i_o get_v provision_n for_o the_o next_o year_n or_o what_o if_o ill_a weather_n come_v and_o so_o many_o doubt_n but_o they_o be_v merry_a and_o fresh_a and_o think_v not_o of_o these_o matter_n but_o make_v account_n that_o their_o father_n will_v see_v they_o provide_v for_o and_o will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o want_v any_o thing_n and_o therefore_o when_o they_o need_v they_o go_v to_o excellency_n over_o all_o his_o creature_n this_o will_v strike_v his_o hart_n with_o a_o wonderful_a reverence_n &_o a_o great_a fear_n of_o his_o majesty_n as_o also_o he_o that_o know_v god_n power_n that_o he_o can_v do_v what_o he_o will_v and_o his_o mercy_n that_o he_o will_v do_v what_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o good_a of_o his_o child_n this_o will_v make_v he_o trust_v whole_o in_o god_n but_o for_o this_o fear_n a_o objection_n must_v first_o be_v answer_v for_o 1._o john_n 4._o he_o say_v perfect_a love_n cast_v out_o fear_n and_o luke_n 1._o we_o be_v deliver_v from_o all_o love_v god_n but_o they_o hate_v god_n for_o this_o be_v as_o if_o a_o wife_n shall_v say_v indeed_o in_o my_o husband_n absence_n i_o must_v have_v another_o man_n to_o keep_v i_o company_n and_o to_o lie_v with_o i_o and_o to_o be_v familiar_a with_o i_o but_o yet_o i_o love_v my_o husband_n the_o husband_n nor_o any_o man_n else_o will_v account_v final_o of_o this_o love_n yea_o they_o course_n such_o a_o parent_n be_v a_o most_o mortal_a foe_n as_o often_o the_o child_n feel_v afterward_o and_o according_o do_v recompense_v for_o they_o hate_v they_o with_o a_o false_a love_n but_o the_o child_n reward_v it_o with_o a_o true_a hatred_n so_o he_o that_o will_v not_o offend_v his_o friend_n nor_o trouble_v he_o with_o tell_v he_o of_o his_o fault_n but_o rather_o smooth_v up_o all_o and_o flatter_v he_o and_o speak_v fair_a word_n he_o be_v a_o grievous_a enemy_n and_o yet_o who_o be_v there_o almost_o that_o do_v not_o delight_n in_o such_o enemy_n and_o make_v more_o of_o they_o and_o esteem_v they_o more_o welcome_a than_o a_o true_a faithful_a friend_n that_o seek_v his_o soul_n health_n and_o will_v not_o suffer_v he_o to_o fling_v himself_o headlong_o into_o wickedness_n grow_v so_o fast_o and_o sin_n get_v up_o with_o a_o high_a hand_n and_o youth_n grow_v to_o such_o impudent_a and_o shameless_a boldness_n because_o the_o minister_n fight_v alone_o against_o sin_n none_o else_o will_v open_v his_o mouth_n to_o speak_v against_o it_o or_o discountenance_v it_o he_o that_o will_v not_o stand_v by_o and_o see_v the_o ox_n fall_v into_o the_o ditch_n but_o he_o will_v help_v he_o out_o will_v look_v on_o while_n the_o child_n run_v headlong_o towards_o hell_n and_o say_v not_o a_o word_n to_o reclaim_v they_o this_o remisenesse_n of_o man_n that_o be_v of_o some_o estimation_n in_o the_o town_n make_v proud_a youth_n oft_o time_n so_o audacious_a to_o set_v themselves_o open_o against_o the_o minister_n doctrine_n and_o as_o it_o be_v by_o their_o practice_n in_o the_o heat_n of_o lust_n to_o contrary_v he_o even_o when_o he_o be_v reprove_v any_o sin_n when_o the_o doctrine_n be_v yet_o hot_a and_o the_o sound_n of_o his_o voice_n be_v scarce_o go_v out_o of_o their_o ear_n then_o to_o run_v open_o to_o gainsay_v that_o which_o be_v teach_v in_o the_o church_n so_o soon_o as_o they_o come_v out_o of_o the_o church_n this_o strength_n of_o impiety_n proceed_v hence_o i_o say_v that_o the_o minister_n have_v no_o help_n none_o have_v a_o zeal_n of_o god_n glory_n so_o that_o he_o be_v grieve_v at_o his_o dishonour_n none_o have_v so_o much_o charity_n and_o compassion_n over_o their_o neighbour_n as_o that_o they_o seek_v to_o pull_v they_o out_o of_o the_o danger_n of_o hell_n fire_n for_o if_o but_o two_o or_o three_o or_o some_o more_o of_o the_o ancient_a man_n that_o have_v some_o authority_n and_o sway_n in_o the_o congregation_n will_v join_v their_o hand_n with_o the_o minister_n and_o set_v in_o with_o their_o private_a rebuke_n and_o reproof_n to_o make_v his_o public_a reproof_n forcible_a young_a people_n will_v be_v more_o ashamed_a of_o sin_n and_o learn_v to_o behave_v themselves_o more_o sober_o then_o in_o public_a as_o it_o be_v to_o bid_v battle_n to_o the_o public_a doctrine_n of_o the_o minister_n therefore_o this_o slackness_n and_o coldness_n be_v much_o to_o be_v reprove_v then_o second_o this_o be_v for_o the_o encouragement_n of_o such_o as_o do_v desire_n to_o help_v other_o out_o of_o this_o or_o any_o other_o sin_n they_o may_v bold_o with_o a_o ministry_n and_o if_o this_o duty_n be_v careful_o perform_v persecuter_n will_v not_o be_v so_o bold_a and_o audacious_a to_o molest_v and_o trouble_v the_o minister_n and_o faithful_a man_n of_o god_n as_o they_o be_v but_o it_o come_v oft_o so_o to_o pass_v that_o though_o the_o minister_n be_v in_o all_o thing_n faithful_a to_o his_o power_n and_o bear_v such_o a_o love_n unto_o his_o people_n as_o that_o he_o will_v part_v with_o his_o blood_n to_o do_v they_o good_a yet_o let_v but_o some_o vild_a person_n of_o a_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a life_n as_o indeed_o the_o devil_n never_o lack_v such_o instrument_n to_o vex_v god_n minister_n let_v some_o but_o base_a limb_n of_o the_o devil_n step_v forth_o to_o set_v himself_o against_o the_o minister_n and_o to_o persecute_v he_o many_o in_o the_o congregation_n will_v be_v ready_a to_o join_v with_o he_o and_o have_v their_o hand_n in_o as_o deep_a as_o any_o but_o other_o of_o the_o better_a sort_n have_v no_o courage_n to_o stand_v for_o he_o and_o to_o defend_v his_o good_a cause_n many_o think_v they_o do_v not_o break_v the_o five_o commandment_n and_o yet_o know_v that_o god_n have_v say_v that_o he_o that_o labour_v in_o doctrine_n be_v worthy_a of_o double_a honour_n yet_o when_o will_v they_o speak_v well_o of_o the_o minister_n when_o will_v they_o open_v their_o mouth_n in_o his_o defence_n but_o be_v ready_a to_o say_v it_o be_v his_o indiscretion_n he_o be_v to_o hasty_a and_o unaduised_a he_o may_v have_v keep_v himself_o quiet_v and_o thus_o either_o because_o they_o be_v dastardly_a and_o dare_v not_o or_o malicious_a and_o will_v not_o almost_o none_o can_v be_v find_v that_o will_v stand_v in_o the_o maintenance_n of_o their_o faithful_a minister_n against_o the_o fury_n and_o of_o who_o he_o have_v receive_v many_o benefit_n no_o man_n almost_o be_v so_o cowardly_a and_o base_a mind_v but_o if_o he_o hear_v one_o rail_v upon_o he_o and_o abuse_v he_o he_o will_v take_v courage_n to_o speak_v for_o he_o and_o for_o his_o credit_n but_o who_o almost_o can_v be_v find_v of_o many_o in_o a_o parish_n that_o can_v afford_v a_o good_a word_n for_o the_o minister_n nay_o be_v not_o most_o of_o this_o mind_n that_o if_o he_o be_v molest_v all_o be_v lose_v that_o fall_v beside_o thus_o much_o for_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o people_n the_o minister_n particular_a duty_n follow_v the_o first_o be_v to_o be_v a_o good_a example_n and_o pattern_n unto_o they_o in_o love_n in_o faith_n in_o patience_n and_o in_o every_o good_a duty_n as_o 1._o tim._n 4._o 12._o let_v they_o may_v say_v physician_n heal_v thyself_o and_o pull_v out_o the_o beam_n out_o of_o thy_o own_o eye_n thou_o hypocrite_n &_o this_o will_v make_v all_o his_o preach_v fruitless_o &_o vain_a out_o of_o season_n to_o feed_v the_o flock_n diligent_o and_o faithful_o to_o intend_v and_o take_v heed_n to_o such_o wholesome_a doctrine_n as_o may_v nourish_v the_o soul_n of_o his_o people_n to_o divide_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n aright_o to_o speak_v to_o the_o capacity_n and_o conscience_n of_o his_o people_n in_o all_o diligence_n &_o faithfulness_n not_o make_v merchandise_n of_o
