as_o also_o to_o confirm_v and_o strengthen_v the_o faith_n of_o poor_a soul_n in_o come_v to_o christ_n for_o suppose_v it_o shall_v be_v which_o never_o will_v be_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o time_n wherein_o the_o will_n of_o the_o son_n shall_v decline_v the_o work_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o poor_a sinner_n yet_o be_v the_o father_n will_v so_o much_o in_o the_o thing_n that_o he_o and_o ability_n in_o the_o salvation_n of_o sinner_n the_o will_n of_o christ_n vers_fw-la 28._o and_o i_o give_v unto_o they_o eternal_a life_n and_o they_o shall_v never_o perish_v neither_o shall_v any_o man_n pluck_v they_o out_o of_o my_o hand_n of_o the_o father_n vers_n 29._o my_o father_n which_o give_v they_o i_o be_v great_a than_o all_o and_o no_o man_n be_v able_a to_o pluck_v they_o and_o be_v gather_v together_o against_o god_n judah_n and_o jerusalem_n think_v to_o drink_v up_o jerusalem_n and_o to_o devour_v she_o they_o shall_v find_v jerusalem_n to_o be_v unto_o they_o like_o a_o cup_n of_o poison_n it_o shall_v set_v they_o all_o on_o tremble_v and_o instead_o of_o ruine_v jerusalem_n they_o shall_v be_v ruin_v by_o she_o and_o again_o vers_fw-la 3._o in_o that_o now_o when_o a_o horse_n be_v fill_v with_o astonishment_n we_o see_v he_o fly_v back_o and_o instead_o of_o offend_v the_o enemy_n he_o destroy_v friend_n and_o so_o prove_v the_o ruin_n of_o those_o who_o march_v out_o with_o he_o and_o when_o a_o horse_n be_v blind_a he_o be_v of_o no_o use_n at_o all_o to_o do_v any_o service_n in_o a_o way_n of_o offence_n or_o defence_n and_o when_o a_o man_n be_v mad_a and_o have_v lose_v the_o use_n of_o his_o reason_n he_o can_v make_v no_o more_o difference_n than_o a_o very_a beast_n betwixt_o friend_n and_o foe_n but_o fall_v upon_o all_o alike_o sinner_n the_o object_n thereof_o 2_o of_o his_o truth_n for_o god_n have_v decree_v to_o save_v sinner_n enter_v into_o a_o covenant_n with_o his_o son_n pass_v his_o oath_n and_o give_v his_o seal_n the_o father_n have_v call_v christ_n to_o heaven_n and_o set_v he_o down_o there_o at_o his_o right_a hand_n for_o this_o very_a end_n to_o be_v a_o prince_n and_o a_o saviour_n to_o poor_a sinner_n act_n 5.31_o he_o have_v god_n exalt_v with_o his_o right_a hand_n to_o be_v a_o prince_n and_o a_o saviour_n for_o to_o give_v repentance_n to_o israel_n and_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n which_o can_v but_o have_v much_o influence_n upon_o the_o father_n will_n in_o this_o thing_n for_o so_o long_o as_o he_o see_v his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n sit_v at_o his_o right_a hand_n he_o be_v put_v in_o continual_a remembrance_n of_o the_o end_n of_o his_o call_v he_o thither_o to_o wit_n the_o complete_n of_o that_o most_o glorious_a work_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o poor_a sinner_n 2_o that_o god_n the_o father_n have_v set_v he_o about_o a_o work_n there_o put_v the_o case_n god_n shall_v forget_v it_o yet_o will_v continual_o remember_v he_o of_o it_o which_o be_v the_o work_n of_o intercession_n whereby_o christ_n spread_v that_o blood_n which_o once_o be_v shed_v here_o below_o on_o earth_n before_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n in_o heaven_n by_o which_o god_n the_o father_n be_v also_o that_o he_o must_v needs_o be_v so_o because_o otherwise_o a_o great_a part_n of_o his_o joy_n and_o delight_n which_o be_v in_o this_o work_n shall_v be_v lose_v this_o we_o have_v luke_n 15._o where_o throughout_o the_o chapter_n by_o the_o joy_n of_o the_o man_n for_o his_o sheep_n the_o woman_n for_o her_o piece_n of_o silver_n and_o father_n for_o his_o son_n be_v set_v forth_o great_a begetter_n and_o knitter_n of_o affection_n what_o beget_v such_o affection_n betwixt_o father_n and_o child_n husband_n and_o wife_n relation_n and_o from_o hence_o the_o party_n relate_v be_v make_v to_o wish_v and_o endeavour_v the_o good_a of_o each_o other_o 2_o that_o christ_n stand_v in_o all_o these_o relation_n he_o be_v master_n king_n brother_n father_n husband_n head_n all_o these_o if_o to_o be_v but_o in_o one_o of_o these_o relation_n as_o a_o father_n or_o husband_n make_v a_o man_n so_o willing_a and_o industrious_a of_o the_o good_a of_o the_o party_n relate_v to_o then_o much_o more_o to_o be_v in_o all_o now_o christ_n be_v in_o all_o and_o therefore_o can_v but_o be_v exceed_o willing_a 3_o that_o these_o relation_n can_v never_o be_v break_v earthly_a relation_n may_v be_v and_o be_v dissolve_v they_o be_v knot_n death_n untie_v but_o now_o the_o relation_n betwixt_o christ_n and_o his_o poor_a sinful_a creature_n can_v never_o be_v break_v and_o law_n be_v within_o my_o heart_n where_o this_o will_n of_o god_n to_o save_v sinner_n be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o law_n within_o his_o heart_n object_n but_o if_o it_o be_v so_o as_o you_o say_v that_o or_o that_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n it_o shall_v be_v so_o person_n in_o such_o a_o condition_n be_v those_o god_n will_v save_v but_o not_o all_o in_o that_o condition_n object_n but_o it_o be_v say_v 1_o tim._n 2.4_o that_o god_n will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o be_v save_v answ_n it_o be_v not_o mean_v of_o every_o man_n but_o man_n of_o all_o sort_n for_o the_o apostle_n vers_fw-la 1._o have_v exhort_v they_o to_o pray_v for_o all_o man_n and_o particular_o vers_fw-la 2_o for_o king_n and_o man_n in_o authority_n lest_o some_o shall_v say_v be_v there_o any_o hope_n for_o king_n will_v it_o not_o be_v better_o for_o the_o faith_n and_o comfort_n of_o poor_a soul_n to_o say_v that_o god_n will_v have_v or_o that_o god_n do_v will_v it_o that_o all_o shall_v be_v save_v ans_fw-fr no_o it_o will_v be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v better_o that_o it_o will_v be_v worse_o unless_o we_o affirm_v that_o all_o shall_v certain_o be_v save_v for_o if_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o god_n real_o will_v have_v that_o all_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o yet_o many_o be_v not_o save_v then_o where_o will_v the_o foundation_n of_o a_o saint_n comfort_n and_o assurance_n be_v be_v not_o this_o the_o bottom_n of_o a_o believer_n assurance_n for_o heaven_n that_o his_o eternal_a salvation_n be_v found_v upon_o the_o will_n of_o god_n which_o as_o it_o be_v unalterable_a in_o itself_o so_o also_o can_v be_v hinder_v from_o effect_v what_o itself_o will_v by_o sin_n satan_n or_o any_o other_o thing_n from_o without_o and_o therefore_o his_o salvation_n bottom_v upon_o this_o will_n can_v be_v hinder_v but_o now_o if_o god_n do_v real_o will_n that_o all_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o many_o be_v not_o save_v than_o it_o will_v follow_v that_o somewhat_o there_o be_v which_o may_v alter_v the_o will_n of_o god_n or_o hinder_v that_o which_o he_o real_o will_v from_o be_v put_v in_o execution_n and_o if_o so_o what_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n can_v a_o christian_a ground_n from_o the_o will_n of_o god_n when_o what_o he_o real_o will_n may_v be_v hinder_v use_v 1_o be_v it_o so_o that_o it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n that_o poor_a
