before_o they_o and_o that_o which_o be_v most_o fearful_a thy_o good_a hand_n be_v not_o wiâ—h_v those_o prophet_n which_o be_v amongst_o they_o who_o do_v sow_v indeed_o but_o the_o earth_n give_v not_o her_o increase_n they_o water_n but_o thy_o plant_n rise_v not_o in_o any_o number_n they_o feed_v but_o thy_o flock_n be_v poor_a not_o fat_a nor_o beautiful_a o_o let_v the_o lord_n forget_v the_o sin_n of_o his_o people_n why_o have_v he_o bind_v they_o upon_o his_o hand_n to_o look_v upon_o they_o for_o ever_o why_o have_v he_o set_v they_o day_n and_o night_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o of_o manasses_n and_o those_o that_o laugh_v at_o and_o hinder_v &_o draw_v back_o this_o work_n let_v they_o be_v ashamed_a and_o confound_v and_o all_o thy_o marvellous_a blessiing_n be_v show_v in_o the_o success_n thereof_o but_o let_v they_o have_v no_o force_n nor_o strength_n to_o hinder_v it_o so_o shall_v jacob_n rejoice_v in_o thy_o mercy_n and_o israel_n in_o thy_o everlasting_a righteous_a will_n and_o cast_v up_o daily_a mist_n to_o dim_v the_o eye_n of_o my_o faith_n that_o i_o can_v so_o clear_o discern_v the_o light_n of_o thy_o countenance_n yea_o sometime_o so_o lead_v i_o captive_a into_o sin_n that_o i_o be_o many_o time_n to_o seek_v of_o the_o sense_n of_o thy_o love_n i_o be_o many_o time_n put_v to_o question_v the_o truth_n of_o my_o faith_n and_o to_o distrust_v myself_o whether_o i_o have_v any_o faith_n or_o no._n for_o alas_o lord_n i_o must_v needs_o confess_v to_o thy_o glory_n that_o although_o thou_o command_v i_o to_o believe_v perfect_o in_o thy_o son_n and_o to_o be_v strong_a in_o faith_n yet_o i_o find_v on_o the_o other_o side_n such_o strength_n of_o corruption_n prevail_a over_o i_o and_o command_v i_o forcible_o to_o give_v way_n thereunto_o and_o so_o not_o only_o interrupt_v the_o sense_n of_o thy_o love_n unto_o i_o but_o also_o challenge_v my_o love_n unto_o thou_o that_o i_o be_o force_v many_o time_n to_o fear_n whether_o i_o be_o lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n true_o of_o faith_n or_o no_o whether_o ever_o thy_o love_n be_v shed_v abroad_o in_o my_o heart_n if_o ever_o i_o love_v thou_o in_o truth_n see_v it_o seem_v unto_o i_o that_o my_o love_n unto_o sin_n be_v not_o altogether_o quench_v nay_o i_o feel_v the_o power_n of_o corruption_n carry_v i_o so_o violent_o after_o the_o lust_n of_o my_o heart_n that_o as_o i_o find_v myself_o less_o cheerful_a and_o constant_a in_o thy_o service_n so_o on_o the_o other_o side_n i_o sometime_o find_v myself_o less_o able_a to_o resist_v temptation_n more_o apt_a and_o inclinable_a to_o such_o lust_n which_o heretofore_o i_o have_v subdue_v yea_o often_o more_o foul_o overcome_v and_o foil_v by_o they_o what_o shall_v i_o say_v unto_o thou_o o_o thou_o searcher_n of_o my_o heart_n and_o preserver_n of_o my_o soul_n do_v thou_o not_o see_v how_o cold_a sometime_o i_o be_o in_o prayer_n how_o dull_a in_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n how_o careless_a of_o thy_o sabbath_n how_o unconscionable_a and_o negligent_a in_o my_o call_n how_o rebellious_a and_o inordinate_a in_o my_o affection_n o_o how_o often_o have_v i_o greeve_v thy_o holy_a spirit_n by_o neglect_v the_o good_a motion_n thereof_o yea_o many_o time_n willing_o cross_v the_o same_o and_o entertain_v contrary_a suggestion_n of_o my_o cruel_a enemy_n how_o careless_a have_v i_o be_v to_o examaine_v my_o heart_n and_o renew_v my_o covenant_n with_o thou_o how_o deceitful_a or_o careless_a in_o break_v often_o my_o vow_n which_o i_o have_v make_v unto_o thou_o against_o special_a corruption_n for_o renuw_v of_o decay_a grace_n o_o how_o often_o have_v i_o be_v ready_a to_o give_v way_n to_o such_o curse_a thought_n of_o blasphemy_n and_o fearful_a impiety_n which_o may_v even_o quench_v thy_o spirit_n &_o lead_v to_o the_o dispight_v thereof_o how_o have_v i_o sometime_o be_v ready_a to_o violate_v my_o conscience_n by_o rush_v on_o desperate_a evil_n yea_o how_o fearful_o have_v i_o wound_v the_o same_o by_o commit_v gross_a sin_n and_o to_o make_v up_o the_o measure_n of_o my_o misery_n how_o have_v i_o harden_v my_o heart_n by_o sleep_v in_o sin_n and_o neglect_v the_o save_a mean_n of_o deep_a humiliation_n to_o awaken_v i_o to_o repentance_n alas_o lord_n thou_o know_v full_a well_o that_o though_o thou_o have_v follow_v i_o with_o many_o secret_a and_o open_a affliction_n to_o rouse_v i_o out_o of_o this_o sleep_n of_o security_n yet_o either_o it_o have_v prove_v but_o a_o dream_n and_o so_o i_o have_v fall_v asleep_a again_o or_o if_o my_o less_o delight_n in_o holy_a duty_n less_o life_n in_o prayer_n less_o conscience_n in_o the_o word_n more_o slight_n in_o my_o call_n more_o distraction_n in_o my_o reckon_n and_o more_o confusion_n in_o my_o spirit_n yet_o still_o o_o lord_n i_o hear_v a_o voice_n behind_o i_o say_v this_o be_v the_o way_n walk_v in_o it_o yet_o still_o i_o find_v thy_o hand_n over_o i_o to_o stay_v i_o from_o sink_v still_o my_o better_a advise_a heart_n tell_v i_o it_o be_v better_a with_o i_o former_o then_o now_o when_o i_o have_v comfort_n in_o thy_o presence_n and_o conscience_n in_o thy_o ordinance_n still_o thy_o spirit_n be_v ready_a to_o revive_v i_o with_o hope_n that_o i_o may_v recover_v again_o and_o my_o hope_n be_v confirm_v hereby_o that_o the_o mean_n be_v still_o offer_v i_o and_o i_o of_o this_o thy_o great_a kindness_n and_o open_v our_o mouth_n we_o beseech_v thou_o that_o we_o declare_v this_o thy_o goodness_n for_o the_o comfort_n of_o other_o that_o by_o this_o lively_a repay_v unto_o thou_o worthy_a of_o so_o great_a salvation_n we_o confess_v ourselves_o unworthy_a to_o ask_v much_o less_o to_o obtain_v for_o ourselves_o &_o yet_o behold_v thou_o have_v hear_v our_o cry_n and_o relieve_v this_o thy_o desolate_a servant_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o that_o thou_o have_v give_v ease_n and_o deliverance_n to_o the_o mother_n unless_o also_o thou_o do_v live_v to_o her_o babe_n that_o so_o in_o it_o her_o life_n may_v be_v again_o receive_v yea_o thou_o have_v make_v our_o cup_n to_o run_v over_o with_o joy_n and_o gladness_n who_o be_v almost_o overwhelm_v with_o sorrow_n and_o despair_n thou_o o_o lord_n be_v the_o only_a glory_n and_o praise_v hereof_o o_o fill_v our_o heart_n with_o thankfulness_n that_o our_o rejoice_a may_v be_v in_o truth_n and_o for_o our_o dissolution_n when_o all_o tear_n shall_v be_v wipe_v from_o our_o eye_n and_o let_v our_o desire_n to_o be_v with_o thou_o make_v we_o always_o ready_a for_o thou_o in_o all_o sobriety_n modesty_n humility_n patience_n and_o perseverance_n that_o so_o we_o may_v be_v find_v faithful_a when_o our_o master_n come_v and_o that_o we_o may_v be_v find_v in_o peace_n at_o his_o glorious_a appearance_n o_o grant_v we_o daily_o to_o deny_v ourselves_o that_o still_o we_o may_v be_v find_v of_o thou_o in_o the_o righteousness_n of_o our_o saviour_n may_v by_o the_o power_n thereof_o be_v daily_o accept_v of_o thou_o by_o the_o efficacy_n of_o the_o same_o may_v be_v more_o and_o more_o conform_v to_o thy_o holy_a image_n and_o so_o may_v at_o length_n be_v full_o satisfy_v therewith_o fatherly_a rod_n whereby_o thou_o mind_v to_o let_v i_o see_v that_o of_o myself_o i_o have_v no_o strength_n unto_o goodness_n but_o that_o it_o be_v thou_o who_o by_o thy_o abundant_a mercy_n have_v before_o time_n replenish_v my_o heart_n with_o joy_n that_o i_o take_v great_a pleasure_n and_o comfort_n in_o read_v and_o hear_v thy_o holy_a word_n and_o receive_v other_o benefit_n which_o
