justify_v the_o severity_n which_o any_o have_v use_v in_o such_o case_n towards_o their_o brethren_n i_o exclude_v none_o who_o have_v at_o any_o time_n be_v guilty_a the_o great_a part_n of_o sober_a man_n will_v still_o believe_v that_o all_o power_n from_o god_n to_o christian_a prince_n and_o pastor_n be_v for_o edification_n and_o not_o for_o destruction_n that_o he_o never_o give_v any_o against_o his_o own_o law_n and_o the_o interest_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n they_o will_v still_o think_v that_o they_o be_v most_o concern_v it_o shall_v be_v for_o the_o welfare_n of_o their_o own_o soul_n and_o can_v best_o tell_v what_o they_o find_v to_o be_v profitable_a or_o hurtful_a to_o they_o and_o most_o for_o their_o edification_n and_o that_o if_o no_o humane_a authority_n can_v tie_v up_o a_o man_n to_o eat_v that_o which_o he_o can_v digest_v so_o neither_o to_o attend_v that_o ministry_n only_o which_o they_o do_v not_o find_v so_o much_o to_o the_o advantage_n and_o edification_n of_o their_o soul_n as_o some_o other_o which_o god_n afford_v they_o the_o different_a relish_v of_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n may_v here_o be_v consider_v and_o the_o benefit_n of_o gratify_v they_o in_o order_n to_o edification_n for_o i_o know_v of_o some_o and_o hear_v of_o many_o who_o profess_v that_o they_o be_v never_o more_o reverent_a devout_a and_o serious_a and_o their_o heart_n more_o affect_v than_o in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o common_a prayer_n other_o profess_v with_o the_o like_a seriousness_n as_o to_o themselves_o that_o they_o experience_v the_o contrary_a and_o shall_v we_o think_v it_o reasonable_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v oblige_v to_o the_o measure_n of_o the_o former_a or_o that_o either_o shall_v censure_v the_o other_o as_o not_o belong_v to_o christ_n on_o that_o account_n be_v there_o any_o law_n of_o christ_n any_o rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n any_o duty_n of_o love_n to_o the_o brethren_n that_o can_v partiality_n with_o respect_n to_o minister_n cause_v envying_n 3.3.4_o â—_o cor._n 3.3.4_o division_n and_o strife_n which_o the_o apostle_n condemn_v in_o the_o church_n of_o corinth_n be_v minister_n humble_a and_o self-denying_a and_o do_v we_o more_o earnest_o desire_v and_o seek_v the_o honour_n of_o god_n the_o advancement_n of_o holiness_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o soul_n we_o shall_v rejoice_v if_o the_o people_n
