revelation_n of_o this_o circumstance_n the_o first_o circumstance_n mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n the_o saint_n they_o begin_v not_o to_o see_v first_o but_o god_n first_o reveal_v before_o they_o see_v or_o can_v see_v yea_o they_o have_v never_o see_v one_o glimpse_n with_o their_o eye_n if_o god_n have_v not_o begin_v to_o reveal_v it_o no_o thou_o shall_v never_o see_v any_o heavenly_a or_o spiritual_a thing_n flesh_n and_o blood_n can_v not_o teach_v we_o spiritual_a thing_n thing_n unto_o the_o time_n it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o reveal_v it_o unto_o thou_o then_o in_o that_o he_o be_v the_o beginner_n of_o grace_n herein_o appear_v the_o more_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o the_o matter_n of_o praise_v of_o he_o but_o it_o stay_v not_o here_o we_o will_v come_v then_o to_o the_o next_o what_o move_v he_o to_o reveal_v this_o mystery_n to_o his_o saint_n both_o of_o jew_n and_o gentile_n the_o lord_n do_v nothing_o rash_o he_o have_v circumstance_n the_o second_o ere_o ever_o they_o be_v saint_n be_v it_o that_o move_v he_o to_o reveal_v this_o mystery_n then_o again_o they_o be_v not_o saint_n before_o the_o revelation_n be_v make_v there_o be_v not_o a_o saint_n before_o christ_n be_v reveal_v to_o they_o it_o be_v the_o sight_n of_o christ_n that_o make_v a_o man_n holy_a so_o there_o be_v never_o none_o holy_a but_o he_o that_o first_o get_v that_o sight_n of_o jesus_n the_o sight_n go_v before_o holiness_n and_o holiness_n follow_v upon_o the_o revelation_n because_o holiness_n be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o revelation_n of_o the_o gospel_n then_o you_o see_v that_o as_o the_o lord_n be_v the_o beginner_n of_o the_o revelation_n so_o it_o be_v not_o our_o deserve_n but_o his_o own_o good_a pleasure_n that_o move_v he_o thereto_o the_o lord_n of_o his_o good_a pleasure_n show_v himself_o to_o the_o world_n and_o no_o question_n this_o be_v speak_v that_o thou_o shall_v ever_o glory_v in_o god_n alas_o will_v to_o god_n as_o we_o of_o all_o this_o preach_n of_o this_o admonish_a and_o teach_v and_o that_o in_o all_o wisdom_n the_o fair_a end_n that_o ever_o be_v what_o be_v that_o end_n that_o we_o say_v he_o may_v present_v every_o one_o perfect_a in_o jesus_n christ_n the_o meaning_n hereof_o be_v that_o we_o may_v present_v every_o man_n and_o woman_n to_o who_o we_o preach_v of_o what_o estate_n so_o ever_o they_o shall_v be_v more_o wise_a than_o ever_o plato_n differ_v the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o world_n and_o of_o christ_n how_o they_o differ_v or_o aristotle_n or_o the_o wise_a worldling_n that_o ever_o be_v and_o thou_o shall_v get_v perfect_a wisdom_n in_o the_o end_n and_o this_o be_v that_o difference_n betwixt_o that_o wisdom_n of_o the_o philosopher_n and_o that_o wisdom_n of_o christ_n all_o their_o wisdom_n never_o perfect_v any_o man_n because_o it_o be_v imperfect_a in_o itself_o as_o they_o themselves_o who_o teach_v it_o be_v imperfect_a but_o this_o wisdom_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o god_n as_o he_o be_v perfect_a so_o be_v it_o perfect_a so_o shall_v it_o perfect_v the_o man_n that_o hear_v it_o if_o he_o continue_v but_o a_o short_a time_n in_o hear_v in_o the_o end_n of_o the_o verse_n he_o show_v in_o who_o this_o perfection_n be_v there_o be_v nothing_o without_o christ_n jesus_n there_o be_v no_o grace_n out_o of_o he_o no_o beginning_n of_o grace_n no_o progress_n in_o grace_n no_o perfection_n without_o he_o will_v thou_o begin_v in_o grace_n begin_v in_o he_o will_v thou_o proceed_v in_o grace_n go_v on_o above_o these_o heaven_n brethren_n the_o presence_n of_o jesus_n and_o the_o love_n of_o that_o presence_n shall_v make_v we_o to_o love_v heaven_n and_o make_v we_o oftentimes_o to_o cast_v up_o not_o only_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o soul_n but_o also_o the_o bodily_a eye_n to_o these_o visible_a heaven_n if_o we_o love_v the_o presence_n of_o jesus_n who_o be_v above_o these_o heaven_n and_o to_o strive_v to_o pierce_v through_o they_o as_o to_o his_o own_o presence_n for_o if_o he_o be_v not_o there_o what_o reckon_v be_v there_o of_o these_o heaven_n i_o will_v not_o reckon_v of_o they_o more_o than_o of_o the_o earth_n which_o we_o tread_v on_o and_o i_o have_v rather_o dwell_v with_o jesus_n in_o the_o earth_n then_o in_o heaven_n for_o all_o the_o glory_n thereof_o without_o jesus_n for_o all_o the_o pleasure_n that_o be_v either_o in_o heaven_n or_o earth_n be_v in_o jesus_n and_o without_o he_o away_o with_o heaven_n and_o earth_n both_o i_o will_v give_v nothing_o for_o they_o and_o therefore_o the_o love_n of_o that_o presence_n shall_v make_v we_o to_o love_v heaven_n you_o know_v if_o a_o man_n love_v another_o entire_o he_o will_v love_v the_o place_n of_o jesus_n christ_n now_o follow_v in_o the_o end_n of_o the_o verse_n the_o three_o argument_n take_v from_o the_o estate_n of_o christ_n in_o heaven_n but_o what_o be_v his_o estate_n he_o be_v sit_v at_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o god_n as_o if_o he_o will_v say_v he_o be_v in_o heaven_n but_o not_o there_o as_o a_o servant_n or_o a_o angel_n there_o be_v sundry_a in_o heaven_n but_o in_o diverse_a rank_n he_o be_v in_o heaven_n exalt_v to_o that_o height_n he_o have_v such_o glory_n as_o thou_o never_o heaven_n the_o glory_n of_o christ_n in_o heaven_n see_v all_o the_o angel_n bow_v their_o knee_n he_o be_v lord_n over_o they_o all_o even_o as_o he_o be_v man_n then_o as_o the_o presence_n of_o jesus_n and_o love_n of_o he_o shall_v draw_v our_o heart_n to_o heaven_n so_o the_o estate_n he_o stand_v in_o present_o that_o pass_a glory_n and_o that_o kingdom_n he_o be_v in_o shall_v draw_v our_o heart_n upward_o to_o heaven_n if_o his_o glory_n be_v dear_a to_o thou_o thy_o heart_n will_v be_v where_o his_o glory_n be_v and_o thou_o will_v not_o be_v content_a until_o thy_o heart_n be_v lift_v up_o to_o he_o and_o the_o eye_n of_o thy_o soul_n set_v on_o he_o yea_o this_o bodily_a eye_n will_v ever_o pierce_v to_o get_v that_o presence_n of_o jesus_n in_o the_o heaven_n glorify_v in_o our_o nature_n you_o know_v if_o a_o man_n upon_o who_o our_o life_n and_o comfort_n depend_v be_v in_o a_o strange_a land_n and_o promote_v similitude_n a_o sweet_a similitude_n to_o be_v a_o lord_n thou_o will_v never_o rest_v until_o thou_o be_v with_o he_o and_o thy_o his_o glorious_a estate_n in_o heaven_n all_o which_o shall_v make_v we_o set_v our_o eye_n upward_o to_o heaven_n and_o be_v occupy_v in_o seek_v of_o heavenly_a thing_n meet_v for_o the_o spiritual_a life_n now_o to_o go_v to_o the_o next_o exhortation_n and_o it_o be_v to_o these_o same_o thing_n that_o be_v above_o before_o he_o exhort_v the_o colossian_n to_o seek_v they_o now_o he_o exhort_v they_o to_o be_v wise_a in_o they_o to_o fill_v themselves_o with_o they_o to_o sense_n to_o or_o to_o desire_v that_o they_o may_v affect_v all_o their_o sense_n send_v they_o with_o have_v commend_v onesimus_n for_o his_o brotherly_a love_n and_o conjunction_n that_o he_o have_v with_o he_o in_o christ_n but_o add_v also_o that_o he_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nation_n country_n yea_o it_o may_v be_v city_n with_o they_o in_o which_o respect_n also_o he_o speak_v afterward_o of_o epaphras_n vers_fw-la 12._o of_o this_o chapter_n and_o of_o this_o very_a onesimus_n in_o his_o may_v call_v they_o prayer_n because_o he_o know_v they_o will_v not_o much_o hurt_v he_o and_o his_o kingdom_n but_o he_o will_v mighty_o oppose_v against_o the_o hearty_a prayer_n of_o god_n people_n and_o resist_v they_o by_o object_v and_o cast_v in_o their_o way_n all_o the_o temptation_n that_o possible_o he_o can_v because_o he_o well_o know_v that_o by_o mean_n thereof_o his_o
