then_o much_o more_o give_v up_o your_o sin_n for_o christ_n what_o do_v christ_n require_v of_o thou_o that_o be_v a_o profaner_n of_o his_o day_n but_o to_o abandon_v that_o sin_n to_o crucify_v that_o sin_n oh_o do_v it_o christ_n have_v give_v himself_o for_o thou_o thou_o have_v a_o sin_n perhaps_o that_o be_v near_o and_o dear_a to_o thou_o christ_n call_v for_o it_o oh_o give_v it_o up_o to_o the_o sword_n of_o his_o word_n to_o be_v mortify_v and_o crucify_v he_o give_v up_o his_o dear_a life_n for_o thou_o thus_o i_o think_v this_o same_o be_v a_o notable_a motive_n to_o persuade_v we_o to_o mortification_n to_o die_v to_o sin_n and_o to_o vivification_n to_o live_v to_o christ_n to_o devote_v ourselves_o in_o every_o thing_n to_o the_o lord_n jesus_n let_v we_o not_o let_v we_o not_o i_o beseech_v you_o live_v any_o long_o to_o ourselves_o but_o to_o christ_n who_o have_v love_v we_o so_o as_o to_o give_v himself_o for_o we_o and_o last_o to_o conclude_v this_o point_n let_v i_o persuade_v all_o such_o of_o you_o as_o be_v not_o yet_o believer_n that_o you_o will_v labour_v above_o all_o thing_n to_o become_v believer_n oh_o my_o brethren_n thrice_o happy_a be_v they_o of_o who_o this_o may_v be_v say_v christ_n have_v give_v himself_o for_o we_o this_o be_v only_o the_o happiness_n of_o believer_n they_o who_o heart_n be_v purify_v they_o that_o have_v a_o work_a love_n they_o that_o have_v a_o breastplate_n that_o secure_v their_o soul_n against_o all_o the_o wound_n of_o the_o world_n
and_o sin_n they_o that_o have_v a_o overcome_a and_o victorious_a faith_n they_o have_v this_o happiness_n you_o therefore_o that_o be_v not_o such_o labour_v to_o be_v such_o for_o if_o you_o be_v not_o believer_n you_o have_v no_o benefit_n by_o christ_n it_o shall_v be_v to_o you_o as_o if_o christ_n have_v never_o dye_v be_v there_o any_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n that_o be_v able_a to_o interest_n you_o in_o this_o gift_n but_o only_a faith_n suppose_v you_o have_v never_o so_o much_o honour_n will_v this_o bring_v you_o to_o be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o those_o for_o who_o christ_n be_v give_v suppose_v you_o have_v never_o so_o much_o wealth_n and_o good_a trade_n health_n and_o strength_n of_o body_n and_o the_o confluence_n of_o all_o other_o outward_a contentment_n will_v all_o this_o interest_n you_o in_o the_o gift_n of_o christ_n no_o no_o christ_n have_v not_o give_v himself_o for_o worldling_n for_o those_o that_o be_v load_v with_o honour_n and_o carnal_a pleasure_n and_o profit_n he_o have_v give_v himself_o for_o those_o that_o have_v faith_n and_o only_o for_o they_o as_o ever_o therefore_o you_o desire_v to_o have_v a_o interest_n in_o this_o gift_n of_o christ_n labour_v to_o have_v in_o your_o soul_n this_o grace_n of_o faith_n will_v it_o not_o do_v any_o one_o good_a to_o be_v in_o the_o number_n of_o those_o who_o be_v so_o dear_a a_o peculiar_a people_n zealous_a of_o good_a work_n these_o be_v the_o two_o end_n of_o christ_n give_v of_o himself_o the_o one_o concern_v the_o good_a of_o his_o people_n the_o other_o the_o glory_n of_o himself_o here_o be_v the_o end_n of_o christ_n incarnation_n of_o christ_n obedience_n to_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n suffering_n and_o passion_n the_o glory_n of_o himself_o and_o the_o good_a of_o his_o people_n this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o all_o that_o christ_n do_v and_o these_o two_o be_v ever_o join_v together_o in_o christ_n man_n salvation_n and_o god_n honour_n first_o of_o all_o we_o will_v begin_v with_o the_o first_o end_n which_o be_v all_o i_o suppose_v that_o we_o shall_v go_v through_o with_o at_o this_o time_n and_o that_o be_v that_o which_o concern_v believer_n iniquity_n and_o then_o second_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o redeem_v from_o all_o iniquity_n for_o the_o first_o what_o be_v mean_v by_o iniquity_n the_o word_n in_o the_o original_a it_o be_v transgression_n that_o he_o may_v redeem_v we_o from_o all_o transgression_n it_o be_v a_o go_v beside_o the_o law_n a_o violate_v and_o break_v of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n it_o be_v well_o translate_v iniquity_n for_o it_o be_v a_o evil_a for_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v only_o good_a and_o therefore_o go_v beside_o the_o law_n must_v be_v evil_a it_o be_v injurious_a to_o god_n
