into_o question_n consider_v that_o as_o thou_o can_v not_o have_v a_o friend_n if_o thou_o be_v suspicious_a and_o jealous_a of_o his_o love_n to_o thou_o so_o thou_o can_v never_o have_v the_o love_n of_o god_n settle_v on_o thy_o heart_n so_o long_o as_o thou_o be_v jealous_a of_o his_o love_n to_o thou_o four_o if_o thou_o root_v they_o not_o out_o it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v that_o they_o will_v bring_v thou_o to_o despair_v melancholy_n thought_n and_o fear_n and_o discouragement_n drive_v the_o soul_n to_o despair_v for_o when_o the_o soul_n see_v itself_o still_o disappoint_v of_o its_o hope_n at_o the_o last_o it_o grow_v hopeless_a if_o it_o have_v wait_v one_o day_n and_o the_o next_o day_n too_o if_o it_o have_v pray_v this_o week_n this_o month_n this_o year_n and_o yet_o still_o it_o see_v itself_o hold_v off_o and_o disappoint_v it_o will_v at_o last_o grow_v hopeless_a take_v heed_n therefore_o i_o beseech_v you_o of_o all_o needless_a discouragement_n to_o fear_v because_o that_o thou_o find_v not_o that_o that_o thou_o wish_v or_o pray_v for_o to_o day_n or_o to_o morrow_n in_o thy_o own_o time_n that_o therefore_o thou_o shall_v never_o get_v it_o that_o word_n that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o this_o for_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v instruct_v by_o holiness_n humble_v by_o holiness_n convert_v by_o holiness_n at_o the_o last_o when_o it_o come_v to_o be_v thorough_o awaken_v when_o it_o see_v that_o this_o and_o this_o be_v require_v in_o a_o true_a conversion_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o god_n that_o herein_o true_a repentance_n must_v declare_v and_o demonstrate_v itself_o by_o these_o and_o these_o fruit_n or_o else_o it_o be_v but_o false_a and_o rot_a why_o now_o the_o soul_n must_v needs_o be_v bring_v to_o despair_v because_o it_o see_v that_o though_o it_o have_v be_v thus_o and_o thus_o humble_v though_o it_o have_v pray_v fast_v and_o mourn_v in_o this_o and_o this_o manner_n yet_o it_o see_v it_o have_v not_o a_o soundesse_n of_o grace_n there_o be_v such_o a_o grace_n in_o it_o such_o a_o work_n and_o such_o a_o fruit_n of_o god_n spirit_n in_o it_o that_o yet_o he_o can_v never_o find_v in_o himself_o this_o make_v the_o soul_n to_o despair_v indeed_o preacher_n may_v be_v to_o blame_v if_o they_o speak_v and_o preach_v only_o the_o terror_n and_o condemnation_n of_o the_o law_n without_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o these_o shall_v be_v so_o temper_v that_o every_o poor_a break_a soul_n may_v see_v mercy_n and_o redemption_n for_o he_o upon_o his_o sound_n and_o unfeigned_a repentance_n and_o humiliation_n but_o if_o man_n do_v despair_n they_o may_v thank_v themselves_o for_o it_o their_o own_o sin_n for_o it_o their_o own_o discouragement_n for_o it_o because_o they_o suffer_v these_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n profit_v he_o nothing_o that_o his_o prayer_n be_v dead_a and_o vain_a that_o his_o mourning_n fast_a and_o all_o his_o humiliation_n be_v counterfeit_a and_o rot_a and_o that_o he_o have_v no_o soundness_n of_o grace_n in_o he_o but_o that_o for_o all_o this_o he_o may_v fall_v into_o hell_n when_o sin_n lâ—eth_v thus_o at_o the_o door_n thus_o rap_v at_o the_o leave_v it_o thou_o be_v proud_a and_o stouthearted_a how_o oft_o have_v thou_o be_v fight_v for_o to_o be_v humble_a thou_o be_v carnal_a and_o worldly_a how_o often_o have_v thou_o be_v beseech_v of_o your_o sandy_a and_o quagmire_n bottom_n and_o not_o to_o consent_v yourselves_o with_o this_o beggarly_a form_n of_o religion_n only_o but_o as_o ever_o you_o love_v your_o soul_n and_o will_v be_v love_v to_o get_v the_o power_n of_o grace_n and_o a_o thousand_o more_o thing_n have_v we_o beseech_v you_o be_v it_o do_v no_o god_n know_v all_o the_o beseech_v and_o entreaty_n under_o
