god_n if_o we_o love_v his_o child_n as_o in_o john_n 5._o he_o that_o love_v he_o that_o beget_v will_v love_v he_o that_o be_v beget_v if_o then_o we_o find_v in_o our_o heart_n a_o good_a affection_n unto_o christian_n because_o they_o be_v christian_n how_o beneficial_a or_o not_o beneficial_a to_o we_o that_o be_v nothing_o whether_o they_o take_v notice_n of_o we_o or_o pass_v by_o we_o that_o be_v not_o the_o matter_n but_o if_o they_o be_v such_o that_o love_n god_n word_n and_o have_v the_o virtue_n of_o christ_n shine_v forth_o in_o their_o heart_n if_o love_n and_o patience_n and_o temperance_n &_o meekness_n &_o such_o like_a do_v appear_v in_o they_o if_o we_o love_v these_o this_o be_v a_o undoubted_a testimony_n of_o our_o true_a love_n to_o god_n the_o he_o come_v to_o us._n for_o if_o our_o hart_n be_v set_v true_o upon_o any_o thing_n that_o thing_n we_o can_v choose_v but_o desire_n and_o be_v willing_a to_o have_v it_o with_o us._n love_n draw_v the_o mind_n to_o that_o which_o be_v love_v so_o paul_n when_o the_o love_n of_o god_n wax_v warm_a in_o his_o hart_n he_o desire_v to_o be_v dissolve_v and_o to_o be_v with_o christ_n so_o in_o the_o revelation_n the_o spirit_n and_o the_o church_n and_o the_o bride_n and_o all_o say_v come_v lord_n come_v quick_o and_o in_o the_o natural_a marriage_n in_o which_o the_o love_n be_v much_o more_o weak_a and_o slender_a yet_o this_o be_v manifest_a for_o if_o the_o wife_n love_v her_o husband_n when_o he_o be_v go_v far_o off_o she_o will_v be_v desirous_a of_o his_o return_n and_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o have_v his_o company_n if_o this_o be_v so_o in_o the_o natural_a marriage_n where_o there_o be_v many_o infirmity_n and_o cross_n yet_o they_o do_v wish_v for_o the_o company_n one_o of_o another_o how_o much_o more_o in_o the_o spiritual_a marriage_n where_o there_o be_v such_o perfection_n now_o in_o the_o one_o party_n as_o he_o be_v full_a of_o love_n and_o mercy_n and_o also_o shall_v free_v the_o other_o party_n from_o all_o misery_n and_o want_n and_o infirmity_n when_o they_o shall_v be_v join_v full_o together_o and_o fill_v they_o full_a of_o all_o virtue_n and_o grace_n in_o this_o marriage_n i_o say_v how_o can_v one_o choose_v but_o long_o after_o this_o perfect_a and_o happy_a meeting_n how_o can_v he_o stay_v himself_o that_o have_v any_o the_o child_n reward_v it_o with_o a_o true_a hatred_n so_o he_o that_o will_v not_o offend_v his_o friend_n nor_o trouble_v he_o with_o tell_v he_o of_o his_o fault_n but_o rather_o smooth_v up_o grow_v and_o therefore_o also_o the_o image_n of_o god_n will_v grow_v more_o lively_a till_o we_o be_v make_v perfect_a and_o absolute_a in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v the_o next_o duty_n be_v love._n that_o we_o must_v love_v god_n withal_o our_o heart_n and_o all_o our_o soul_n as_o be_v command_v luke_n 10._o the_o reason_n be_v because_o he_o be_v that_o jehovah_n in_o who_o we_o live_v we_o move_v and_o have_v our_o be_v he_o be_v our_o god_n that_o give_v we_o all_o good_a thing_n and_o can_v only_o free_v we_o from_o all_o sin_n and_o misery_n therefore_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o love_v they_o at_o all_o these_o thing_n who_o so_o can_v find_v in_o himself_o he_o love_v god_n and_o obey_v this_o commandment_n though_o not_o in_o perfection_n for_o no_o man_n can_v in_o his_o nature_n summon_v their_o wicked_a heart_n and_o draw_v they_o before_o god_n judgement_n seat_n &_o make_v they_o therefore_o not_o love_v god_n word_n and_o ministry_n but_o hate_v it_o &_o cast_v off_o all_o care_n of_o godliness_n and_o religion_n from_o they_o but_o it_o be_v true_a that_o whosoever_o love_v god_n can_v choose_v but_o in_o the_o same_o measure_n also_o fear_v he_o for_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o persuade_v they_o of_o his_o favour_n and_o work_v love_n will_v declare_v his_o power_n and_o greatness_n which_o will_v work_v a_o fear_n and_o awe_n of_o he_o it_o cast_v out_o the_o hellish_a fear_n that_o make_v one_o fly_v from_o god_n but_o it_o cause_v that_o holy_a fear_n that_o make_v one_o more_o careful_a to_o come_v unto_o he_o and_o to_o worship_v he_o we_o draw_v we_o unto_o he_o but_o terrifieng_v our_o heart_n from_o commit_v all_o evil_a it_o must_v be_v a_o fear_n mingle_v with_o love_n and_o confidence_n that_o must_v be_v holy_a and_o crucify_v a_o strong_a god_n as_o the_o word_n signify_v and_o his_o will_n that_o he_o be_v a_o jealous_a god_n the_o similitude_n be_v take_v from_o a_o jealous_a husband_n that_o can_v abide_v no_o light_a behaviour_n of_o his_o wife_n but_o he_o will_v be_v revenge_v on_o it_o so_o god_n can_v endure_v that_o any_o one_o that_o be_v he_o shall_v once_o look_v to_o image_n or_o superstition_n for_o if_o any_o do_v as_o by_o reason_n of_o his_o strength_n he_o be_v able_a so_o he_o be_v willing_a also_o to_o revenge_v it_o on_o the_o son_n and_o son_n son_n to_o the_o four_o generation_n of_o such_o as_o do_v it_o the_o second_o reason_n be_v take_v from_o the_o reward_n that_o god_n will_v bestow_v upon_o all_o such_o as_o worship_v he_o pure_o hate_v idolatry_n and_o false_a worship_n that_o he_o will_v not_o only_o bless_v they_o but_o they_o to_o a_o thousand_o never_o forget_v to_o show_v mercy_n unto_o those_o that_o worship_v he_o pure_o so_o that_o all_o their_o posterity_n shall_v disdainful_a face_n and_o overcrow_v every_o man_n and_o care_n for_o no_o man_n scorn_v their_o better_n and_o prefer_v themselves_o before_o all_o then_o forsooth_o they_o be_v man_n of_o some_o name_n they_o shall_v be_v account_v of_o &_o they_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v look_v after_o that_o think_v to_o get_v credit_n by_o contemn_v every_o body_n and_o to_o be_v have_v in_o account_n by_o make_v no_o account_n of_o any_o one_o this_o be_v these_o courage_n this_o be_v their_o valour_n and_o they_o have_v nothing_o to_o grace_v themselves_o but_o this_o kind_n of_o rudeness_n but_o in_o the_o fault_n be_v so_o much_o the_o worse_a because_o it_o always_o hurt_v three_o at_o once_o this_o blow_n always_o make_v three_o wound_n at_o one_o time_n he_o wound_v the_o soul_n of_o he_o to_o who_o he_o tell_v the_o false_a tale_n for_o as_o we_o shall_v hear_v after_o the_o receiver_n be_v in_o a_o great_a fault_n therefore_o he_o have_v one_o deadly_a blow_n the_o second_o stroke_n light_n on_o the_o name_n and_o reputation_n of_o the_o party_n thus_o slander_v &_o backebitten_a for_o his_o name_n have_v a_o scar_n in_o the_o account_n of_o the_o hearer_n the_o last_o and_o worst_a and_o great_a blow_n he_o give_v his_o own_o soul_n when_o he_o infect_v it_o with_o slander_n and_o make_v his_o conscience_n guilty_a of_o a_o lie_n these_o three_o mortal_a wound_n this_o lie_a tongue_n like_o a_o pierce_a sword_n make_v at_o one_o time_n indeed_o he_o escape_v best_a who_o be_v false_o slander_v for_o he_o be_v innocent_a god_n will_v heal_v his_o name_n and_o bring_v forth_o he_o but_o the_o other_o two_o wound_n be_v more_o dangerous_a because_o they_o light_v upon_o the_o soul_n and_o more_o hard_a to_o be_v cure_v because_o they_o be_v altogether_o sin_n therefore_o it_o stand_v every_o man_n upon_o that_o he_o raise_v up_o no_o unjust_a report_n against_o any_o man_n now_o the_o best_a way_n to_o keep_v himself_o against_o slander_v be_v to_o make_v a_o covenant_n with_o his_o own_o foul_a and_o to_o vow_n in_o himself_o not_o to_o speak_v often_o of_o other_o man_n fault_n for_o he_o that_o give_v his_o tongue_n liberty_n to_o be_v busy_v about_o this_o subject_n it_o can_v be_v avoid_v but_o that_o he_o shall_v slip_v to_o far_o
