that_o god_n do_v not_o command_v man_n to_o be_v godly_a only_o because_o it_o make_v for_o his_o glory_n but_o because_o godliness_n be_v profitable_a to_o us._n also_o for_o godliness_n be_v not_o call_v gain_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n but_o in_o respect_n of_o we_o it_o be_v gain_v to_o we_o but_o it_o be_v duty_n to_o he_o so_o it_o be_v not_o call_v a_o health_n in_o respect_n of_o we_o because_o it_o be_v the_o health_n of_o our_o soul_n so_o it_o be_v not_o call_v a_o kingdom_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n but_o in_o respect_n of_o we_o because_o we_o be_v entitle_v to_o the_o kingdom_n by_o this_o difference_n from_o the_o reprobate_n now_o put_v all_o the_o good_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n together_o and_o the_o goodness_n of_o all_o be_v find_v in_o godliness_n to_o show_v that_o the_o godly_a be_v as_o well_o as_o merry_a as_o content_v with_o their_o love_n towards_o god_n and_o god_n love_n towards_o they_o as_o other_o be_v with_o health_n and_o wealth_n and_o pleasure_n therefore_o it_o be_v say_v of_o the_o godly_a the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v their_o treasure_n but_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o world_n be_v call_v earthly_a transitory_a snare_n dung_n as_o though_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v count_v riches_n and_o therefore_o to_o draw_v the_o earnest_a love_n of_o man_n from_o they_o the_o holy_a ghost_n bring_v they_o in_o with_o such_o name_n of_o disdain_n to_o disgrace_v they_o with_o their_o lover_n but_o when_o he_o come_v to_o godliness_n which_o be_v the_o riches_n of_o the_o soul_n than_o he_o call_v it_o great_a riches_n heavenly_a riches_n unsearchable_a riches_n everlasting_a riches_n with_o all_o the_o name_n of_o pleasure_n and_o all_o the_o name_n of_o happiness_n the_o worldly_a man_n have_v a_o kind_n of_o peace_n and_o joy_n and_o riches_n but_o it_o can_v be_v call_v great_a because_o they_o have_v not_o enough_o they_o be_v not_o content_a as_o the_o godly_a be_v therefore_o godliness_n have_v his_o honour_n to_o be_v call_v great_a gain_n riches_n make_v bate_v but_o godliness_n make_v peace_n riches_n breed_v covetousness_n but_o godliness_n bring_v contentation_n riches_n make_v a_o man_n unwilling_a to_o die_v but_o godliness_n make_v a_o man_n ready_a to_o die_v therefore_o only_a godliness_n have_v this_o honour_n to_o be_v call_v great_a riches_n such_o joy_n such_o peace_n be_v in_o godliness_n and_o yet_o no_o man_n covet_v it_o for_o this_o be_v the_o quality_n of_o virtue_n it_o seem_v nothing_o unto_o a_o man_n until_o he_o have_v it_o but_o when_o he_o godliness_n because_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a for_o a_o wicked_a man_n to_o be_v content_v but_o the_o godly_a man_n have_v find_v that_o which_o all_o the_o world_n do_v seek_v that_o be_v enough_o it_o be_v seldom_o see_v that_o contentation_n be_v find_v in_o riches_n therefore_o the_o apostle_n teach_v we_o to_o seek_v it_o in_o godliness_n say_v godliness_n be_v great_a riches_n and_o this_o riches_n the_o world_n seldom_o think_v of_o but_o when_o godliness_n come_v unto_o a_o man_n it_o say_v peace_n be_v in_o this_o house_n peace_n be_v in_o this_o heart_n peace_n be_v countenance_n be_v not_o change_v because_o he_o remember_v that_o these_o thing_n be_v give_v he_o to_o do_v good_a such_o a_o commander_n be_v contentation_n that_o wheresoever_o she_o set_v foot_n a_o hundred_o blessing_n wait_v upon_o she_o in_o every_o disease_n she_o be_v a_o physician_n in_o every_o strife_n she_o be_v a_o lawyer_n in_o every_o doubt_n she_o be_v a_o preacher_n in_o every_o of_o man_n with_o a_o brief_a note_n how_o the_o most_o part_n of_o this_o world_n do_v run_v contrary_a in_o this_o point_n and_o do_v not_o take_v care_n of_o that_o duty_n and_o business_n for_o which_o alone_o they_o be_v create_v and_o place_v here_o in_o this_o world_n and_o be_v also_o declare_v what_o great_a danger_n and_o destruction_n such_o runner_n away_o fall_v into_o with_o a_o admonition_n to_o all_o true_a christian_n which_o be_v but_o stranger_n and_o pilgrim_n in_o this_o world_n and_o have_v many_o enemy_n to_o encounter_v withal_o and_o for_o the_o avoid_n the_o danger_n of_o they_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v careful_a to_o distinguish_v true_o between_o spiritual_a and_o worldly_a care_n which_o be_v recite_v in_o the_o story_n of_o martha_n and_o mary_n by_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o also_o that_o god_n have_v give_v two_o vocation_n unto_o man_n the_o one_o heavenly_a and_o spiritual_a for_o the_o soul_n the_o other_o earthly_a and_o temporal_a for_o the_o body_n therefore_o as_o god_n have_v give_v these_o vocation_n to_o every_o christian_n to_o beexercise_v therein_o the_o one_o for_o ourselves_o the_o other_o for_o god_n the_o body_n so_o mary_n and_o martha_n be_v both_o needful_a in_o a_o commonwealth_n therefore_o god_n have_v give_v two_o vocation_n unto_o man_n the_o one_o earthly_a by_o his_o labour_n as_o he_o himself_o to_o be_v like_o himself_o and_o there_o be_v a_o contemplative_a life_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o meditation_n of_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a thing_n wherein_o man_n show_v himself_o to_o be_v like_o the_o angel_n for_o they_o which_o labour_n in_o their_o temporal_a vocation_n do_v live_v like_o man_n but_o they_o which_o labour_n in_o spiritual_a matter_n live_v like_o angel_n when_o these_o hear_v the_o word_n than_o god_n speak_v unto_o they_o and_o when_o they_o pray_v they_o speak_v unto_o god_n so_o that_o there_o be_v a_o continual_a conference_n between_o god_n and_o they_o because_o they_o be_v continual_o exercise_v in_o hear_v and_o pray_v as_o for_o all_o other_o thing_n whether_o they_o be_v honour_n promotion_n pleasure_n riches_n and_o what_o not_o they_o serve_v only_o for_o maintenance_n of_o this_o present_a life_n which_o be_v so_o short_a and_o subject_a to_o mutability_n but_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o food_n of_o the_o soul_n the_o bread_n of_o life_n that_o immortal_a seed_n which_o bring_v forth_o unto_o eternal_a life_n let_v the_o word_n of_o god_n therefore_o be_v precious_a unto_o we_o always_o because_o it_o be_v so_o permanent_a again_o the_o spiritual_a mind_n be_v heavenly_a and_o look_v up_o because_o their_o mind_n be_v above_o where_o their_o treasure_n be_v but_o the_o carnal_a mind_n be_v earthly_a and_o will_v they_o so_o work_v upon_o our_o heart_n that_o every_o man_n shall_v go_v away_o content_v with_o that_o he_o have_v like_o zacheus_n which_o before_o he_o have_v see_v christ_n know_v pawn_n for_o it_o for_o what_o have_v bring_v usury_n and_o simony_n and_o bribery_n and_o cruelty_n envy_n strife_n and_o deceit_n into_o the_o world_n and_o make_v every_o house_n a_o inn_n and_o every_o shop_n a_o market_n of_o oath_n and_o lie_n and_o fraud_n but_o the_o superfluous_a love_n of_o money_n and_o therefore_o name_n covetousness_n and_o thou_o have_v name_v then_o the_o mother_n of_o all_o these_o mischief_n of_o they_o which_o seem_v to_o be_v wise_a there_o be_v no_o such_o fool_n in_o the_o world_n as_o they_o which_o love_v money_n better_o than_o themselves_o but_o this_o be_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n that_o they_o which_o deceive_v other_o deceive_v themselves_o and_o live_v like_o cain_n which_o be_v a_o vagabond_n upon_o his_o own_o land_n so_o they_o be_v beggar_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o their_o wealth_n for_o though_o they_o have_v understanding_n to_o know_v riches_n and_o a_o mind_n to_o seek_v they_o and_o wit_n to_o find_v they_o and_o policy_n to_o keep_v they_o yet_o they_o have_v a_o false_a sight_n and_o bleer_v eye_n that_o when_o their_o riches_n lie_v before_o they_o they_o seem_v poor_a and_o he_o which_o have_v so_o much_o seem_v rich_a than_o they_o it_o be_v a_o wonder_n to_o see_v man_n compass_v about_o seek_v what_o they_o may_v get_v such_o love_n be_v there_o between_o man_n and_o money_n that_o they_o which_o profess_v good_a will_n unto_o it_o with_o their_o heart_n will_v not_o take_v so_o much_o pain_n for_o their_o life_n as_o they_o take_v for_o gain_v therefore_o no_o marvel_n if_o they_o have_v no_o leisure_n to_o sanctify_v themselves_o which_o have_v no_o leisure_n to_o refresh_v themselves_o our_o saviour_n christ_n know_v what_o he_o speak_v when_o he_o say_v no_o man_n can_v serve_v two_o
