as_o they_o let_v the_o lord_n dispensation_n outward_o be_v never_o so_o dark_a and_o sad_a and_o such_o as_o those_o who_o be_v utter_a stranger_n to_o the_o scripture_n and_o to_o the_o lord_n way_n of_o deal_n with_o his_o people_n will_v interpret_v to_o be_v manifest_a evidence_n and_o demonstration_n of_o god_n off_o cast_n yet_o they_o may_v fing_v with_o the_o sweet_a psalmist_n of_o unto_o his_o sad_a heart_a people_n when_o trouble_v at_o the_o consideration_n of_o his_o sharp_a dispensation_n four_o here_o be_v likewise_o great_a encouragement_n and_o a_o strong_a motive_n to_o induce_v and_o persuade_v unto_o a_o close_v of_o a_o covenant_n with_o god_n and_o oh_o that_o all_o who_o be_v as_o yet_o stranger_n hereunto_o will_v at_o length_n be_v move_v to_o lay_v hold_n on_o he_o while_o his_o arm_n be_v stretch_v out_o to_o welcome_a &_o embrace_v all_o who_o will_v come_v second_o we_o may_v hence_o observe_v that_o there_o be_v a_o discovery_n to_o be_v have_v of_o the_o stand_a relation_n betwixt_o god_n and_o his_o people_n even_o when_o the_o lord_n hide_v himself_o for_o the_o lord_n be_v now_o hide_v himself_o or_o appear_v as_o such_o unto_o the_o prophet_n and_o yet_o the_o prophet_n see_v he_o withal_o to_o be_v the_o god_n of_o israel_n and_o the_o saviour_n in_o the_o former_a point_n we_o see_v that_o the_o relation_n betwixt_o god_n and_o his_o people_n do_v stand_v notwithstanding_o of_o the_o lord_n hide_v of_o his_o face_n and_o not_o appear_v open_o by_o act_n suitable_a to_o such_o a_o relation_n but_o though_o this_o be_v so_o yet_o his_o people_n may_v want_v the_o heart-confirming_a sight_n thereof_o and_o now_o in_o this_o point_n we_o hear_v that_o his_o people_n may_v be_v help_v unto_o this_o sight_n and_o discovery_n even_o in_o such_o a_o day_n wherein_o the_o lord_n hide_v himself_o and_o that_o 1._o when_o the_o lord_n lead_v they_o in_o by_o faith_n to_o see_v his_o unchangeable_a nature_n purpose_n and_o decree_n as_o also_o his_o truth_n and_o unchangeable_a word_n together_o with_o the_o other_o particular_a ground_n of_o this_o unchangablness_n in_o god_n relation_n towards_o his_o people_n former_o mention_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n must_v lead_v they_o in_o to_o this_o secret_a chamber_n where_o discover_v the_o lord_n and_o his_o way_n with_o his_o people_n they_o see_v his_o heart_n abide_v the_o same_o however_o his_o face_n may_v frown_v &_o road_n may_v be_v in_o his_o hand_n now_o when_o faith_n get_v right_a apprehension_n of_o god_n and_o win_v to_o a_o right_a discovery_n of_o he_o they_o see_v this_o connexion_n that_o otherwise_o will_v be_v dark_a and_o questionable_a and_o they_o see_v a_o reality_n and_o subsistence_n in_o the_o promise_n 2._o the_o lord_n help_v they_o to_o see_v through_o the_o dark_a cloud_n and_o the_o black_a dispensation_n and_o to_o read_v what_o be_v write_v on_o the_o backside_n thereof_o or_o what_o stand_v behind_o the_o courtine_n of_o the_o present_a sad_a dispensation_n and_o then_o they_o discover_v faithfulness_n and_o unchangablness_n in_o god_n &_o love_n truth_n &_o mercy_n in_o all_o his_o dispensation_n 3._o the_o lord_n blunt_v the_o edge_n of_o the_o temptation_n of_o satan_n and_o let_v his_o child_n see_v the_o unreasonablness_n of_o what_o be_v object_v &_o the_o absurdity_n of_o the_o inference_n that_o satan_n and_o corrupt_a reason_n will_v make_v &_o draw_v from_o the_o lord_n way_n of_o procedoure_n yea_o he_o help_v they_o to_o draw_v the_o contrary_a conclusion_n and_o that_o upon_o certain_a &_o approven_v ground_n confirm_v by_o manifold_a experience_n 4._o the_o lord_n discover_v unto_o they_o the_o firm_a connexion_n betwixt_o these_o sad_a and_o blake_a dispensation_n and_o the_o fair_a promise_n and_o the_o noble_a outgate_n that_o be_v come_v to_o his_o people_n and_o then_o they_o can_v but_o see_v he_o to_o be_v israel_n god_n even_o when_o he_o hide_v himself_o 5._o the_o lord_n think_v good_a sometime_o to_o give_v in_o the_o dark_a day_n and_o in_o the_o dark_a hour_n of_o the_o night_n some_o glimpse_n of_o his_o glory_n in_o behalf_n of_o his_o people_n to_o show_v that_o he_o be_v not_o altogether_o unmindful_a of_o they_o that_o he_o be_v not_o far_o away_o and_o that_o he_o be_v about_o his_o work_n
