of_o great_a reason_n have_v put_v it_o under_o such_o a_o service_n five_o by_o all_o this_o which_o have_v hitherto_o be_v speak_v it_o appear_v that_o god_n be_v not_o unjust_a but_o most_o holy_a and_o righteous_a first_o in_o make_v a_o law_n for_o man_n to_o observe_v when_o he_o forbid_v the_o eat_n of_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o tree_n of_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a to_o show_v that_o man_n have_v nothing_o by_o personal_a immediate_a and_o underive_v right_o but_o all_o by_o donation_n and_o indulgence_n any_o law_n god_n may_v just_o make_v the_o obedience_n whereof_o he_o malediction_n whereof_o he_o be_v as_o necessary_o &_o righteous_o subject_a if_o he_o transgress_v for_o as_o by_o be_v god_n creature_n he_o be_v subject_a to_o his_o will_n so_o by_o be_v his_o primitive_a order_n and_o perfection_n again_o till_o these_o two_o thing_n be_v first_o effect_v first_o a_o satisfaction_n of_o god_n justice_n and_o second_o a_o reparation_n of_o man_n nature_n which_o two_o must_v needs_o be_v effect_v by_o such_o a_o middle_n and_o common_a person_n as_o have_v both_o zeal_n towards_o god_n that_o he_o may_v be_v satisfy_v and_o compassion_n towards_o man_n that_o he_o may_v be_v repair_v such_o a_o person_n as_o have_v man_n guilt_n and_o punishment_n on_o he_o translate_v may_v satisfy_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n and_o as_o have_v a_o fullness_n of_o god_n spirit_n and_o holiness_n in_o he_o may_v sanctify_v and_o repair_v the_o nature_n of_o man_n and_o this_o person_n be_v the_o priest_n here_o speak_v of_o by_o david_n here_o the_o learned_a frame_n a_o kind_n of_o conflict_n in_o god_n holy_a attribute_n and_o by_o a_o liberty_n which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n from_o the_o language_n of_o holy_a scripture_n allow_v they_o they_o speak_v of_o god_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n as_o if_o he_o be_v reduce_v unto_o some_o strait_n and_o difficulty_n by_o the_o cross_a demand_n of_o his_o several_a attribute_n justice_n call_v upon_o he_o for_o the_o condemnation_n of_o a_o sinful_a and_o therefore_o worthy_o accurse_a creature_n which_o demand_n be_v second_v by_o his_o truth_n to_o make_v good_a that_o threaten_a in_o the_o day_n that_o thou_o eat_v thereof_o thou_o shall_v die_v the_o death_n mercy_n on_o the_o other_o side_n plead_v for_o favour_n and_o compassion_n towards_o man_n woeful_o seduce_v and_o overthrow_v by_o satan_n and_o peace_n for_o reconcilement_n and_o pacification_n between_o a_o offend_a judge_n and_o a_o undo_a creature_n hereupon_o the_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o counsel_n of_o the_o bless_a trinity_n find_v out_o a_o way_n which_o the_o angel_n of_o heaven_n gaze_v on_o with_o admiration_n and_o astonishment_n how_o to_o reconcile_v these_o different_a plea_n of_o his_o
