sustain_v and_o uphold_v they_o so_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o shrink_v or_o fall_v under_o this_o heavy_a burden_n of_o tribulation_n and_o that_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o good_a time_n for_o a_o testimony_n of_o his_o love_n will_v deliver_v they_o three_o from_o these_o arise_v hope_n that_o have_v have_v experience_n of_o god_n love_n heretofore_o in_o deliver_v of_o they_o they_o be_v thereby_o also_o put_v in_o hope_n that_o his_o love_a care_n over_o they_o be_v not_o now_o end_v but_o shall_v still_o be_v continue_v towards_o they_o and_o four_o this_o hope_n bring_v forth_o a_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o one_o of_o the_o number_n of_o god_n elect_v but_o the_o force_n and_o influence_n of_o his_o flâ—sh_n have_v recourse_n back_o again_o with_o he_o the_o same_o assurance_n for_o the_o time_n seem_v to_o be_v cancel_v and_o clean_o raze_v out_o and_o he_o feel_v not_o the_o joy_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o spirit_n so_o far_o and_o in_o such_o measure_n as_o at_o other_o former_a time_n and_o therefore_o he_o begin_v great_o to_o doubt_v of_o his_o estate_n not_o so_o much_o whether_o he_o have_v a_o faith_n or_o not_o as_o whether_o his_o faith_n be_v a_o true_a faith_n or_o only_o temporary_a and_o for_o a_o time_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o be_v incident_a to_o the_o very_a reprobate_n and_o castawaye_n upon_o which_o doubtfulness_n there_o do_v arise_v oftentimes_o in_o he_o many_o strong_a and_o grievous_a conflict_n and_o that_o so_o much_o the_o rather_o because_o that_o the_o sorrowful_a soul_n be_v not_o well_o instruct_v or_o at_o the_o least_o not_o well_o remember_v the_o nature_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o difference_n of_o true_a faith_n from_o that_o which_o be_v only_o feign_v temporary_a dead_a and_o hypocritical_a and_o withal_o be_v too_o too_o ready_a &_o incline_v to_o suspect_v ever_o the_o worst_a that_o may_v be_v of_o itself_o turn_v every_o motion_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o infirmity_n of_o nature_n to_o be_v so_o many_o reason_n to_o drive_v he_o forward_o to_o despair_v against_o this_o evil_a therefore_o we_o be_v to_o use_v these_o remedy_n first_o the_o man_n which_o doubt_v in_o this_o manner_n of_o his_o faith_n comfort_n mean_n of_o comfort_n and_o the_o truth_n thereof_o be_v to_o consider_v and_o call_v to_o mind_n to_o his_o comfort_n this_o one_o property_n which_o be_v incident_a unto_o true_a faith_n that_o it_o be_v not_o ever_o in_o the_o full_a tide_n but_o sometime_o it_o ebb_v and_o fall_v yea_o and_o that_o full_a low_a neither_o do_v that_o full_a assurance_n and_o inward_a witness_n speak_v so_o plain_o to_o the_o pacify_v of_o the_o heart_n and_o conscience_n but_o sometime_o more_o than_o other_o it_o seem_v to_o give_v a_o more_o cold_a and_o weak_a testimony_n and_o sometime_o none_o at_o all_o for_o though_o this_o testimony_n of_o assurance_n be_v a_o effect_n of_o faith_n as_o have_v be_v say_v yet_o it_o be_v not_o always_o discern_v of_o they_o which_o be_v endue_v with_o it_o no_o though_o it_o have_v be_v sometime_o feel_v and_o perceive_v before_o example_n hereof_o we_o may_v have_v in_o david_n a_o man_n before_o regenerate_v &_o such_o a_o one_o as_o have_v often_o feel_v in_o himself_o this_o inward_a testimony_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o assure_v his_o heart_n that_o he_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o faith_n grow_v in_o he_o so_o weak_a sometime_o and_o the_o flesh_n so_o mighty_o prevail_v that_o as_o one_o utter_o destitute_a of_o this_o joy_n and_o comfort_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o though_o the_o spirit_n have_v utter_o give_v he_o up_o he_o pray_v carnest_o to_o have_v the_o same_o restore_v for_o it_o be_v with_o faith_n as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o moon_n which_o sometime_o give_v her_o full_a light_n and_o sometime_o be_v eclipse_v and_o as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o sun_n which_o sometime_o do_v shine_v in_o his_o full_a strength_n and_o sometime_o be_v shadow_v and_o hide_v under_o cloud_n like_o the_o tree_n that_o sometime_o flourish_v be_v fresh_a and_o green_a and_o sometime_o fade_v again_o seem_v dry_a and_o dead_a as_o blast_v or_o like_o the_o child_n within_o the_o womb_n that_o sometime_o move_v strong_o and_o sometime_o again_o rest_v a_o long_a time_n quiet_a and_o void_a of_o sensible_a and_o apparent_a motion_n now_o as_o it_o be_v against_o reason_n to_o faith_n the_o moon_n be_v darken_v and_o eclipse_v and_o the_o sun_n be_v hide_v and_o shadow_v under_o a_o cloud_n therefore_o there_o be_v no_o moon_n no_o sun_n at_o all_o the_o tree_n be_v dry_a and_o naked_a and_o therefore_o be_v decay_v the_o child_n do_v not_o show_v a_o continual_a and_o apparent_a motion_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v dead_a within_o the_o womb_n so_o it_o be_v very_o absurd_a also_o to_o say_v that_o because_o thy_o faith_n be_v eclipse_v and_o darken_v by_o the_o cloud_n of_o our_o imperfection_n bite_v and_o beat_v with_o the_o outrageousness_n of_o the_o flesh_n lie_v still_o and_o quiet_a without_o her_o wont_a motion_n that_o therefore_o it_o be_v cease_v to_o be_v a_o faith_n or_o be_v no_o faith_n at_o all_o and_o therefore_o this_o reason_n can_v be_v no_o reason_n at_o all_o to_o prove_v the_o nullity_n of_o faith_n unless_o it_o first_o be_v prove_v that_o faith_n do_v always_o increase_v and_o never_o decrease_v and_o that_o have_v once_o bring_v forth_o the_o be_v counterfeit_a false_a and_o temporary_a it_o be_v therefore_o to_o be_v understand_v that_o true_a faith_n may_v be_v discern_v and_o know_v by_o these_o mark_n first_o in_o that_o it_o yield_v at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o though_o not_o always_o this_o sure_a persuasion_n that_o all_o our_o sin_n be_v remit_v and_o forgive_v and_o that_o not_o for_o any_o merit_n or_o desert_n of_o we_o but_o by_o and_o through_o the_o merit_n and_o precious_a bloodshedding_n of_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n second_o upon_o this_o ensue_v or_o rather_o together_o with_o this_o be_v annex_v a_o boldness_n and_o confidence_n to_o approach_v unto_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n rom._n 5._o with_o a_o assurance_n in_o our_o heart_n and_o conscience_n that_o we_o shall_v obtain_v effect_n if_o our_o faith_n be_v a_o true_a faith_n indeed_o do_v then_o show_v forth_o themselves_o in_o some_o measure_n when_o as_o our_o faith_n be_v at_o that_o full_a tide_n though_o faith_n be_v somewhat_o weaken_v they_o seem_v to_o be_v afterward_o lessen_v and_o rebate_v in_o us._n but_o as_o for_o that_o fame_a faith_n it_o can_v make_v this_o application_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o command_v and_o approve_v but_o their_o love_n be_v ground_v upon_o some_o other_o external_a cause_n as_o worldly_a profit_n pleasure_n friend_n fear_v of_o danger_n respect_v to_o please_v some_o person_n care_v to_o purchase_v and_o get_v the_o praise_n and_o commendation_n of_o man_n rather_o than_o of_o god_n and_o such_o like_a or_o else_o because_o they_o see_v that_o thus_o a_o mean_a be_v as_o it_o be_v purchase_v whereby_o they_o may_v the_o better_a cover_n and_o conceal_v their_o sin_n &_o hide_v from_o man_n their_o unjust_a and_o wicked_a life_n and_o thus_o they_o love_v not_o godliness_n for_o itself_o but_o for_o these_o respect_n may_v just_o be_v say_v to_o love_v these_o thing_n rather_o than_o to_o have_v any_o love_n and_o affection_n unto_o goodness_n but_o it_o be_v far_o nay_o clean_a contrary_n in_o the_o true_a servant_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o have_v be_v though_o somewhat_o brief_o touch_v before_o chap._n xiii_o of_o the_o application_n of_o the_o course_n and_o proceed_n of_o the_o same_o as_o he_o have_v in_o all_o age_n even_o from_o the_o beginning_n show_v himself_o a_o serpent_n of_o great_a subtlety_n in_o this_o behalf_n so_o not_o forgetful_a of_o his_o own_o nature_n he_o be_v bold_a even_o here_o to_o show_v himself_o according_o and_o so_o work_v oftentimes_o nay_o too_o too_o oft_o and_o that_o in_o many_o that_o although_o the_o doctrine_n utter_v be_v never_o so_o plain_a never_o so_o profitable_a yet_o he_o so_o handle_v the_o matter_n that_o either_o none_o or_o very_o small_a prdfit_n shall_v be_v take_v thereof_o nay_o he_o so_o compass_v the_o matter_n that_o of_o that_o whereof_o man_n shall_v reap_v profit_n to_o his_o consolation_n be_v cause_v they_o to_o gather_v poison_n to_o their_o utter_a desolation_n and_o to_o the_o furtherance_n of_o this_o his_o purpose_n against_o this_o doctrine_n he_o here_o frame_v a_o dangerous_a objection_n in_o manner_n as_o follow_v object_n i_o confess_v say_v the_o person_n in_o soul_n distress_a that_o the_o doctrine_n which_o you_o have_v deliver_v concern_v faith_n &_o concern_v repentance_n be_v true_a indeed_o your_o discourse_n thereof_o be_v good_a &_o godly_a but_o yet_o you_o yourself_o do_v know_v i_o need_v not_o to_o declare_v it_o unto_o you_o that_o this_o your_o discourse_n of_o these_o two_o point_n be_v a_o further_o and_o of_o god_n hatred_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v so_o in_o thou_o too_o answ_n this_o argument_n can_v hold_v for_o that_o which_o be_v sometime_o so_o will_v neither_o bear_v a_o general_a inference_n nor_o yet_o a_o particular_a or_o a_o special_a conclusion_n if_o a_o man_n shall_v thus_o reason_v the_o sun_n do_v sometime_o harden_v the_o thing_n it_o shine_v upon_o therefore_o it_o be_v true_a yet_o the_o conclusion_n can_v never_o be_v make_v good_a and_o such_o be_v the_o conclusion_n of_o satan_n for_o what_o reason_n i_o pray_v you_o be_v in_o this_o it_o be_v sometime_o so_o and_o therefore_o so_o at_o all_o time_n it_o be_v so_o in_o some_o and_o therefore_o so_o in_o all_o or_o it_o be_v so_o in_o judas_n the_o traitor_n ergo_fw-la it_o be_v so_o in_o peter_n or_o some_o one_o other_o of_o the_o apostle_n as_o though_o that_o which_o be_v affirm_v true_o of_o the_o one_o must_v of_o necessity_n without_o exception_n be_v verify_v of_o another_o let_v satan_n therefore_o first_o prove_v this_o his_o proposition_n to_o be_v general_o true_a that_o be_v that_o these_o affliction_n do_v always_o come_v from_o the_o hatred_n of_o god_n or_o else_o this_o and_o such_o like_a particular_a conclusion_n will_v stand_v he_o in_o no_o stead_n but_o this_o proof_n he_o can_v never_o be_v able_a to_o make_v hold_v he_o therefore_o at_o this_o pinch_n and_o thou_o shall_v to_o thy_o great_a comfort_n have_v a_o notable_a victory_n against_o he_o thus_o thou_o may_v now_o see_v one_o piece_n of_o satan_n malicious_a craftiness_n discover_v which_o he_o use_v in_o this_o reason_n to_o deceive_v man_n afflict_v withal_o but_o yet_o this_o be_v not_o all_o the_o poison_n that_o lurk_v under_o the_o fair_a show_n of_o word_n in_o this_o the_o serpent_n reason_n as_o shall_v anon_o appear_v he_o be_v indeed_o very_o pregnant_a in_o his_o proof_n so_o be_v he_o also_o as_o painful_a and_o plentiful_a in_o his_o misconstruction_n wrest_v all_o to_o his_o own_o purpose_n that_o have_v but_o only_o a_o very_a little_a show_n or_o likelihood_n to_o favour_v the_o cause_n he_o have_v in_o hand_n and_o strive_v to_o prove_v whereupon_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o as_o in_o many_o other_o so_o even_o in_o this_o reason_n also_o he_o very_o slight_o pass_v over_o the_o matter_n by_o the_o crafty_a confusion_n of_o word_n of_o diverse_a signification_n as_o though_o they_o signify_v and_o import_v one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o thing_n and_o therefore_o the_o rather_o and_o soon_o to_o deceive_v either_o thou_o or_o any_o other_o he_o thus_o subtle_o reason_v reason_n satan_n his_o reason_n god_n say_v the_o scripture_n be_v angry_a with_o those_o who_o he_o punish_v and_o therefore_o it_o can_v be_v but_o thou_o be_v hate_v of_o he_o and_o so_o out_o of_o the_o tale_n and_o number_n of_o his_o child_n answ_n this_o be_v no_o doubt_n a_o very_a absurd_a kind_n of_o reason_v and_o argue_v sufficient_o from_o what_o spirit_n it_o proceed_v and_o therefore_o be_v thereafter_o to_o be_v like_v of_o and_o allow_v what_o scripture_n ever_o teach_v thus_o to_o join_v &_o confound_v those_o thing_n together_o which_o god_n have_v distinguish_v can_v the_o wind_n stir_v and_o move_v but_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o tempest_n can_v the_o sun_n be_v dim_v with_o a_o cloud_n but_o it_o must_v utter_o lose_v his_o light_n and_o can_v god_n he_o angry_a and_o displease_v but_o he_o must_v needs_o hate_v and_o final_o cast_v away_o for_o ever_o be_v there_o no_o mean_a to_o be_v have_v none_o easy_o way_n to_o be_v find_v must_v all_o of_o mere_a necessity_n and_o of_o force_n be_v stretch_v on_o the_o rack_n of_o extremity_n indeed_o satan_n will_v have_v it_o so_o and_o thereunto_o go_v about_o by_o this_o his_o subtle_a reason_n to_o persuade_v but_o yet_o god_n spirit_n do_v teach_v we_o far_o otherwise_o that_o god_n show_v himself_o to_o be_v angry_a and_o displease_v with_o many_o of_o his_o servant_n and_o dear_a child_n who_o notwithstanding_o he_o hate_v not_o but_o most_o dear_o love_v that_o he_o oftentimes_o have_v not_o only_o threaten_v but_o also_o actual_o execute_v punishment_n upon_o they_o from_o who_o he_o also_o promise_v that_o he_o will_v not_o take_v away_o his_o mercy_n for_o ever_o this_o doctrine_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n by_o the_o example_n of_o david_n hezechiah_n and_o many_o other_o in_o the_o scripture_n be_v prove_v to_o be_v as_o certain_a as_o that_o which_o be_v most_o certain_a and_o therefore_o even_o in_o this_o point_n as_o in_o all_o his_o other_o satan_n be_v find_v to_o be_v a_o liar_n &_o his_o reason_n to_o be_v of_o no_o force_n for_o that_o so_o subtle_o he_o make_v no_o distinction_n and_o difference_n betwixt_o the_o hatred_n and_o anger_n of_o god_n as_o though_o they_o be_v indifferent_a time_n of_o one_o nature_n and_o of_o one_o signification_n and_o therefore_o if_o in_o any_o place_n he_o find_v these_o affliction_n to_o proceed_v of_o anger_n he_o straightway_o infer_v that_o it_o be_v of_o hatred_n as_o though_o god_n hate_v all_o those_o with_o who_o and_o that_o most_o just_o he_o be_v displease_v which_o be_v not_o so_o as_o have_v be_v show_v god_n in_o some_o sort_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v angry_a with_o his_o child_n and_o in_o anger_n to_o afflict_v and_o punish_v they_o happy_a success_n and_o have_v he_o not_o make_v his_o covenant_n with_o they_o to_o deliver_v and_o save_v they_o out_o of_o these_o extremity_n answ_n answ_n no_o doubt_n he_o have_v thus_o promise_v and_o he_o have_v thus_o covenant_v indeed_o but_o yet_o his_o promise_n and_o covenant_n be_v not_o so_o make_v as_o that_o affliction_n shall_v not_o touch_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n at_o all_o but_o rather_o in_o this_o sense_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o hurt_v or_o overcome_v they_o for_o he_o will_v acquit_v and_o free_v his_o faithful_a servant_n from_o that_o tyrannous_a power_n of_o sin_n and_o death_n what_o be_v this_o which_o you_o say_v do_v you_o think_v then_o that_o death_n and_o sin_n shall_v never_o befall_v unto_o they_o this_o be_v absurd_a indeed_o be_v so_o void_a of_o truth_n we_o see_v the_o contrary_n prove_v by_o experience_n nay_o rather_o this_o be_v prove_v even_o by_o experience_n that_o neither_o sin_n nor_o death_n although_o they_o be_v that_o these_o affliction_n do_v befall_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o second_o that_o it_o be_v of_o necessity_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v so_o for_o proof_n of_o the_o first_o i_o may_v produce_v the_o example_n of_o a_o great_a number_n of_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n as_o noah_n lot_n moses_n job_n david_n daniel_n the_o prophet_n apostle_n and_o the_o faithful_a martyr_n and_o witness_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n but_o forsomuch_o as_o the_o same_o have_v be_v touch_v before_o i_o will_v not_o stay_v hereupon_o the_o second_o have_v a_o necessity_n join_v thereunto_o that_o of_o necessity_n it_o must_v be_v so_o do_v require_v a_o more_o large_a discourse_n &_o further_a proof_n which_o by_o god_n assistance_n shall_v be_v do_v and_o that_o i_o hope_v in_o such_o manner_n as_o that_o the_o truth_n shall_v easy_o appear_v to_o stand_v full_o and_o altogether_o against_o satan_n and_o his_o wicked_a policy_n in_o this_o pain_n take_v i_o may_v urge_v that_o excellent_a say_n of_o the_o apostle_n paul_n 3.12_o 2._o tim._n 3.12_o that_o whosoever_o will_v live_v godly_a in_o christ_n jesus_n must_v suffer_v persecution_n but_o i_o know_v that_o the_o adversary_n will_v be_v very_o carne_a to_o cavil_n against_o i_o and_o take_v exception_n against_o this_o doctrine_n and_o place_n of_o paul_n say_v that_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v of_o any_o punishment_n for_o sin_n as_o those_o affliction_n which_o be_v lay_v upon_o he_o but_o for_o well-doing_n but_o i_o insist_v with_o this_o interrogation_n be_v it_o not_o more_o unlikely_a that_o the_o servant_n of_o christ_n shall_v suffer_v for_o well-doing_n then_o for_o evil_a and_o if_o god_n suffer_v they_o to_o be_v evil_o entreat_v and_o persecute_v of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o even_o then_o when_o they_o do_v well_o how_o much_o more_o shall_v he_o do_v it_o when_o they_o shall_v sin_v and_o offend_v against_o he_o hereunto_o thou_o will_v haply_o answer_v that_o this_o be_v likely_a indeed_o but_o yet_o thou_o find_v most_o common_o the_o example_n of_o the_o great_a misery_n in_o god_n servant_n to_o have_v come_v not_o so_o much_o of_o sin_n as_o in_o the_o repute_v in_o the_o number_n of_o god_n elect_n and_o choose_a this_o reason_n of_o satan_n thus_o amplify_v the_o more_o subtle_o that_o it_o be_v by_o he_o couch_v the_o more_o forcible_o it_o prcuail_v with_o the_o weak_a and_o distress_a soul_n to_o the_o dangerous_a overthrow_n thereof_o for_o whereas_o it_o have_v be_v before_o show_v that_o both_o the_o elect_a and_o reprobate_n be_v in_o deed_n partaker_n of_o affliction_n satan_n by_o this_o his_o reason_n will_v persuade_v that_o the_o continuance_n of_o affliction_n in_o respect_n of_o time_n and_o the_o delay_n use_v of_o god_n in_o show_v forth_o his_o help_n be_v undoubted_a difference_n and_o plain_a mark_n whereby_o the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o may_v very_o easy_o be_v discern_v &_o know_v and_o to_o further_a he_o in_o this_o his_o purpose_n he_o take_v no_o small_a advantage_n of_o the_o imbecility_n and_o weakness_n which_o be_v find_v in_o man_n who_o so_o long_o as_o his_o wound_n be_v but_o fresh_a lively_a and_o justify_v faeith_n and_o that_o therefore_o their_o election_n be_v doubtless_o certain_a an_o i_o sure_a whatsoever_o the_o enemy_n of_o this_o doctrine_n will_v seem_v to_o object_n to_o the_o contrary_n chap._n xxxiii_o how_o the_o faithful_a shall_v know_v that_o they_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n these_o thing_n be_v in_o this_o manner_n set_v down_o for_o the_o better_a quiet_v of_o the_o trouble_a conscience_n it_o now_o remain_v that_o as_o we_o have_v occupy_v ourselves_o in_o point_v out_o the_o mark_n of_o a_o true_a &_o lively_a faith_n so_o likewise_o we_o take_v some_o pain_n to_o syft_n out_o and_o try_v also_o how_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n his_o faithful_a and_o elect_a child_n may_v discern_v and_o know_v that_o they_o have_v that_o testify_a spirit_n of_o adoption_n whereof_o the_o apostle_n speak_v rom._n 8.16_o that_o give_v that_o plain_a and_o evident_a testimony_n unto_o their_o spirit_n that_o they_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n for_o the_o wicked_a and_o reprobate_n in_o some_o sort_n may_v be_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o therefore_o it_o seem_v that_o the_o elect_n in_o this_o point_n may_v be_v easy_o deceive_v and_o mistake_v this_o their_o witness_n two_o thing_n here_o by_o the_o way_n we_o must_v take_v good_a heed_n of_o first_o that_o although_o the_o reprobate_n as_o i_o have_v say_v may_v nature_n and_o essence_n it_o be_v the_o same_o spirit_n that_o work_v in_o the_o distribution_n of_o all_o these_o gift_n both_o to_o the_o elect_a and_o also_o reprobate_n although_o the_o person_n in_o who_o he_o work_v be_v as_o i_o have_v say_v find_v to_o be_v diverse_a see_v then_o that_o the_o case_n stand_v so_o that_o even_o the_o reprobate_n be_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n preserve_v and_o maintain_v or_o else_o it_o be_v such_o as_o concern_v thing_n sensible_a and_o endue_v with_o life_n sense_n and_o motion_n and_o thus_o it_o be_v impart_v unto_o the_o very_a consider_v we_o may_v plain_o see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n of_o no_o difficulty_n for_o the_o person_n regenerate_v to_o make_v a_o true_a difference_n betwixt_o himself_o and_o a_o hypocrite_n perform_v his_o will_n or_o not_o to_o see_v even_o at_o first_o and_o before_o all_o time_n what_o be_v agreeable_a to_o his_o own_o nature_n and_o most_o behooveful_a for_o his_o own_o glory_n this_o be_v most_o certain_a and_o of_o all_o the_o faithful_a to_o be_v receive_v as_o a_o undoubted_a verity_n that_o as_o god_n have_v be_v most_o wise_a and_o prudent_a before_o all_o beginning_n in_o his_o counsel_n and_o decree_n so_o he_o be_v and_o shall_v continue_v most_o powerful_a even_o for_o all_o eternity_n in_o perform_v and_o effect_v of_o the_o same_o wherefore_o since_o the_o election_n of_o every_o one_o of_o god_n faithful_a child_n be_v a_o thing_n so_o certain_a and_o so_o immutable_a that_o it_o can_v never_o change_v and_o since_o it_o be_v also_o prove_v that_o every_o one_o of_o the_o elect_n in_o his_o due_a time_n may_v assure_v himself_o that_o he_o be_v elect_v it_o also_o follow_v of_o necessity_n that_o he_o may_v in_o like_a sort_n assure_v himself_o of_o his_o continuance_n and_o perseverance_n unto_o the_o end_n nay_o i_o add_v further_o that_o he_o ought_v to_o do_v no_o less_o because_o that_o otherwise_o he_o shall_v make_v god_n to_o be_v
