in_o the_o state_n of_o a_o most_o low_a servant_n serve_v we_o for_o our_o wealth_n and_o profit_n we_o i_o say_v which_o be_v his_o swear_a enemy_n which_o have_v renounce_v his_o holy_a law_n and_o commandment_n and_o follow_v the_o lust_n and_o sinful_a pleasure_n of_o our_o corrupt_a nature_n and_o yet_o i_o say_v 2._o coloss_n 2._o do_v christ_n put_v himself_o between_o god_n deserve_a wrath_n and_o our_o sin_n and_o rend_v that_o obligation_n wherein_o we_o be_v in_o danger_n to_o god_n and_o pay_v our_o debt_n our_o debt_n be_v a_o great_a deal_n too_o great_a for_o we_o to_o have_v pay_v and_o without_o payment_n god_n the_o father_n can_v never_o be_v at_o one_o with_o we_o neither_o be_v it_o possible_a to_o be_v loose_v from_o this_o debt_n by_o our_o own_o ability_n it_o please_v he_o therefore_o to_o be_v the_o payer_n thereof_o and_o to_o discharge_v we_o quite_o who_o can_v now_o consider_v the_o grievous_a debt_n of_o sin_n which_o can_v none_o otherwise_o be_v pay_v but_o by_o the_o death_n of_o a_o innocent_a and_o will_v not_o hate_v sin_n in_o his_o heart_n if_o god_n hate_v sin_n so_o much_o that_o he_o will_v allow_v neither_o man_n nor_o angel_n for_o the_o redemption_n thereof_o but_o only_o the_o death_n of_o his_o only_a and_o well-beloved_a son_n who_o will_v not_o stand_v in_o fear_n thereof_o if_o we_o my_o friend_n consider_v this_o that_o for_o our_o sin_n this_o most_o innocent_a lamb_n be_v drive_v to_o death_n we_o shall_v have_v much_o more_o cause_n to_o bewail_v ourselves_o that_o we_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o death_n than_o to_o cry_v out_o of_o the_o malice_n and_o cruelty_n of_o the_o jew_n which_o pursue_v he_o to_o his_o death_n we_o do_v the_o deed_n wherefore_o he_o be_v thus_o strike_v and_o wound_v they_o be_v only_o the_o minister_n of_o our_o wickedness_n it_o be_v meet_v then_o that_o we_o shall_v step_v low_o down_o into_o our_o heart_n and_o bewail_v our_o own_o wretchedness_n and_o sinful_a live_n let_v we_o know_v for_o a_o certainty_n that_o if_o the_o most_o dear_o belove_v son_n of_o god_n be_v thus_o punish_v and_o strike_v for_o the_o sin_n which_o he_o have_v not_o do_v himself_o how_o much_o more_o ought_v we_o sore_o to_o be_v strike_v for_o our_o daily_a and_o manifold_a sin_n which_o we_o commit_v against_o god_n if_o we_o earnest_o repent_v we_o not_o and_o be_v not_o sorry_a for_o they_o no_o man_n can_v love_v sin_n which_o god_n hate_v so_o much_o and_o be_v in_o his_o favour_n no_o man_n can_v say_v that_o he_o love_v christ_n true_o and_o have_v his_o great_a enemy_n sin_n i_o mean_v the_o author_n of_o his_o death_n familiar_a and_o in_o friendship_n with_o he_o so_o much_o do_v we_o love_v god_n and_o christ_n as_o we_o hate_v sin_n we_o ought_v therefore_o to_o take_v great_a heed_n that_o we_o be_v not_o favourer_n thereof_o lest_o we_o be_v find_v enemy_n to_o god_n and_o traitor_n to_o christ_n for_o not_o only_o they_o which_o nail_v christ_n upon_o the_o cross_n be_v his_o tormentor_n and_o crucifier_n 6._o heb._n 6._o but_o all_o they_o say_v st._n paul_n crucify_v again_o the_o son_n of_o god_n as_o much_o as_o be_v in_o they_o who_o do_v commit_v vice_n and_o sin_n which_o bring_v he_o to_o his_o death_n 6._o rom._n 6._o if_o the_o wage_n of_o sin_n be_v death_n and_o death_n everlasting_a sure_o it_o be_v no_o small_a danger_n to_o be_v in_o service_n thereof_o 8._o rom._n 8._o rom._n 8._o if_o we_o live_v after_o the_o flesh_n and_o after_o the_o sinful_a lust_n thereof_o st_o paul_n threaten_v yea_o almighty_a god_n in_o st._n paul_n threaten_v that_o we_o shall_v sure_o die_v we_o can_v none_o otherwise_o live_v to_o god_n but_o by_o die_v to_o sin_n if_o christ_n be_v in_o we_o then_o be_v sin_n dead_a in_o we_o and_o if_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v in_o we_o which_o raise_v christ_n from_o death_n to_o life_n so_o shall_v the_o same_o spirit_n raise_v we_o to_o the_o resurrection_n of_o everlasting_a life_n 1._o rom._n 1._o but_o if_o sin_n rule_n and_o reign_v in_o we_o then_o be_v god_n which_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o all_o grace_n and_o virtue_n depart_v from_o we_o then_o have_v the_o devil_n and_o his_o ungracious_a spirit_n rule_n and_o dominion_n in_o we_o and_o sure_o if_o in_o such_o miserable_a state_n we_o die_v we_o shall_v
