merciful_a father_n we_o do_v not_o present_v ourselves_o here_o before_o thy_o majesty_n trust_v in_o our_o own_o merit_n or_o worthiness_n but_o in_o thy_o manifold_a mercy_n which_o have_v promise_v to_o hear_v our_o prayer_n and_o grant_v our_o request_n which_o we_o shall_v make_v to_o thou_o in_o the_o name_n of_o thy_o belove_a son_n jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n who_o also_o have_v command_v we_o to_o assemble_v ourselves_o together_o in_o his_o name_n with_o full_a assurance_n that_o he_o will_v not_o only_o be_v among_o we_o but_o also_o be_v our_o mediator_n and_o advocate_n towards_o thy_o majesty_n that_o we_o may_v obtain_v all_o thing_n which_o shall_v seem_v expedient_a to_o thy_o bless_a will_n for_o our_o necessity_n therefore_o we_o beseech_v thou_o most_o merciful_a father_n to_o turn_v thy_o love_a countenance_n towards_o we_o and_o impute_v not_o unto_o we_o our_o manifold_a sin_n and_o offence_n whereby_o we_o just_o deserve_v thy_o wrath_n and_o sharp_a punishment_n but_o rather_o receive_v we_o to_o thy_o mercy_n for_o jesus_n christ_n sake_n accept_v his_o death_n and_o passion_n as_o a_o just_a recompense_n for_o all_o our_o offence_n in_o who_o thou_o be_v well_o please_v and_o through_o who_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v offend_v with_o we_o and_o see_v that_o of_o thy_o great_a mercy_n we_o have_v quiet_o pass_v this_o night_n grant_v o_o heavenly_a father_n that_o we_o may_v bestow_v this_o day_n whole_o in_o thy_o service_n so_o that_o all_o our_o thought_n word_n and_o deed_n may_v redound_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o thy_o great_a have_v not_o only_o create_v we_o to_o thy_o own_o similitude_n and_o likeness_n but_o also_o have_v choose_v we_o to_o be_v heir_n with_o thy_o dear_a son_n jesus_n christ_n of_o that_o immortal_a believe_v in_o thou_o their_o only_a saviour_n and_o redeemer_n but_o forasmuch_o as_o they_o can_v believe_v except_o they_o hear_v nor_o can_v hear_v but_o by_o preach_v and_o none_o can_v preach_v except_o they_o be_v send_v therefore_o o_o lord_n raise_v up_o faithful_a distributer_n of_o thy_o mystery_n who_o set_v apart_o all_o worldly_a respect_n may_v both_o in_o their_o life_n and_o doctrine_n only_o seek_v thy_o glory_n contrary_o confound_v satan_n and_o antichrist_n with_o all_o hireling_n who_o thou_o have_v already_o cast_v off_o into_o a_o reprobate_a sense_n that_o they_o cause_n against_o those_o raven_a wolf_n and_o strengthen_v all_o thy_o servant_n who_o they_o keep_v in_o prison_n and_o bondage_n let_v not_o thy_o long-suffering_a be_v a_o occasion_n either_o to_o increase_v their_o tyranny_n or_o to_o discourage_v thy_o child_n neither_o yet_o let_v our_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n be_v a_o hindrance_n to_o thy_o mercy_n but_o with_o speed_n o_o lord_n consider_v these_o great_a misery_n for_o thy_o people_n israel_n many_o time_n by_o their_o sin_n provoke_v thy_o anger_n and_o thou_o punish_v they_o by_o thy_o just_a judgement_n yet_o though_o their_o sin_n be_v never_o so_o grievous_a if_o they_o once_o return_v from_o their_o iniquity_n thou_o receive_v they_o to_o mercy_n we_o therefore_o most_o wretched_a sinner_n bewail_v our_o and_o all_o other_o thing_n necessary_a for_o we_o and_o thy_o whole_a church_n according_a to_o thy_o promise_n in_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n in_o who_o name_n we_o beseech_v thou_o as_o he_o have_v teach_v we_o say_v our_o father_n which_o art_n etc._n etc._n evening_n prayer_n o_o lord_n god_n father_n everlasting_a and_o full_a of_o pity_n we_o acknowledge_v and_o confess_v that_o we_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o lift_v up_o our_o eye_n to_o heaven_n much_o less_o to_o present_v ourselves_o before_o thy_o majesty_n with_o confidence_n that_o thou_o will_v hear_v our_o prayer_n and_o beseech_v thou_o not_o to_o call_v to_o remembrance_n our_o manifold_a sin_n and_o wickedness_n whereby_o we_o continual_o provoke_v thy_o wrath_n and_o indignation_n against_o we_o neither_o our_o negligence_n and_o unkindness_n which_o have_v neither_o worthy_o esteem_v nor_o in_o our_o life_n sufficient_o express_v the_o sweet_a comfort_n of_o thy_o gospel_n reveal_v unto_o we_o but_o
