be_v free_o remit_v i_o answer_v they_o be_v so_o far_o from_o contradiction_n that_o they_o must_v necessary_o go_v together_o for_o where_o there_o be_v no_o shed_n of_o blood_n there_o be_v no_o remission_n which_o be_v as_o much_o to_o say_v where_o there_o be_v no_o satisfaction_n there_o be_v no_o forgiveness_n god_n be_v exact_o just_a and_o exact_o merciful_a and_o he_o can_v show_v exact_a justice_n but_o he_o must_v show_v exact_a mercy_n god_n exact_a justice_n require_v that_o sin_n be_v full_o satisfy_v for_o his_o exact_a mercy_n require_v that_o they_o be_v free_o forgive_v so_o in_o respect_n of_o justice_n they_o be_v full_o satisfy_v for_o but_o in_o respect_n of_o mercy_n they_o be_v free_o forgive_v again_o consider_v christ_n and_o ourselves_o in_o respect_n of_o christ_n our_o sin_n be_v not_o free_o forgive_v but_o satisfy_v for_o in_o respect_n of_o we_o they_o be_v not_o satisfy_v for_o but_o free_o forgive_v it_o be_v full_a satisfaction_n and_o be_v baptize_v every_o one_o of_o you_o in_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n why_o all_o that_o be_v true_o baptize_v into_o christ_n be_v partaker_n of_o whatsoever_o occasion_n befall_v he_o still_o he_o labour_v for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o his_o sin_n o_o lord_n be_v merciful_a to_o my_o sin_n this_o also_o be_v the_o practice_n of_o our_o saviour_n some_o come_v to_o he_o about_o one_o disease_n some_o about_o another_o the_o leprosy_n the_o palsy_n and_o the_o like_a his_o answer_n be_v thy_o sin_n be_v forgive_v thou_o sin_n no_o more_o etc._n etc._n by_o which_o tender_a he_o teach_v we_o what_o we_o must_v special_o labour_v for_o and_o chief_o aim_v at_o in_o the_o practice_n of_o religion_n namely_o for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n but_o some_o will_v say_v how_o shall_v we_o come_v by_o this_o i_o answer_v we_o must_v seek_v for_o it_o pray_v for_o it_o and_o use_v the_o mean_n which_o god_n have_v appoint_v to_o obtain_v the_o same_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o meditate_v upon_o it_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n and_o labour_n to_o profit_v by_o these_o thing_n &_o to_o get_v the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n and_o this_o we_o must_v understand_v that_o howsoever_o we_o can_v do_v nothing_o to_o procure_v the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n but_o the_o lord_n must_v first_o forgive_v before_o our_o work_n can_v be_v acceptable_a yet_o notwithstanding_o god_n have_v appoint_v mean_n wherein_o he_o have_v promise_v to_o meet_v we_o let_v we_o humble_v ourselves_o before_o thing_n for_o we_o then_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n it_o call_v continual_o for_o mercy_n for_o we_o though_o our_o sin_n be_v great_a and_o grievous_a as_o red_a as_o scarlet_a deep_o dye_v by_o our_o continuance_n in_o they_o or_o by_o our_o relapse_v or_o by_o our_o much_o hardness_n of_o heart_n against_o god_n warning_n yet_o dive_v thou_o deep_a into_o the_o fountain_n of_o christ_n blood_n and_o that_o will_v put_v thou_o into_o another_o hugh_o his_o scarlet_a blood_n will_v put_v down_o thy_o scarlet_a sin_n though_o never_o so_o deep_o dye_v and_o procure_v thou_o mercy_n and_o present_v thou_o faultless_a before_o the_o lord_n but_o how_o shall_v i_o know_v that_o i_o have_v forgiveness_n of_o sin_n i_o answer_v his_o be_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o he_o not_o many_o and_o much_o less_o can_v thou_o merit_v newness_n of_o life_n grace_n and_o salvation_n whosoever_o challenge_v this_o to_o themselves_o they_o detract_v from_o god_n and_o encroach_v upon_o that_o we_o may_v be_v the_o more_o incorporate_v into_o it_o that_o be_v to_o be_v make_v more_o and_o more_o one_o with_o christ_n in_o his_o death_n than_o ever_o we_o be_v before_o more_o crucify_v and_o more_o mortify_v than_o ever_o we_o be_v before_o there_o be_v no_o way_n whereby_o we_o can_v have_v part_n in_o christ_n but_o by_o union_n and_o there_o be_v no_o way_n whereby_o we_o can_v have_v union_n with_o christ_n but_o by_o be_v incorporate_a into_o he_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o death_n and_o there_o be_v no_o better_a way_n to_o make_v we_o more_o incorporate_a into_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n than_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v and_o therefore_o when_o we_o come_v to_o this_o let_v this_o be_v our_o strain_n not_o only_o to_o be_v swallow_v up_o with_o the_o meditation_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n but_o labour_v to_o be_v more_o and_o more_o incorporate_a into_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n thereby_o last_o of_o all_o
