partaker_n of_o one_o and_o the_o same_o trouble_n yet_o not_o of_o equal_a resolution_n to_o bear_v it_o some_o man_n have_v great_a affliction_n and_o bear_v they_o with_o great_a patience_n some_o small_a and_o yet_o cry_v out_o under_o the_o burden_n of_o they_o some_o man_n have_v many_o trouble_n and_o yet_o account_v they_o few_o some_o few_o and_o yet_o account_v they_o many_o some_o be_v bold_a and_o strong_a able_a to_o bear_v and_o undergo_v whatsoever_o it_o please_v god_n to_o lay_v upon_o they_o say_v with_o faithful_a david_n god_n be_v my_o hope_n and_o strength_n and_o carnal_a destres_z with_o greediness_n it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o they_o that_o god_n have_v choose_v and_o enlighten_v for_o they_o find_v in_o themselves_o the_o least_o of_o god_n absence_n if_o but_o for_o a_o moment_n for_o they_o be_v seldom_o idle_a in_o one_o kind_n of_o holy_a duty_n or_o another_o they_o either_o meditate_v on_o the_o word_n and_o work_n of_o god_n they_o pray_v or_o offer_v the_o sacrifice_n of_o thanks_n to_o god_n and_o when_o they_o find_v in_o themselves_o a_o dulness_n to_o pray_v or_o ignorance_n how_o to_o pray_v they_o present_o suspect_v that_o they_o have_v deserve_v by_o some_o mean_n that_o god_n have_v leave_v they_o to_o themselves_o who_o of_o their_o own_o power_n without_o the_o help_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n can_v think_v a_o good_a thought_n much_o less_o faithful_o and_o seruent_o pray_v unto_o he_o and_o then_o feel_v the_o grief_n of_o their_o heart_n that_o they_o can_v be_v comfort_v by_o the_o exercise_n of_o these_o holy_a duty_n find_v the_o fault_n to_o be_v in_o themselves_o and_o that_o god_n for_o some_o sin_n commit_v or_o some_o good_a duty_n omit_v be_v angry_a with_o they_o and_o therefore_o as_o david_n do_v here_o they_o cry_v out_o unto_o god_n o_o hide_v not_o thy_o face_n from_o i_o nor_o cast_v thy_o servant_n away_o in_o displeasure_n so_o fearful_a be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n to_o lose_v mother_n or_o friend_n to_o help_v they_o he_o than_o come_v and_o take_v they_o into_o his_o own_o guard_n and_o keep_v be_v they_o never_o so_o base_a and_o vile_a in_o man_n corrupt_a judgement_n he_o can_v make_v they_o honourable_a be_v they_o never_o so_o abject_a and_o despise_a either_o for_o birth_n or_o poor_a estate_n he_o be_v all_o one_o to_o all_o he_o respect_v no_o degree_n though_o he_o dwell_v in_o the_o heaven_n far_o above_o our_o apprehension_n yet_o he_o behold_v all_o his_o creature_n and_o know_v they_o he_o can_v see_v through_o the_o cloud_n and_o behold_v all_o the_o thing_n on_o earth_n he_o be_v good_a to_o all_o and_o his_o mercy_n be_v over_o all_o his_o work_n he_o uphold_v all_o that_o fall_n and_o lifteth_z up_o all_o that_o be_v ready_a to_o fall_v when_o a_o man_n lose_v father_n and_o mother_n be_v leave_v naked_a and_o destitute_a of_o help_n be_v it_o not_o a_o great_a tentation_n when_o he_o know_v not_o which_o way_n or_o to_o who_o to_o turn_v for_o relief_n what_o a_o comfort_n be_v it_o then_o which_o the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v here_o record_v of_o the_o providence_n and_o love_n of_o god_n who_o have_v promise_v that_o when_o we_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o earthly_a mean_n he_o will_v be_v a_o father_n and_o mother_n unto_o we_o child_n common_o in_o their_o young_a year_n care_v for_o no_o provision_n for_o food_n or_o maintenance_n but_o rely_v only_o upon_o their_o parent_n so_o the_o child_n of_o god_n howsoever_o old_a they_o be_v yet_o unable_a of_o themselves_o to_o provide_v thing_n necessary_a without_o their_o heavenly_a father_n help_n and_o therefore_o as_o the_o young_a bird_n â—ang_v at_o the_o bill_n of_o the_o old_a for_o food_n so_o do_v god_n child_n depend_v upon_o god_n for_o all_o that_o they_o need_v and_o he_o do_v nourish_v they_o he_o be_v in_o stead_n of_o their_o natural_a father_n and_o mother_n nay_o father_n and_o mother_n may_v have_v a_o good_a desire_n to_o provide_v for_o their_o child_n but_o want_v the_o mean_n but_o our_o heavenly_a father_n want_v none_o to_o come_v to_o preferment_n nay_o to_o be_v supply_v with_o thing_n necessary_a be_v neither_o from_o the_o east_n nor_o from_o the_o west_n say_v david_n nor_o from_o the_o south_n but_o god_n be_v the_o judge_n he_o make_v low_a and_o he_o make_v high_a what_o a_o strange_a kind_n of_o care_n than_o be_v it_o in_o many_o parent_n that_o set_v god_n as_o it_o be_v aside_o his_o providence_n and_o care_n and_o only_o study_v how_o they_o may_v advance_v their_o child_n to_o greatness_n after_o their_o death_n as_o if_o when_o they_o can_v see_v they_o rich_o provide_v for_o it_o be_v sufficient_a riches_n land_n and_o revenue_n be_v in_o stead_n of_o father_n and_o mother_n and_o of_o god_n providence_n also_o and_o yet_o if_o these_o man_n be_v not_o wilful_o blind_a or_o rather_o besot_v whether_o more_o with_o the_o fond_a love_n of_o their_o child_n or_o foolish_a desire_n of_o vainglory_n i_o can_v tell_v they_o may_v observe_v more_o poor_a cast_v and_o depend_v upon_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n by_o religious_a endeavour_n to_o live_v more_o content_o with_o their_o little_a than_o many_o left_a rich_a with_o their_o plenty_n and_o more_o from_o mean_a beginning_n to_o rise_v to_o greatness_n than_o in_o hereditary_a greatness_n to_o gain_v glory_n and_o continuance_n let_v they_o then_o that_o be_v in_o a_o mean_a estate_n want_v father_n and_o mother_n which_o imply_v all_o worldly_a mean_n take_v comfort_n and_o courage_n in_o this_o that_o god_n to_o the_o faithful_a be_v in_o stead_n of_o all_o help_n and_o if_o our_o natural_a father_n that_o beget_v we_o our_o natural_a mother_n that_o bear_v we_o our_o friend_n that_o profess_a friendship_n to_o we_o and_o the_o mean_n that_o we_o have_v to_o sustain_v we_o fail_v all_o let_v we_o not_o fear_n for_o the_o lord_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o the_o owner_n and_o disposer_n of_o all_o thing_n within_o the_o same_o have_v give_v we_o a_o promise_n to_o be_v a_o father_n unto_o we_o if_o a_o father_n he_o will_v love_v we_o if_o he_o love_v we_o he_o will_v not_o see_v we_o want_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v fit_a and_o necessary_a for_o us._n though_o then_o our_o eye_n fail_v we_o our_o foot_n falter_v under_o we_o our_o hand_n be_v helpless_a to_o we_o though_o our_o limb_n become_v weak_a though_o we_o have_v neither_o gold_n nor_o silver_n nor_o food_n nor_o raiment_n nor_o friend_n nor_o helper_n but_o our_o ancient_a friend_n and_o companion_n to_o deride_v we_o for_o our_o baseness_n enemy_n to_o rage_n and_o rail_v against_o we_o for_o our_o poorness_n let_v we_o not_o dismay_v nor_o fall_v from_o our_o faith_n and_o assurance_n in_o god_n he_o be_v our_o father_n let_v we_o return_v unto_o he_o though_o as_o prodigal_n he_o will_v entertain_v we_o into_o his_o house_n not_o as_o servant_n but_o as_o son_n he_o will_v regard_v we_o as_o his_o son_n provide_v for_o we_o as_o his_o son_n and_o defend_v we_o as_o his_o son_n and_o in_o stead_n of_o our_o natural_a father_n he_o will_v be_v our_o heavenly_a father_n he_o will_v bring_v we_o up_o and_o we_o shall_v want_v nothing_o that_o be_v good_a though_o he_o seem_v here_o to_o expose_v we_o to_o be_v as_o apprentice_n for_o a_o time_n in_o the_o world_n to_o learn_v to_o bear_v the_o cross_n of_o christ_n it_o be_v but_o seven_o year_n be_v it_o seventy_o he_o in_o the_o end_n will_v make_v we_o free_a man_n of_o the_o city_n new_a jerusalem_n where_o we_o shall_v work_v no_o more_o in_o our_o former_a trade_n of_o life_n but_o in_o stead_n of_o all_o the_o misery_n and_o trouble_n we_o here_o endure_v we_o shall_v have_v peace_n and_o rest_n and_o glory_n for_o evermore_o therefore_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n while_o we_o shall_v live_v as_o the_o world_n slave_n here_o let_v we_o undergo_v it_o with_o patience_n it_o be_v but_o a_o little_a in_o so_o much_o as_o they_o desire_v to_o have_v enjoy_v the_o sight_n of_o it_o still_o so_o glorious_a it_o be_v that_o their_o mind_n be_v even_o ravish_v with_o the_o beauty_n thereof_o so_o david_n desire_v to_o dwell_v in_o the_o temple_n of_o the_o lord_n not_o for_o a_o day_n but_o all_o the_o day_n of_o his_o life_n to_o behold_v the_o beauty_n the_o goodness_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n reveal_v in_o his_o word_n and_o to_o exercise_v himself_o in_o prayer_n where_o god_n be_v due_o and_o true_o call_v upon_o by_o a_o holy_a congregation_n there_o appear_v the_o glory_n and_o beauty_n of_o jehovah_n there_o be_v the_o ark_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o presence_n of_o the_o mighty_a god_n of_o jacob_n who_o glory_n fill_v the_o temple_n which_o the_o faithful_a man_n see_v with_o a_o spiritual_a eye_n but_o the_o carnal_a man_n though_o bodily_a present_n in_o the_o same_o temple_n apprehend_v it_o not_o as_o when_o paul_n be_v convert_v he_o see_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n shine_v upon_o he_o but_o they_o that_o iourny_v with_o he_o though_o near_o he_o see_v nothing_o so_o that_o god_n be_v only_o see_v of_o they_o to_o who_o he_o please_v to_o reveal_v himself_o this_o beauty_n of_o the_o lord_n shine_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n elect_v child_n by_o the_o revelation_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o none_o see_v but_o themselves_o and_o they_o take_v such_o sweet_a delight_n in_o the_o behold_n of_o the_o face_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n as_o they_o do_v receive_v in_o their_o soul_n the_o very_a impression_n of_o the_o image_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o only_o beget_v son_n of_o the_o father_n full_a of_o grace_n and_o truth_n even_o as_o moses_n receive_v through_o the_o splendour_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n upon_o mount_n sinai_n in_o his_o countenance_n such_o a_o impression_n of_o that_o glory_n that_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n can_v not_o endure_v to_o behold_v with_o their_o eye_n the_o glory_n of_o his_o countenance_n what_o remain_v then_o but_o that_o we_o neglect_v not_o the_o continual_a visitation_n of_o the_o temple_n of_o god_n to_o accompany_v the_o congregation_n in_o the_o hear_n of_o that_o heavenly_a word_n to_o pray_v unto_o god_n for_o his_o blessing_n and_o to_o give_v he_o praise_v for_o his_o benefit_n and_o the_o lord_n open_v our_o spiritual_a eye_n that_o we_o may_v even_o here_o behold_v his_o beauty_n and_o be_v hereafter_o partaker_n of_o his_o glory_n a_o prayer_n for_o spiritual_a knowledge_n and_o increase_v of_o our_o holy_a desire_n to_o visit_v the_o temple_n of_o god_n to_o heart_n to_o keep_v out_o that_o bless_a guest_n thy_o spirit_n i_o can_v of_o myself_o abandon_v corruption_n i_o can_v of_o myself_o so_o mortify_v my_o sin_n but_o that_o the_o dregs_n therefore_o will_v still_o remain_v but_o cast_v i_o not_o out_o of_o thy_o holy_a temple_n because_o i_o be_o a_o sinner_n but_o rather_o because_o i_o be_o a_o sinner_n admit_v to_o visit_v thy_o temple_n to_o hear_v thy_o word_n that_o i_o may_v learn_v to_o live_v more_o and_o more_o obedient_o unto_o thou_o make_v thou_o my_o heart_n clean_o and_o i_o shall_v be_v all_o clean_a so_o shall_v i_o visit_v thy_o house_n to_o honour_v thou_o and_o comfort_v myself_o by_o thy_o holy_a presence_n and_o shall_v take_v spiritual_a pleasure_n in_o thy_o beauty_n and_o be_v final_o partaker_n of_o thy_o glory_n thou_o love_v righteousness_n o_o make_v i_o righteous_a thou_o hate_v iniquity_n abandon_v my_o sin_n knit_v my_o heart_n unto_o thou_o that_o i_o may_v both_o fear_n and_o love_v thy_o name_n give_v i_o a_o holy_a desire_n to_o seek_v thou_o and_o to_o serve_v thou_o both_o in_o the_o material_a temple_n with_o thy_o people_n and_o in_o all_o place_n at_o all_o time_n for_o thou_o be_v every_o where_o to_o be_v find_v and_o where_o thou_o be_v there_o be_v thy_o house_n for_o thou_o dwell_v not_o in_o temple_n make_v with_o hand_n but_o in_o the_o heaven_n and_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o they_o who_o thou_o have_v sanctify_v turn_v thy_o face_n unto_o i_o o_o lord_n for_o thy_o face_n i_o seek_v show_v i_o thy_o beauty_n and_o glory_n of_o thy_o countenance_n and_o
