this_o fruit_n that_o grow_v upon_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o it_o be_v full_a of_o strength_n it_o will_v strengthen_v your_o soul_n abundant_o you_o may_v know_v it_o be_v very_o nourish_v by_o the_o sweetness_n of_o it_o physician_n say_v that_o which_o taste_v well_o it_o nourish_v well_o and_o if_o so_o i_o be_o sure_a this_o fruit_n be_v nourish_a fruit_n for_o it_o have_v the_o sweet_a taste_n it_o have_v the_o most_o delightful_a taste_n o_o the_o sudden_a strength_n that_o the_o taste_n of_o this_o fruit_n have_v convey_v unto_o poor_a weak_a and_o weary_a soul_n to_o such_o as_o have_v be_v spend_v almost_o in_o their_o combat_n and_o ready_a to_o faint_v and_o give_v up_o the_o ghost_n their_o spirit_n have_v be_v ready_a to_o fail_v within_o they_o and_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v but_o one_o taste_n of_o this_o fruit_n some_o fruit_n or_o other_o the_o fruit_n of_o his_o death_n or_o the_o fruit_n of_o his_o resurrection_n ascension_n or_o mediation_n and_o it_o have_v give_v new_a strength_n and_o new_a life_n to_o the_o poor_a soul_n and_o it_o have_v make_v it_o stand_v up_o and_o leap_v for_o joy_n it_o creep_v upon_o the_o earth_n before_o and_o now_o it_o mount_v up_o like_o the_o eagle_n oh_o this_o excellent_a fruit_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n it_o be_v worth_a the_o pluck_n and_o it_o be_v worth_a the_o eat_n beside_o you_o may_v well_o pluck_v much_o of_o this_o fruit_n you_o that_o have_v interest_n in_o christ_n you_o have_v all_o the_o advantage_n that_o can_v be_v you_o have_v the_o shadow_n over_o you_o whilst_o you_o pluck_v it_o brother_n in_o the_o family_n yet_o a_o brother_n in_o the_o same_o town_n city_n country_n or_o nation_n however_o in_o the_o same_o common_a nature_n of_o adam_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o poor_a dark_a frail_a nature_n every_o man_n and_o woman_n be_v a_o brother_n but_o some_o relation_n more_o near_o than_o other_o this_o spiritual_a relation_n the_o same_o profession_n the_o same_o faith_n the_o same_o god_n the_o same_o inheritance_n this_o be_v a_o great_a engagement_n to_o pass_v by_o and_o to_o forgive_v wrong_n whilst_o he_o be_v a_o brother_n the_o lord_n when_o he_o forgive_v he_o forgive_v inferior_n there_o be_v a_o infinite_a distance_n between_o god_n and_o the_o creature_n when_o the_o lord_n forgive_v a_o poor_a creature_n there_o be_v a_o infinite_a distance_n betwixt_o god_n and_o man_n but_o not_o betwixt_o man_n and_o man_n and_o therefore_o upon_o this_o account_n christ_n require_v it_o but_o then_o 3._o reas_n three_o another_o ground_n be_v this_o if_o there_o be_v neglect_n of_o this_o duty_n unto_o any_o of_o their_o brethren_n it_o will_v be_v a_o grief_n unto_o their_o fellow-servant_n and_o they_o will_v make_v their_o complaint_n unto_o their_o lord_n it_o can_v but_o be_v a_o great_a grief_n of_o heart_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v fellow-servant_n when_o any_o that_o do_v profess_v the_o name_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v so_o far_o shall_v see_v one_o that_o be_v call_v a_o brother_n a_o professor_n when_o they_o shall_v see_v he_o so_o unready_a to_o forgive_v as_o he_o shall_v study_v wrong_n and_o injury_n and_o study_v revenge_n it_o will_v grieve_v they_o and_o cause_v they_o many_o time_n to_o go_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o make_v their_o complaint_n there_o be_v such_o a_o man_n that_o make_v profession_n of_o thy_o name_n and_o yet_o walk_v very_o unworthy_a of_o that_o profession_n very_o unsuitable_a but_o 4._o reas_n four_o again_o neglect_v of_o this_o duty_n will_v hinder_v and_o keep_v back_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o good_a and_o pull_v down_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o evil_n christ_n know_v this_o very_a well_o and_o therefore_o he_o do_v command_v this_o duty_n christ_n know_v that_o the_o neglect_n of_o this_o duty_n will_v hinder_v man_n of_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o good_a it_o may_v deprive_v a_o man_n of_o many_o temporal_a mercy_n of_o many_o temporal_a salvation_n the_o lord_n may_v call_v in_o the_o grant_n of_o temporal_a mercy_n whenas_o he_o shall_v see_v such_o a_o spirit_n in_o any_o that_o profess_v his_o name_n as_o to_o retain_v the_o sense_n of_o wrong_n and_o injury_n and_o not_o to_o pass_v they_o by_o it_o put_v the_o lord_n upon_o it_o many_o time_n to_o recall_v the_o grant_n of_o temporal_a mercy_n as_o in_o the_o parable_n follow_v nay_o not_o only_o so_o but_o it_o may_v deprive_v the_o soul_n of_o many_o special_a spiritual_a choice_n mercy_n it_o may_v hinder_v the_o soul_n from_o behold_v the_o light_n of_o god_n countenance_n it_o be_v true_a the_o soul_n be_v once_o pardon_v by_o faith_n in_o christ_n god_n will_v never_o recall_v that_o pardon_n ay_o but_o if_o that_o man_n or_o woman_n that_o be_v pardon_v and_o they_o have_v the_o pardon_v seal_v and_o witness_v yet_o shall_v walk_v unworthy_a of_o pardon_v love_n and_o shall_v not_o come_v up_o to_o this_o duty_n of_o forgive_a pardon_v and_o pass_v by_o wrong_n and_o injury_n the_o lord_n will_v recall_v the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o pardon_v love_n and_o the_o sense_n of_o it_o though_o not_o the_o pardon_n itself_o it_o do_v not_o only_o deprive_v the_o soul_n of_o much_o good_a but_o it_o also_o pull_v down_o much_o evil_n and_o not_o only_o outward_a evil_n but_o sometime_o the_o lord_n manifest_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o wrath_n and_o displeasure_n upon_o such_o a_o one_o as_o be_v of_o a_o implacable_a spirit_n to_o retain_v wrong_n and_o injury_n as_o it_o be_v with_o that_o servant_n that_o will_v not_o forgive_v his_o fellow-servant_n the_o lord_n command_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v deliver_v up_o unto_o the_o tormentor_n and_o cast_v into_o prison_n until_o he_o have_v pay_v the_o uttermost_a farthing_n why_o a_o man_n though_o he_o have_v but_o a_o profession_n the_o lord_n let_v he_o alone_o with_o that_o formal_a profession_n till_o such_o time_n as_o he_o come_v forth_o with_o such_o a_o waspish_a peevish_a spirit_n against_o god_n people_n and_o seek_v to_o wrong_v and_o injure_v they_o why_o then_o the_o lord_n he_o take_v the_o advantage_n upon_o he_o and_o give_v he_o up_o unto_o the_o tormentor_n because_o of_o such_o a_o waspish_a spirit_n whenas_o he_o will_v not_o forgive_v a_o brother_n a_o wrong_n or_o injury_n but_o retain_v anger_n he_o can_v find_v in_o his_o heart_n to_o forgive_v the_o lord_n sometime_o come_v upon_o such_o a_o man_n though_o a_o christian_a the_o lord_n come_v and_o take_v he_o and_o deliver_v he_o up_o to_o the_o tormentor_n deliver_v he_o up_o to_o his_o own_o conscience_n though_o not_o to_o deliver_v he_o up_o out_o of_o his_o hand_n but_o the_o lord_n will_v deliver_v he_o up_o unto_o his_o own_o conscience_n unto_o the_o manifestation_n of_o wrath_n till_o he_o shall_v have_v make_v satisfaction_n till_o he_o shall_v have_v cry_v out_o unto_o christ_n for_o more_o strength_n to_o carry_v it_o more_o like_a unto_o he_o 5._o reason_n but_o last_o christ_n command_v and_o commend_v the_o forgive_n of_o wrong_n and_o injury_n that_o

his_o father_n but_o when_o he_o be_v yet_o a_o great_a way_n off_o his_o father_n see_v he_o and_o have_v compassion_n and_o run_v and_o fall_v on_o his_o neck_n and_o kiss_v he_o mark_v how_o the_o rather_o warrant_v so_o to_o do_v if_o my_o brother_n confess_v and_o acknowledge_v his_o offence_n than_o it_o may_v be_v we_o think_v it_o our_o duty_n to_o forgive_v though_o hardly_o to_o bring_v off_o our_o heart_n to_o that_o but_o where_o there_o be_v no_o confession_n and_o acknowledgement_n where_o be_v the_o man_n like_o the_o prodigal_n father_n to_o run_v and_o meet_v his_o son_n and_o seal_v up_o forgiveness_n before_o confession_n or_o a_o acknowledgement_n this_o show_v that_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o matter_n of_o forgiveness_n be_v far_o above_o man_n the_o lord_n man_n bring_v off_o to_o this_o work_n 2._o second_o nay_o again_o the_o fullness_n of_o god_n forgive_a mercy_n it_o appear_v in_o this_o he_o do_v not_o only_o forgive_v all_o the_o offence_n farthing_n so_o that_o now_o justice_n and_o mercy_n be_v meet_v together_o they_o now_o do_v embrace_v and_o kiss_v each_o other_o justice_n be_v satisfy_v and_o mercy_n be_v satisfy_v justice_n be_v put_v it_o upon_o his_o people_n a_o far_o more_o glorious_a righteousness_n than_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o angel_n so_o that_o the_o believe_a soul_n may_v stand_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o so_o that_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n be_v now_o nigh_o unto_o a_o believe_a soul_n and_o the_o believe_a soul_n may_v say_v now_o with_o the_o apostle_n true_o our_o fellowship_n be_v with_o the_o father_n and_o with_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n before_o it_o may_v be_v say_v of_o every_o man_n in_o the_o world_n his_o fellowship_n be_v with_o sin_n with_o hell_n and_o the_o devil_n and_o enemy_n to_o god_n but_o now_o by_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n peace_n be_v make_v and_o reconciliation_n be_v make_v and_o believe_v soul_n may_v say_v true_o our_o fellowship_n be_v with_o the_o father_n and_o with_o the_o son_n jesus_n christ_n that_o be_v a_o four_o fruit_n that_o grow_v upon_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n 5._o five_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n it_o have_v crush_v the_o head_n of_o the_o old_a serpent_n he_o have_v bind_v the_o strong_a man_n and_o cast_v he_o out_o and_o deliver_v poor_a captive_a soul_n out_o of_o the_o mouth_n and_o paw_n of_o the_o lion_n no_o opportunity_n to_o do_v good_a but_o he_o give_v her_o allowance_n to_o share_v with_o he_o and_o to_o take_v comfort_n together_o of_o that_o which_o god_n have_v give_v he_o 6._o again_o sixthly_a and_o last_o he_o will_v maintain_v her_o honour_n in_o the_o family_n and_o therefore_o he_o command_v that_o she_o be_v respect_v he_o will_v not_o suffer_v servant_n nor_o child_n to_o usurp_v authority_n over_o she_o but_o command_v that_o reverence_n be_v show_v and_o submission_n give_v to_o she_o over_o all_o the_o family_n he_o look_v upon_o she_o as_o one_o that_o god_n have_v set_v next_z himself_z to_o be_v the_o next_o light_n of_o the_o family_n and_o therefore_o desire_v that_o she_o may_v share_v and_o be_v respect_v he_o know_v that_o god_n have_v give_v she_o to_o be_v a_o help_n and_o so_o under_o he_o to_o look_v to_o the_o way_n of_o her_o family_n child_n and_o maiden_n and_o therefore_o in_o this_o he_o do_v countenance_v she_o lest_o the_o family_n be_v disorder_v and_o god_n be_v dishonour_v in_o it_o this_o he_o do_v as_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o for_o his_o sake_n though_o there_o may_v be_v unworthiness_n on_o her_o part_n because_o it_o be_v the_o ordinance_n and_o appointment_n of_o god_n thus_o you_o see_v what_o be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o first_o relation_n of_o husband_n and_o wife_n 2._o but_o second_o the_o second_o relation_n in_o the_o family_n be_v of_o child_n and_o parent_n now_o if_o a_o gracious_a heart_n as_o one_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n be_v such_o in_o either_o of_o these_o relation_n you_o shall_v see_v his_o gracious_a carriage_n 1._o first_o to_o speak_v in_o relation_n to_o child_n if_o god_n have_v set_v he_o as_o a_o child_n he_o desire_v to_o obey_v his_o parent_n in_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o lord_n he_o desire_v to_o give_v willing_a submission_n and_o obedience_n unto_o they_o â—ay_n and_o that_o from_o the_o very_a heart_n he_o obey_v they_o as_o christ_n obey_v his_o father_n in_o psal_n 40._o 7_o 8._o lo_o i_o come_v to_o do_v thy_o will_n i_o delight_v to_o do_v thy_o will_n o_o god_n thy_o law_n be_v in_o my_o heart_n and_o this_o be_v the_o carriage_n of_o a_o gracious_a child_n one_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n to_o his_o parent_n he_o obey_v they_o from_o the_o heart_n 2._o second_o he_o also_o submit_v unto_o all_o their_o instruction_n he_o embrace_v the_o wholesome_a counsel_n of_o his_o parent_n he_o will_v not_o despise_v the_o counsel_n of_o his_o father_n nor_o depart_v from_o the_o law_n of_o his_o mother_n but_o he_o wear_v they_o as_o a_o ornament_n of_o government_n yet_o he_o look_v upon_o himself_o all_o his_o day_n bind_v to_o honour_n and_o respect_v they_o and_o to_o maintain_v they_o if_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v upon_o they_o to_o shorten_v their_o comfort_n and_o if_o his_o be_v lengthen_v our_o he_o look_v upon_o himself_o as_o bound_v to_o relieve_v their_o want_n and_o to_o be_v a_o comfort_n and_o stay_v unto_o they_o in_o their_o old_a age_n this_o be_v the_o carriage_n of_o one_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n if_o he_o be_v find_v in_o the_o relation_n of_o a_o child_n but_o for_o the_o relation_n of_o a_o father_n if_o he_o stand_v in_o the_o relation_n of_o a_o parent_n you_o shall_v also_o see_v his_o gracious_a carriage_n 1._o first_o of_o all_o he_o look_v upon_o his_o child_n as_o give_v he_o of_o god_n to_o be_v bring_v up_o for_o god_n he_o know_v that_o they_o be_v but_o only_o send_v out_o to_o nurse_n as_o it_o be_v to_o he_o god_n have_v give_v he_o such_o and_o such_o child_n to_o train_v up_o in_o his_o fear_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v his_o great_a desire_n to_o see_v the_o image_n of_o god_n upon_o they_o he_o be_v more_o desirous_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v make_v rich_a in_o grace_n than_o in_o gold_n therefore_o he_o pray_v for_o they_o counsel_v they_o instruct_v they_o give_v they_o good_a example_n and_o all_o that_o so_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n may_v be_v communicate_v unto_o they_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v please_v at_o any_o time_n to_o work_v upon_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o child_n oh_o how_o thankful_a be_v he_o unto_o the_o lord_n for_o it_o and_o he_o rejoice_v a_o thousand_o time_n more_o even_o in_o this_o that_o he_o know_v that_o they_o be_v the_o lord_n than_o that_o they_o be_v he_o 2._o second_o again_o he_o will_v not_o bear_v with_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a in_o they_o though_o they_o be_v never_o so_o nigh_o to_o he_o though_o they_o be_v of_o his_o flesh_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o bear_v with_o that_o which_o be_v a_o dishonour_n to_o god_n he_o will_v not_o suffer_v that_o in_o a_o child_n which_o he_o abhor_v in_o another_o which_o he_o will_v reprove_v nay_o it_o may_v be_v punish_v in_o a_o servant_n but_o he_o be_v impartial_a in_o the_o matter_n of_o god_n when_o god_n honour_n be_v concern_v in_o it_o he_o will_v connive_v at_o any_o wickedness_n in_o they_o 3._o three_o and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n he_o be_v careful_a not_o to_o provoke_v they_o to_o wrath_n for_o that_o be_v another_o extreme_a he_o remember_v that_o that_o be_v a_o precept_n father_n provoke_v not_o your_o child_n to_o wrath_n but_o bring_v they_o up_o in_o the_o fear_n and_o nurture_n of_o the_o lord_n he_o desire_v rather_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a to_o rule_v they_o by_o love_n than_o by_o fear_n he_o know_v that_o slavish_a fear_n be_v the_o seed_n of_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o evil_n and_o many_o time_n it_o destroy_v ingenuity_n itself_o he_o will_v provoke_v they_o by_o cut_v word_n as_o saul_n do_v his_o son_n jonathan_n in_o the_o first_o of_o samuel_n you_o shall_v see_v what_o cut_v word_n he_o give_v to_o jonathan_n a_o good_a and_o gracious_a son_n 1_o sam._n 20._o 30._o then_o saul_n anger_n be_v kindle_v against_o jonathan_n and_o he_o say_v unto_o he_o thou_o son_n of_o the_o perverse_a rebellious_a woman_n etc._n etc._n 4._o four_o he_o will_v not_o deny_v they_o conveniency_n and_o that_o education_n that_o be_v fit_a for_o they_o but_o he_o be_v careful_a to_o dispose_v of_o they_o in_o the_o way_n of_o a_o lawful_a call_v he_o set_v they_o in_o a_o good_a way_n that_o they_o may_v be_v serviceable_a to_o the_o lord_n and_o their_o generation_n according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o the_o lord_n when_o he_o be_v dead_a and_o go_v 5._o five_o he_o will_v fall_v upon_o they_o with_o violence_n before_o he_o know_v the_o matter_n and_o examine_v the_o cause_n lest_o he_o shall_v smite_v they_o without_o cause_n he_o will_v not_o cast_v they_o off_o for_o every_o offence_n but_o he_o seek_v the_o lord_n for_o they_o and_o wait_v long_o for_o their_o return_n he_o pray_v and_o pray_v again_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v bring_v they_o home_o unto_o himself_o and_o if_o at_o any_o time_n the_o lord_n give_v repentance_n he_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o a_o great_a mercy_n and_o his_o heart_n be_v draw_v forth_o in_o thankfulness_n and_o this_o be_v the_o carriage_n of_o one_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n in_o the_o relation_n of_o a_o parent_n there_o be_v a_o three_o relation_n in_o which_o i_o shall_v be_v more_o short_a and_o that_o be_v that_o of_o servant_n and_o master_n now_o if_o god_n set_v a_o gracious_a soul_n in_o this_o relation_n you_o shall_v see_v his_o carriage_n 1._o first_o of_o all_o if_o he_o be_v a_o servant_n he_o be_v fall_v into_o scandal_n and_o a_o blurr_n to_o their_o conscience_n and_o profession_n now_o many_o time_n the_o lord_n to_o prevent_v this_o do_v shorten_v the_o day_n of_o some_o of_o his_o servant_n as_o i_o give_v instance_n of_o king_n jehosaphat_n and_o asa_n begin_v to_o imprison_v and_o to_o oppose_v and_o he_o may_v have_v do_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o evil_n but_o god_n smite_v he_o with_o a_o disease_n in_o his_o foot_n and_o he_o die_v and_o it_o be_v in_o love_n to_o his_o soul_n but_o again_o 5._o five_o god_n love_v his_o servant_n and_o therefore_o when_o they_o have_v do_v much_o in_o a_o little_a time_n and_o long_o for_o his_o appearance_n o_o when_o shall_v i_o come_v and_o appear_v before_o thou_o so_o he_o call_v alike_o for_o they_o he_o have_v long_v desire_n to_o see_v they_o when_o they_o have_v do_v the_o work_n of_o their_o generation_n he_o will_v take_v they_o to_o himself_o in_o abundance_n of_o love_n and_o mercy_n object_n but_o you_o will_v say_v be_v not_o long_a life_n a_o blessing_n have_v not_o god_n promise_v to_o give_v long_a life_n to_o his_o servant_n in_o prov._n 10._o 27._o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n prolong_v day_n and_o so_o see_v what_o job_n say_v job_n 5._o 27._o thou_o shall_v come_v to_o thy_o grave_n in_o a_o full_a age_n like_v to_o a_o shock_n of_o corn_n bring_v in_o in_o good_a season_n now_o how_o be_v this_o promise_n make_v good_a that_o god_n take_v away_o some_o of_o his_o servant_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o their_o day_n how_o then_o do_v they_o come_v to_o the_o fullness_n of_o their_o and_o give_v out_o both_o temporal_a and_o spiritual_a yet_o now_o god_n present_a dispensation_n since_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o flesh_n it_o be_v more_o spiritual_a he_o give_v out_o more_o spiritual_n and_o less_o of_o temporal_n he_o give_v out_o more_o of_o his_o own_o glory_n which_o he_o have_v please_v to_o reveal_v in_o and_o through_o jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o which_o he_o give_v out_o now_o unto_o his_o servant_n in_o spiritual_n may_v abundant_o recompense_v the_o absence_n of_o all_o temporal_a mercy_n whatsoever_o but_o 2._o again_o second_o that_o these_o promise_n be_v conditional_a all_o outward_a promise_n promise_n of_o riches_n and_o honour_n of_o health_n and_o child_n and_o promise_n of_o long_a life_n these_o be_v all_o conditional_a god_n have_v not_o promise_v they_o absolute_o but_o with_o this_o limitation_n so_o far_o as_o he_o in_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o fatherly_a love_n and_o care_n shall_v see_v to_o be_v good_a for_o they_o so_o far_o the_o lord_n will_v fulfil_v any_o yea_o all_o those_o temporal_a promise_n which_o be_v give_v out_o so_o far_o as_o the_o lord_n shall_v see_v to_o be_v good_a for_o they_o and_o therefore_o if_o the_o lord_n do_v take_v away_o his_o servant_n any_o of_o his_o servant_n betimes_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o their_o day_n and_o do_v it_o give_v out_o these_o blessing_n of_o long_a life_n it_o be_v because_o the_o lord_n see_v its_o best_a for_o they_o they_o be_v stranger_n here_o and_o it_o be_v not_o good_a for_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v long_o from_o home_n he_o see_v it_o in_o his_o wisdom_n i_o say_v to_o be_v best_a for_o they_o because_o their_o day_n be_v evil_a it_o be_v mercy_n that_o their_o day_n be_v few_o god_n in_o wisdom_n put_v both_o these_o together_o few_o and_o evil_a say_v old_a jacob_n in_o gen._n 47._o 9_o few_o and_o evil_n have_v the_o day_n of_o the_o year_n of_o my_o life_n be_v and_o i_o have_v not_o attain_v unto_o the_o day_n of_o the_o year_n of_o the_o life_n of_o my_o father_n in_o the_o day_n of_o their_o pilgrimage_n few_o and_o evil_a the_o lord_n see_v its_o good_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v few_o because_o they_o be_v evil_a in_o job_n 14._o 1._o man_n that_o be_v bear_v of_o a_o woman_n be_v of_o few_o day_n and_o full_a of_o trouble_n what_o a_o mercy_n be_v it_o that_o god_n have_v put_v these_o together_o few_o day_n and_o full_a of_o trouble_n he_o be_v full_a of_o trouble_n trouble_v from_o within_o and_o trouble_v from_o without_o he_o be_v trouble_v with_o corruption_n temptation_n affliction_n with_o the_o sin_n of_o other_o with_o the_o dishonour_n that_o be_v bring_v to_o god_n in_o the_o world_n now_o when_o he_o be_v full_a of_o trouble_n it_o be_v mercy_n that_o his_o day_n be_v few_o that_o be_v a_o second_o answer_n 3._o but_o again_o three_o i_o must_v say_v to_o that_o objection_n concern_v the_o promise_n of_o long_a life_n to_o the_o saint_n that_o this_o promise_n be_v make_v good_a to_o a_o gracious_a man_n or_o woman_n when_o god_n take_v they_o away_o they_o be_v full_a of_o day_n he_o shall_v die_v in_o a_o full_a age_n say_v job_n full_a of_o day_n why_o a_o gracious_a man_n be_v full_a of_o day_n because_o he_o be_v full_a of_o grace_n he_o be_v full_a of_o holiness_n and_o goodness_n and_o therefore_o he_o have_v fill_v up_o his_o day_n a_o wicked_a man_n when_o god_n cut_v he_o off_o he_o be_v never_o full_a of_o day_n in_o this_o respect_n his_o day_n be_v empty_a his_o day_n be_v full_a of_o vanity_n full_a of_o sin_n they_o be_v spend_v as_o a_o shadow_n but_o a_o gracious_a man_n be_v full_a of_o goodness_n he_o be_v full_o ripe_a he_o be_v ripe_a for_o heaven_n he_o be_v ripe_a for_o the_o grave_n at_o that_o time_n when_o god_n cut_v he_o down_o for_o he_o be_v god_n husbandry_n god_n will_v cut_v down_o his_o corn_n before_o it_o be_v ripe_a if_o he_o cut_v off_o betimes_o he_o ripen_v betimes_o he_o will_v cause_v they_o to_o fulfil_v their_o day_n god_n will_v fill_v their_o day_n full_a of_o grace_n and_o holiness_n 4._o again_o four_o we_o may_v see_v that_o this_o promise_n be_v make_v good_a for_o a_o gracious_a man_n have_v enough_o of_o life_n when_o god_n call_v he_o to_o die_v he_o have_v enough_o of_o life_n so_o that_o he_o be_v not_o take_v away_o before_o his_o time_n why_o because_o he_o have_v enough_o of_o life_n it_o be_v enough_o say_v the_o prophet_n lord_n it_o be_v enough_o therefore_o take_v i_o away_o i_o be_o no_o better_a than_o my_o father_n even_o so_o god_n cause_v his_o people_n to_o say_v though_o he_o take_v they_o away_o betimes_o yet_o they_o shall_v say_v lord_z it_o be_v enough_o i_o have_v enough_o of_o life_n i_o have_v enough_o of_o the_o world_n i_o see_v nothing_o desirable_a here_o nothing_o that_o may_v provoke_v i_o to_o live_v long_o here_o and_o therefore_o if_o the_o lord_n say_v it_o be_v enough_o he_o will_v say_v it_o be_v enough_o too_o but_o this_o will_v the_o wicked_a man_n he_o will_v never_o say_v he_o have_v enough_o let_v he_o live_v a_o hundred_o year_n twice_o thrice_o tell_v yet_o he_o will_v never_o have_v enough_o the_o righteous_a come_v to_o the_o grave_a but_o the_o wicked_a be_v drag_v and_o hale_v to_o his_o grave_n he_o be_v not_o a_o volunteer_n to_o his_o grave_n and_o therefore_o here_o be_v the_o promise_n make_v good_a if_o god_n satisfy_v the_o heart_n of_o his_o people_n and_o enable_v they_o to_o say_v lord_z i_o have_v enough_o enough_o of_o the_o world_n here_o and_o if_o thou_o please_v to_o expire_v soul_n shall_v be_v set_v at_o liberty_n they_o shall_v be_v great_o enlarge_v towards_o god_n and_o run_v towards_o god_n the_o desire_n of_o the_o soul_n shall_v run_v like_o a_o mighty_a stream_n towards_o god_n here_o there_o be_v but_o a_o little_a drop_n of_o the_o affection_n but_o then_o a_o mighty_a stream_n shall_v run_v not_o only_a faith_n but_o love_n shall_v be_v perfect_a a_o in_o his_o act_n there_o he_o be_v narrow_a he_o can_v act_v according_a to_o his_o desire_n but_o now_o when_o death_n come_v the_o believe_a soul_n shall_v be_v set_v at_o liberty_n it_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o act_v according_a to_o its_o desire_n it_o shall_v be_v whatever_o it_o desire_v to_o be_v and_o it_o shall_v do_v whatever_o it_o desire_v to_o do_v and_o it_o shall_v have_v as_o much_o holiness_n as_o it_o will_v desire_v to_o have_v this_o be_v a_o mighty_a privilege_n and_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o that_o gain_n that_o come_v in_o by_o death_n unto_o that_o soul_n where_o christ_n be_v its_o life_n it_o meet_v with_o this_o liberty_n and_o enlargement_n but_o again_o 4._o four_o the_o believe_a soul_n by_o death_n gain_v not_o only_a liberty_n but_o abundance_n of_o life_n it_o gain_v life_n it_o have_v more_o of_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n it_o enjoy_v more_o of_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n and_o have_v the_o fullness_n of_o it_o communicate_v and_o now_o brethren_n this_o be_v a_o mighty_a gain_n to_o gain_v life_n what_o will_v a_o man_n gain_v more_o and_o what_o be_v a_o great_a gain_n than_o life_n it_o be_v beyond_o the_o gain_n of_o all_o treasure_n whatever_o natural_a life_n be_v the_o great_a of_o all_o mercy_n thou_o shall_v have_v thy_o life_n for_o a_o prey_n and_o that_o be_v the_o great_a mercy_n skin_n for_o skin_n and_o all_o that_o a_o man_n have_v will_v he_o give_v for_o his_o life_n and_o in_o this_o the_o believe_a soul_n shall_v come_v near_o to_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n for_o he_o shall_v have_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o fountain_n and_o so_o more_o of_o it_o communicate_v to_o he_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o for_o which_o the_o apostle_n desire_v to_o be_v dissolve_v and_o to_o be_v with_o christ_n which_o be_v best_a of_o all_o for_o there_o he_o shall_v have_v perfection_n of_o life_n in_o christ_n there_o shall_v be_v nothing_o there_o to_o hinder_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n from_o flow_v in_o unto_o the_o soul_n there_o
