felicity_n and_o yet_o again_o she_o may_v look_v on_o it_o to_o see_v the_o curse_n that_o be_v cast_v upon_o it_o and_o in_o the_o terriblenesse_n of_o that_o curse_n she_o may_v see_v the_o horror_n of_o sin_n that_o look_v from_o it_o again_o to_o her_o lord_n and_o saviour_n she_o may_v see_v the_o excellency_n of_o his_o love_n and_o inestimable_a value_n of_o his_o person_n who_o often_o touch_v and_o remove_v she_o that_o so_o she_o may_v be_v keep_v continual_o loose_v from_o it_o but_o because_o the_o cement_n which_o join_v the_o soul_n to_o the_o world_n be_v the_o flesh_n and_o she_o must_v adulterate_v first_o with_o this_o old_a husband_n before_o she_o can_v prostitute_v herself_o to_o the_o world_n let_v the_o soul_n take_v especial_a care_n to_o watch_v and_o resist_v the_o approach_n of_o this_o fly_n but_o deadly_a enemy_n that_o come_v in_o the_o shape_n of_o a_o lover_n this_o be_v he_o who_o the_o true_a husband_n who_o name_n be_v jealous_a small_a taste_n of_o these_o spiritual_a joy_n he_o that_o make_v we_o know_v our_o frame_n and_o what_o be_v the_o fit_a proportion_n both_o for_o our_o age_n and_o measure_n there_o be_v babe_n in_o christ_n and_o we_o seldom_o give_v wine_n to_o child_n because_o it_o be_v too_o high_a for_o they_o 4.33_o christ_n give_v his_o doctrine_n so_o as_o they_o be_v able_a to_o hear_v it_o and_o so_o give_v he_o the_o joy_n of_o his_o spirit_n as_o we_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v it_o as_o by_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o same_o spirit_n the_o joy_n may_v be_v convert_v into_o into_o spituall_a advantage_n and_o not_o pervert_v by_o the_o flesh_n into_o carnal_a voluptousnesse_n security_n or_o swell_a the_o soul_n must_v be_v faithful_a in_o little_a before_o she_o be_v a_o owner_n of_o much_o and_o therefore_o there_o be_v common_o some_o time_n of_o trial_n and_o acquaintance_n between_o christ_n and_o the_o soul_n before_o he_o will_v trust_v she_o with_o great_a familiarity_n and_o give_v she_o the_o great_a and_o high_a degree_n of_o his_o hide_a joy_n beside_o it_o must_v be_v know_v and_o consider_v that_o christ_n jesus_n have_v some_o part_n who_o measure_n even_o at_o their_o full_a growth_n be_v so_o small_a as_o the_o infancy_n of_o other_o part_n a_o finger_n in_o his_o full_a growth_n be_v not_o so_o big_a as_o the_o leg_n of_o a_o infant_n and_o such_o little_a part_n may_v have_v less_o feel_n of_o these_o joy_n because_o of_o their_o littleness_n and_o yet_o they_o may_v be_v as_o lively_a as_o the_o great_a for_o a_o finger_n live_v as_o well_o as_o a_o arm_n and_o indeed_o let_v such_o especial_o look_v that_o their_o life_n be_v sound_a in_o they_o &_o that_o shall_v they_o know_v by_o the_o action_n of_o life_n if_o faith_n and_o love_n be_v active_a in_o they_o then_o be_v they_o lively_a and_o live_a for_o it_o be_v no_o other_o but_o the_o life_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o which_o make_v faith_n and_o love_n to_o be_v lively_a and_o operative_a in_o they_o 3.14_o and_o then_o let_v they_o not_o fear_v for_o they_o be_v pass_v from_o death_n to_o life_n on_o these_o fruit_n therefore_o let_v they_o especial_o look_v for_o though_o they_o have_v not_o here_o many_o sweetness_n and_o joy_n yet_o if_o they_o have_v many_o fruit_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n they_o shall_v hereafter_o have_v a_o great_a measure_n of_o joy_n look_v upward_o be_v a_o infernal_a thing_n because_o of_o the_o counterballance_a tribulation_n wherefore_o if_o thou_o envy_v another_o man_n consolation_n why_o do_v thou_o not_o also_o envy_v
