that_o every_o man_n shall_v be_v ready_a to_o give_v a_o reason_n of_o his_o faith_n and_o hope_n that_o be_v in_o he_o therefore_o let_v we_o see_v the_o reason_n that_o carry_v you_o the_o the_o folly_n and_o observe_v the_o weakness_n of_o it_o if_o creation_n be_v a_o good_a argument_n than_o all_o the_o damn_a shall_v come_v out_o of_o hell_n and_o be_v deliver_v nay_o by_o this_o reason_n the_o devil_n himself_o shall_v be_v save_v they_o be_v now_o in_o hell_n they_o be_v create_v as_o well_o as_o you_o ignorant_a silly_a creature_n think_v of_o these_o thing_n how_o your_o hope_n will_v shatter_v and_o break_v under_o you_o and_o you_o with_o they_o will_v fall_v together_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n esa_n 57.11_o see_v how_o the_o lord_n bring_v this_o argument_n and_o confute_v it_o it_o be_v a_o people_n that_o have_v no_o understanding_n therefore_o he_o that_o make_v they_o will_v not_o save_v they_o he_o that_o create_v they_o will_v show_v they_o no_o upon_o these_o ground_n they_o build_v their_o hope_n i_o have_v have_v my_o hell_n in_o this_o life_n and_o i_o hope_v to_o have_v heaven_n in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v i_o hope_v the_o worst_a be_v over_o now_o i_o have_v be_v trouble_v in_o this_o world_n i_o hope_v i_o shall_v be_v comfort_v in_o another_o world_n and_o here_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o your_o hope_n i_o beseech_v you_o down_o from_o heaven_n he_o have_v say_v in_o his_o word_n that_o he_o will_v look_v at_o they_o that_o tremble_v at_o his_o name_n i_o look_v for_o mercy_n and_o i_o seek_v for_o grace_n and_o bless_a bee_n god_n i_o have_v find_v that_o mercy_n and_o grace_n i_o look_v and_o seek_v for_o the_o minister_n speak_v it_o and_o his_o spirit_n speak_v it_o that_o my_o name_n be_v register_v in_o heaven_n and_o that_o my_o prayer_n be_v hear_v &_o my_o desire_n satisfy_v and_o therefore_o how_o shall_v i_o love_v the_o lord_n that_o have_v do_v all_o this_o for_o i_o my_o sin_n i_o have_v christian_n course_n here_o be_v the_o difference_n between_o the_o love_n and_o joy_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n and_o of_o a_o saint_n of_o god_n this_o be_v the_o first_o trial_n trial_o 2_o second_o if_o thou_o entertain_v thy_o saviour_n as_o beseem_v a_o saviour_n thou_o must_v entertain_v he_o as_o a_o king_n for_o he_o be_v a_o king_n that_o be_v give_v up_o all_o to_o he_o and_o entertain_v none_o but_o those_o that_o attend_v upon_o he_o and_o appertain_v to_o he_o in_o a_o word_n love_v all_o in_o christ_n love_v all_o for_o christ_n but_o express_v thy_o affection_n and_o joy_n to_o away_o as_o well_o by_o thy_o base_a behaviour_n as_o by_o open_a profession_n a_o man_n can_v receive_v friendship_n with_o christ_n and_o the_o world_n upon_o the_o same_o term_n 4.4_o james_n 4.4_o a_o wife_n that_o love_v her_o husband_n love_v he_o only_o as_o a_o husband_n he_o only_o have_v her_o heart_n and_o she_o love_v none_o but_o he_o in_o that_o manner_n she_o love_v other_o as_o friend_n and_o neighbour_n and_o give_v they_o respect_v so_o far_o as_o they_o keep_v themselves_o there_o but_o if_o they_o come_v to_o claim_v the_o love_n of_o a_o husband_n she_o abhor_v they_o so_o a_o love_a heart_n love_v jesus_n christ_n only_o as_o a_o bridegroom_n and_o all_o thing_n else_o only_o as_o friend_n and_o neighbour_n the_o soul_n that_o love_v christ_n love_v he_o only_o as_o a_o christ_n and_o all_o the_o rest_n as_o friend_n the_o soul_n will_v love_v riches_n that_o may_v credit_v it_o and_o part_n that_o may_v advance_v it_o as_o friend_n to_o speak_v for_o a_o man_n and_o to_o give_v occasion_n to_o a_o man_n to_o come_v to_o a_o saviour_n as_o the_o wife_n love_v her_o husband_n first_o and_o the_o rest_n as_o friend_n and_o neighbour_n that_o must_v further_o the_o match_n so_o the_o soul_n love_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o first_o place_n and_o all_o thing_n else_o as_o profit_n and_o riches_n and_o part_n as_o friend_n and_o neighbour_n that_o may_v make_v up_o the_o match_n with_o a_o saviour_n and_o bring_v it_o into_o acquaintance_n with_o a_o saviour_n the_o soul_n love_v prayer_n and_o hear_v and_o god_n ordinance_n as_o friend_n to_o speak_v a_o good_a word_n to_o christ_n for_o it_o but_o if_o any_o thing_n come_v to_o steal_v away_o the_o heart_n and_o challenge_v the_o affection_n of_o a_o spouse_n it_o abhor_v it_o it_o hate_v honour_n and_o riches_n and_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o world_n that_o will_v challenge_v any_o spouse-like_a love_n christ_n only_o shall_v have_v that_o open_v luke_n 14.16_o open_v our_o saviour_n say_v he_o that_o hate_v not_o father_n and_o mother_n for_o my_o sake_n be_v not_o worthy_a of_o i_o

profession_n but_o he_o that_o be_v a_o gracious_a man_n though_o all_o the_o frame_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n stagger_v yet_o he_o be_v support_v and_o bear_v up_o himself_o upon_o the_o promise_n if_o it_o be_v a_o save_a work_n i_o know_v he_o may_v stagger_v yet_o he_o recover_v himself_o and_o at_o last_o lift_v up_o himself_o upon_o the_o promise_n a_o skilful_a swimmer_n use_v his_o bladder_n but_o yet_o if_o they_o fail_v he_o recover_v himself_o upon_o the_o stream_n and_o bear_v up_o himself_o upon_o that_o so_o the_o gracious_a heart_n be_v content_a to_o use_v comfort_n and_o contentment_n and_o whatsoever_o he_o have_v to_o bear_v he_o up_o with_o more_o ease_n yet_o if_o all_o these_o bladder_n break_v and_o if_o all_o friend_n and_o mean_n and_o honour_n go_v and_o if_o heaven_n and_o earth_n meet_v together_o yet_o he_o be_v able_a to_o cast_v himself_o upon_o the_o stream_n of_o the_o promise_n and_o so_o to_o go_v on_o cheery_o as_o psalm_n 73._o the_o he_o and_o how_o we_o term_v he_o i_o call_v the_o former_a a_o fainthearted_a hypocrite_n he_o must_v have_v his_o aqua_fw-la aquavitae_fw-la and_o his_o cordial_n of_o comfort_n ever_o with_o he_o and_o god_n must_v provide_v a_o dish_n of_o comfort_n for_o he_o or_o else_o he_o shall_v never_o have_v his_o custom_n but_o this_o be_v a_o sturdy_a hypocrite_n and_o one_o that_o will_v not_o out_o of_o the_o pit_n for_o a_o small_a matter_n but_o he_o will_v stand_v his_o ground_n as_o a_o man_n do_v in_o war_n and_o will_v undergo_v much_o trouble_n and_o stand_v stout_o in_o the_o profession_n of_o religion_n and_o yet_o though_o he_o be_v somewhat_o stout_a in_o his_o way_n yet_o his_o heart_n be_v naught_o too_o and_o that_o you_o may_v know_v he_o and_o that_o he_o may_v know_v himself_o let_v we_o do_v three_o thing_n first_o let_v we_o see_v what_o he_o can_v say_v for_o himself_o second_o wherein_o his_o falseness_n appear_v and_o the_o evidence_n of_o it_o three_o
