy_n by_o and_o by_o oh_o what_o a_o task_n god_n have_v to_o humble_v we_o to_o make_v we_o sensible_a of_o undeservingness_n to_o qualify_v we_o so_o that_o we_o may_v prize_v the_o mercy_n and_o use_v the_o mercy_n as_o we_o it_o once_o be_v we_o have_v such_o strong_a corruption_n in_o we_o that_o they_o will_v not_o be_v subdue_v we_o have_v such_o proud_a and_o stubborn_a heart_n that_o they_o will_v not_o be_v bring_v down_o so_o that_o if_o god_n be_v long_o about_o we_o and_o if_o he_o keep_v we_o under_o hand_n we_o have_v cause_n to_o thank_v ourselves_o and_o the_o perverseness_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n let_v we_o consider_v that_o the_o father_n hour_n will_v come_v in_o which_o he_o will_v show_v we_o mercy_n he_o will_v arise_v and_o have_v mercy_n on_o zion_n the_o needy_a shall_v not_o always_o be_v the_o holiness_n of_o god_n as_o it_o will_v be_v very_o useful_a to_o prepare_v we_o and_o to_o make_v we_o fit_a for_o prayer_n so_o it_o will_v be_v very_o helpful_a to_o we_o in_o the_o part_n of_o prayer_n and_o that_o both_o in_o confession_n and_o petition_n and_o thanksgiving_n 1._o it_o will_v help_v to_o humble_v we_o in_o the_o confession_n of_o our_o sin_n while_o we_o consider_v that_o they_o be_v so_o filthy_a and_o unclean_a and_o god_n upon_o the_o other_o side_n who_o we_o confess_v they_o to_o so_o holy_a this_o can_v choose_v if_o it_o be_v due_o weigh_v but_o shame_v we_o wonderful_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o have_v be_v and_o be_v so_o filthy_a before_o such_o a_o holy_a god_n indeed_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v ashamed_a to_o commit_v iniquity_n be_v such_o a_o odious_a thing_n the_o lord_n have_v plant_v shame_n in_o man_n to_o be_v a_o bridle_n as_o it_o be_v to_o check_v he_o to_o curb_v he_o and_o to_o hold_v he_o in_o from_o and_o confound_v for_o your_o own_o way_n ezek._n 36.2_o to_o review_v our_o sin_n with_o shame_n and_o to_o cry_v out_o as_o daniel_n do_v dan._n 9.8_o to_o we_o belong_v confusion_n etc._n etc._n and_o ezra_n in_o his_o sad_a confession_n ezra_n 9.6_o oh_o my_o god_n i_o blush_v say_v he_o and_o be_o ashamed_a to_o lift_v up_o my_o face_n to_o thou_o we_o shall_v remember_v our_o evil_a way_n and_o our_o do_n that_o be_v not_o good_a and_o loathe_v ourselves_o for_o our_o abomination_n ezek._n 36.30_o we_o shall_v remember_v and_o be_v confound_v and_o never_o open_v our_o mouth_n any_o above_o all_o these_o thing_n put_v on_o charity_n which_o be_v the_o bond_n of_o perfectness_n how_o be_v the_o prophet_n david_n carry_v out_o beyond_o himself_o and_o even_o ravish_v in_o the_o contemplation_n of_o this_o precious_a unity_n among_o the_o saint_n and_o therefore_o call_v other_o to_o join_v in_o admiration_n with_o he_o psal_n 133.1_o behold_v how_o good_a and_o pleasant_a spiritual_a estate_n it_o be_v observe_v of_o the_o church_n act_v 4.32_o that_o they_o be_v of_o one_o heart_n and_o one_o soul_n and_o that_o which_o follow_v present_o be_v this_o great_a grace_n be_v upon_o they_o all_o it_o seem_v they_o be_v in_o the_o increase_n and_o the_o thrive_a hand_n by_o this_o mean_n where_o there_o be_v great_a peace_n among_o the_o saint_n there_o be_v great_a grace_n too_o much_o union_n bring_v forth_o much_o communion_n and_o much_o communion_n bring_v forth_o much_o holiness_n and_o much_o grace_n when_o christian_n walk_v on_o in_o a_o sweet_a and_o amicable_a way_n they_o can_v choose_v but_o grow_v exceed_o but_o when_o dissension_n make_v they_o to_o reserve_v themselves_o this_o be_v extreme_o prejudicial_a to_o the_o increase_n in_o the_o air_n continual_o rend_v and_o tear_v with_o storm_n and_o thunder_n and_o tempestuous_a stir_n which_o rise_v at_o first_o of_o a_o thing_n of_o nothing_o a_o thin_a invisible_a fume_n draw_v up_o from_o the_o earth_n and_o all_o this_o come_v to_o pass_v by_o the_o dissension_n that_o they_o have_v with_o other_o which_o take_v away_o the_o meekness_n of_o their_o spirit_n and_o with_o that_o their_o quiet_a too_o and_o therefore_o you_o shall_v find_v a_o meek_a and_o quiet_a spirit_n join_v together_o and_o make_v the_o chief_a adorn_v of_o a_o christian_a 1_o pet._n 2.4_o who_o adorn_v let_v it_o be_v that_o of_o the_o hide_a man_n of_o the_o heart_n even_o the_o adorn_v of_o a_o meek_a and_o quiet_a spirit_n it_o it_o be_v meek_a it_o will_v be_v quiet_a if_o enrage_a it_o they_o will_v have_v peace_n with_o god_n if_o they_o be_v angry_a one_o with_o another_o god_n
and_o nourish_v discord_n and_o dissension_n for_o these_o if_o we_o will_v give_v they_o entertainment_n will_v set_v our_o heart_n on_o fire_n of_o hell_n and_o therefore_o when_o our_o thought_n begin_v to_o work_v apace_o in_o any_o injury_n or_o provocation_n that_o be_v offer_v to_o we_o and_o to_o tell_v we_o strange_a thing_n that_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v bear_v and_o that_o it_o joy_n and_o consequent_o of_o what_o kind_n it_o be_v which_o if_o they_o be_v deprive_v of_o their_o riches_n or_o honour_n their_o heart_n like_o nabal_n die_v within_o they_o their_o joy_n be_v dash_v and_o their_o comfort_n go_v whereas_o the_o saint_n of_o christ_n who_o heart_n be_v fill_v with_o spiritual_a joy_n retain_v it_o in_o a_o measure_n in_o the_o loss_n of_o earthly_a thing_n and_o profess_v with_o the_o prophet_n habbakuk_n chap._n 3.17_o though_o the_o figtree_n shall_v not_o blossom_n neither_o shall_v there_o be_v any_o fruit_n in_o the_o vine_n if_o the_o labour_n
