strive_v to_o keep_v ourselves_o from_o all_o wilful_a and_o from_o all_o presumptuous_a sin_n our_o conscience_n be_v clear_a notwithstanding_o the_o sin_n of_o daily_a infirmity_n so_o say_v the_o psalmist_n psal_n 19.13_o keep_v back_o thy_o servant_n from_o presumptuous_a sin_n 19.13_o psal_n 19.13_o then_o shall_v i_o be_v upright_o and_o i_o shall_v be_v innocent_a from_o the_o great_a clear_a conscience_n every_o quiet_a conscience_n be_v not_o a_o clear_a conscience_n some_o be_v lull_v asleep_a in_o security_n and_o their_o conscience_n be_v quiet_a mere_o because_o they_o be_v insensible_a it_o may_v be_v they_o have_v so_o harrassed_a and_o waste_v their_o conscience_n by_o dreadful_a sin_n so_o often_o mortal_o wound_v they_o that_o now_o they_o have_v not_o strength_n enough_o to_o become_v quarrelsome_a and_o troublesome_a and_o this_o they_o call_v peace_n indeed_o it_o be_v such_o a_o peace_n as_o galgathus_n reproach_n the_o roman_n with_o in_o tacitus_n when_o they_o have_v lay_v all_o waist_n than_o they_o call_v it_o peace_n so_o these_o sinner_n think_v they_o have_v good_a peaceable_a conscience_n because_o they_o do_v not_o menace_v torment_n and_o worry_v they_o and_o alas_o how_o can_v they_o their_o conscience_n be_v murder_v there_o be_v no_o sense_n nor_o life_n leave_v in_o they_o this_o be_v no_o peace_n but_o a_o mere_a solitude_n and_o desolation_n of_o conscience_n and_o yet_o believe_v it_o too_o these_o quiet_a and_o peaceable_a conscience_n will_v not_o be_v long_o so_o at_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n or_o if_o not_o then_o the_o next_o moment_n after_o death_n these_o peaceable_a conscience_n will_v be_v startle_v out_o of_o their_o sleep_n and_o with_o fearful_a screeche_n fly_v in_o their_o face_n and_o roar_v so_o loud_o that_o heaven_n and_o hell_n shall_v hear_v they_o as_o in_o still_a wether_n many_o time_n matter_n be_v gather_v for_o a_o storm_n so_o while_o conscience_n seem_v so_o still_o and_o quiet_a it_o be_v only_o gather_v matter_n for_o a_o tempest_n that_o will_v one_o day_n pour_v upon_o your_o head_n and_o o_o how_o grievous_a will_v it_o be_v when_o those_o conscience_n that_o never_o give_v they_o a_o ill_a word_n before_o shall_v on_o a_o sudden_a drag_v they_o before_o the_o tribunal_n of_o god_n and_o there_o bitter_o accuse_v they_o of_o those_o horrid_a sin_n that_o once_o they_o seem_v to_o take_v no_o notice_n of_o and_o call_v for_o the_o severe_a execution_n of_o divine_a wrath_n and_o vengeance_n upon_o they_o and_o possible_o many_o that_o speak_v of_o the_o peace_n of_o into_o dreadful_a and_o terrible_a crack_n so_o a_o man_n may_v have_v a_o rumble_a and_o a_o grumble_a conscience_n a_o conscience_n that_o may_v murmur_v and_o school_n upon_o he_o and_o yet_o he_o may_v carry_v it_o as_o if_o all_o be_v calm_a and_o serene_a with_o he_o however_o though_o all_o within_o may_v be_v quiet_a yet_o a_o quiet_a conscience_n may_v be_v a_o pollute_a conscience_n as_o a_o stand_a puddle_n may_v be_v as_o foul_a as_o the_o rage_a sea_n when_o it_o cast_v out_o its_o mire_n and_o filth_n conscience_n 2._o every_o trouble_a conscience_n be_v not_o a_o evil_a conscience_n second_o as_o every_o quiet_a conscience_n be_v not_o a_o clear_a conscience_n so_o every_o trouble_a conscience_n be_v not_o a_o evil_a conscience_n hypocrite_n and_o wicked_a man_n may_v indeed_o and_o do_v often_o so_o judge_n will_v god_n ever_o suffer_v such_o strange_a terror_n to_o seize_v upon_o man_n be_v they_o not_o notorious_a sinner_n as_o those_o barbarian_n at_o malta_n speak_v of_o in_o the_o act_n when_o they_o see_v the_o viper_n fasten_v upon_o the_o apostle_n hand_n present_o they_o conclude_v that_o he_o be_v some_o wicked_a person_n who_o divine_a
