1._o that_o the_o redemption_n of_o the_o world_n be_v a_o great_a work_n than_o the_o creation_n of_o it_o see_v it_o be_v erect_v for_o the_o son_n of_o god_n to_o transact_v that_o glorious_a work_n in_o the_o end_n have_v a_o pre-eminence_n above_o all_o those_o mean_n that_o be_v make_v use_n of_o in_o a_o subserviency_n to_o it_o this_o low_a world_n be_v make_v with_o respect_n to_o it_o where_o the_o foundation_n of_o this_o work_n be_v begin_v and_o lay_v and_o the_o upper_a world_n also_o where_o it_o be_v complete_v and_o finish_v on_o earth_n god_n have_v the_o praise_n of_o it_o begin_v and_o in_o heaven_n it_o shall_v be_v make_v perfect_a and_o if_o the_o angel_n that_o be_v the_o chief_a part_n of_o god_n creation_n be_v make_v and_o appoint_v with_o a_o subserviency_n to_o it_o to_o be_v minister_a spirit_n to_o christ_n and_o to_o the_o heir_n of_o salvation_n heb._n 1._o ult_n much_o more_o than_o sure_a the_o inferior_a part_n of_o it_o and_o when_o all_o the_o elect_n which_o be_v these_o heir_n shall_v be_v inflate_v in_o their_o inheritance_n and_o full_o possess_v of_o it_o then_o come_v the_o dissolution_n upon_o this_o visible_a creation_n as_o have_v then_o serve_v the_o end_n for_o which_o it_o be_v first_o erect_v inference_n 2._o it_o also_o may_v be_v observe_v hence_o how_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n be_v in_o christ_n advance_v to_o the_o top_n of_o god_n creation_n for_o the_o world_n be_v create_v that_o it_o may_v be_v set_v under_o the_o government_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o man._n so_o that_o as_o i_o take_v notice_n before_o of_o its_o advancement_n by_o its_o union_n with_o he_o so_o here_o by_o the_o dominion_n it_o have_v over_o the_o whole_a creation_n by_o virtue_n of_o that_o union_n and_o the_o determination_n of_o god_n therein_o he_o first_o descend_v and_o assume_v our_o nature_n and_o then_o ascend_v and_o carry_v it_o up_o far_o above_o all_o heaven_n principality_n and_o power_n which_o be_v the_o high_a part_n of_o god_n creation_n be_v make_v subject_a to_o he_o 21._o ephes_n 1._o 21._o our_o nature_n be_v advance_v in_o the_o first_o adam_n into_o a_o great_a dominion_n over_o the_o creature_n but_o it_o be_v advance_v high_a in_o the_o second_o adam_n there_o it_o have_v a_o dignity_n upon_o earth_n but_o here_o it_o have_v a_o dignity_n both_o in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n there_o it_o have_v dominion_n over_o the_o creature_n of_o this_o low_a world_n that_o be_v of_o a_o inferior_a nature_n to_o it_o here_o it_o have_v dominion_n over_o the_o angel_n in_o the_o upper_a world_n that_o be_v of_o a_o superior_a nature_n and_o order_n lord_n what_o be_v man_n say_v the_o psalmist_n that_o thou_o be_v mindful_a of_o he_o and_o the_o son_n of_o man_n that_o thou_o visite_a he_o thou_o have_v make_v he_o a_o little_a low_o than_o the_o angel_n thou_o have_v crown_v he_o with_o glory_n and_o honour_n thou_o make_v he_o to_o have_v dominion_n over_o the_o work_v of_o thy_o hand_n thou_o have_v put_v all_o thing_n under_o his_o foot_n and_o the_o psalmist_n have_v respect_n not_o so_o much_o to_o the_o dignity_n of_o man_n nature_n in_o the_o first_o adam_n as_o in_o the_o second_o for_o these_o word_n be_v in_o heb._n 2._o apply_v to_o christ_n and_o the_o dignity_n god_n exalt_v he_o to_o be_v first_o make_v above_o they_o all_o in_o his_o ascend_v the_o upper_a world_n be_v crown_v with_o glory_n and_o honour_n oh_o the_o mysterious_a depth_n of_o wisdom_n and_o goodness_n that_o here_o meet_v together_o in_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n oh_o the_o stupidity_n and_o blindness_n of_o fall_v man_n that_o take_v so_o little_a notice_n of_o these_o great_a work_n of_o god_n with_o respect_n to_o which_o the_o world_n be_v principal_o make_v with_o what_o sacred_a astonishment_n shall_v we_o behold_v these_o counsel_n of_o heaven_n with_o what_o thanks_o giving_n and_o adoration_n shall_v we_o celebrate_v this_o unspeakable_a love_n especial_o if_o we_o consider_v man_n nature_n to_o be_v thus_o advance_v after_o it_o have_v transgress_v the_o law_n of_o its_o creation_n and_o corrupt_v itself_o more_o than_o any_o inferior_a nature_n inference_n 3._o we_o may_v hence_o conclude_v that_o the_o whole_a creation_n be_v make_v for_o christ_n and_o put_v into_o his_o hand_n shall_v be_v manage_v to_o the_o high_a exaltation_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n however_o the_o course_n of_o thing_n may_v run_v for_o a_o while_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o many_o thing_n hide_v out_o of_o our_o sight_n yet_o all_o thing_n will_v at_o last_o mere_a in_o this_o general_a issue_n the_o universal_a end_n of_o all_o thing_n which_o be_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n the_o first_o adam_n be_v make_v and_o place_v upon_o the_o stage_n of_o the_o world_n that_o through_o he_o god_n may_v have_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o creation_n but_o he_o be_v mutable_a fall_v from_o his_o station_n lose_v his_o strength_n and_o so_o can_v not_o serve_v the_o end_n of_o his_o be_v therefore_o god_n have_v now_o put_v all_o thing_n into_o a_o sure_a hand_n and_o his_o glory_n stand_v upon_o a_o sure_a bottom_n for_o he_o that_o be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n be_v likely_a to_o bring_v in_o both_o high_a and_o sure_a glory_n to_o god_n than_o he_o that_o be_v but_o mere_a man._n if_o he_o shall_v fail_v in_o it_o it_o shall_v be_v either_o because_o he_o want_v ability_n which_o can_v be_v because_o he_o make_v all_o thing_n or_o because_o he_o want_v love_n and_o good_a will_n to_o god_n which_o can_v be_v neither_o because_o he_o be_v his_o only_o beget_v son_n and_o see_v the_o work_n of_o man_n redemption_n and_o salvation_n be_v principal_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n when_o he_o make_v the_o world_n as_o that_o work_v
of_o man_n yet_o god_n know_v they_o better_o than_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n yea_o he_o know_v the_o spirit_n itself_o and_o that_o better_a than_o it_o know_v itself_o let_v then_o christian_n walk_v continual_o under_o a_o awful_a sense_n of_o this_o and_o take_v heed_n of_o all_o sin_n because_o it_o be_v all_o know_v especial_o that_o of_o hypocrisy_n a_o hypocrite_n please_v himself_o that_o he_o be_v not_o know_v to_o man_n but_o let_v he_o consider_v that_o he_o be_v know_v to_o his_o own_o conscience_n and_o that_o condemn_v he_o and_o he_o be_v know_v better_o to_o god_n then_o
