the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n and_o all_o be_v to_o arm_n and_o prepare_v we_o against_o the_o evil_a day_n then_o he_o give_v the_o reason_n for_o love_n be_v strong_a as_o death_n by_o which_o he_o mean_v his_o own_o love_n my_o love_n to_o thou_o be_v strong_a as_o death_n therefore_o build_v upon_o it_o for_o as_o death_n be_v of_o most_o invincible_a strength_n which_o swallow_v up_o and_o overcome_v all_o thing_n so_o say_v christ_n be_v my_o love_n to_o thou_o so_o that_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n manifest_v to_o we_o in_o the_o preach_a of_o the_o gospel_n be_v receive_v by_o faith_n swallow_v up_o death_n hell_n the_o grave_a the_o curse_n and_o brief_o all_o thing_n else_o whatsoever_o that_o may_v make_v we_o any_o way_n miserable_a but_o jealousy_n be_v cruel_a as_o the_o grave_a mean_v cruel_a to_o the_o spouse_n when_o through_o the_o strength_n of_o temptation_n she_o begin_v to_o question_v the_o love_n of_o christ_n to_o she_o and_o grow_v jealous_a of_o the_o same_o and_o can_v hardly_o be_v persuade_v to_o the_o contrary_a this_o wheresoever_o it_o reign_v be_v even_o as_o the_o grave_a which_o swallow_v up_o and_o put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o the_o comfort_n of_o man_n the_o coal_n of_o it_o be_v coal_n of_o fire_n mean_v that_o even_o as_o fire_v where_o it_o once_o catch_v have_v a_o most_o vehement_a flame_n so_o that_o if_o it_o be_v not_o sudden_o quench_v it_o burn_v up_o and_o consume_v all_o thing_n so_o it_o be_v with_o every_o deject_a soul_n when_o once_o it_o begin_v to_o grow_v jealous_a of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o will_v not_o have_v the_o comfort_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o fasten_v upon_o it_o so_o grievous_a a_o thing_n be_v unbelief_n that_o where_o it_o be_v lodge_v it_o burn_v up_o and_o consume_v all_o true_a opinion_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o holy_a word_n therefore_o see_v our_o love_a lord_n jesus_n christ_n out_o of_o his_o wonderful_a care_n and_o love_n to_o we_o to_o strengthen_v we_o in_o our_o faith_n and_o to_o preserve_v we_o from_o this_o dreadful_a and_o bitter_a temptation_n say_v here_o set_v i_o as_o a_o seal_n upon_o thy_o heart_n let_v we_o suffer_v the_o gospel_n to_o make_v a_o impression_n within_o we_o and_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o the_o decree_n of_o heaven_n that_o can_v never_o be_v change_v and_o see_v it_o must_v be_v as_o a_o seal_n also_o upon_o our_o arm_n let_v we_o never_o leave_v till_o we_o be_v able_a to_o find_v out_o the_o true_a mystery_n and_o meaning_n in_o the_o sacrament_n and_o to_o receive_v it_o by_o faith_n and_o see_v his_o love_n be_v so_o strong_a unto_o we_o as_o death_n that_o put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o our_o discomfort_n whatsoever_o let_v we_o never_o question_v his_o favour_n nor_o be_v jealous_a of_o his_o love_n any_o more_o but_o let_v his_o word_n serve_v for_o all_o so_o that_o although_o our_o sin_n and_o temptation_n be_v many_o and_o our_o affliction_n as_o great_a as_o any_o that_o be_v common_a to_o man_n yet_o as_o soon_o as_o we_o humble_v ourselves_o before_o he_o and_o call_v upon_o he_o in_o faith_n and_o confidence_n let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o he_o can_v look_v upon_o we_o not_o when_o affliction_n come_v like_o flood_n that_o will_v seem_v to_o drown_v all_o upon_o a_o sudden_a yet_o they_o can_v drown_v my_o love_n to_o thou_o which_o always_o remain_v one_o and_o the_o same_o these_o word_n be_v write_v on_o purpose_n for_o we_o to_o have_v recourse_n unto_o in_o time_n of_o distress_n that_o when_o satan_n leave_v no_o mean_n unattempted_a but_o use_v all_o his_o skill_n to_o devour_v our_o faith_n we_o may_v overcome_v he_o by_o these_o word_n of_o our_o belove_a by_o lay_v they_o up_o in_o our_o heart_n as_o a_o most_o sure_a and_o certain_a creasure_n now_o because_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n be_v proud_a it_o be_v apt_a to_o make_v a_o objection_n as_o thus_o if_o i_o be_v better_o qualify_v than_o i_o may_v have_v more_o assurance_n of_o christ_n
