thing_n put_v into_o his_o hand_n by_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n while_o it_o be_v he_o even_o in_o his_o hand_n for_o this_o be_v a_o man_n portion_n yea_o all_o the_o good_a that_o can_v be_v find_v in_o they_o and_o by_o they_o for_o who_o can_v bring_v a_o man_n to_o see_v what_o shall_v be_v after_o he_o chap._n 2._o 18._o 19_o the_o knowledge_n of_o aftertime_n belong_v to_o god_n only_o and_o when_o we_o be_v go_v then_o be_v all_o out_o of_o our_o hand_n and_o none_o of_o we_o but_o leave_v to_o god_n dispose_n which_o how_o god_n use_v and_o bestow_v or_o what_o good_a be_v do_v therewith_o be_v no_o thanks_n no_o reward_n to_o us._n therefore_o it_o be_v but_o folly_n for_o a_o man_n to_o deprive_v himself_o of_o the_o benefit_n of_o his_o work_n and_o to_o disquiet_v his_o heart_n and_o mind_n in_o vain_a with_o provide_v and_o plot_v for_o aftertime_n namely_o for_o his_o posterity_n whereof_o he_o have_v no_o certainty_n what_o great_a folly_n be_v there_o then_o for_o a_o man_n to_o torment_v his_o body_n vex_v his_o spirit_n torture_v his_o conscience_n lose_v his_o soul_n for_o those_o that_o come_v after_o he_o which_o either_o shall_v be_v wrest_v from_o their_o good_n or_o die_v present_o after_o he_o or_o wasteful_o spend_v they_o work_v out_o their_o damnation_n in_o the_o prodigal_a spend_v as_o he_o do_v in_o the_o covetous_a get_n but_o if_o they_o do_v enjoy_v they_o and_o do_v good_a with_o they_o yet_o be_v that_o nothing_o to_o he_o that_o be_v now_o in_o torment_n for_o it_o be_v not_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o good_n get_v and_o leave_v by_o he_o but_o of_o god_n grace_n and_o that_o do_v good_a as_o well_o without_o those_o good_n as_o with_o they_o for_o it_o be_v not_o how_o much_o we_o do_v but_o how_o well_o not_o what_o abroad_o his_o limb_n in_o cold_a he_o gather_v they_o on_o a_o heap_n these_o drowsy_a fool_n live_v by_o instinct_n of_o corrupt_a nature_n like_o beast_n as_o for_o prodigal_a stir_v lively_a and_o witty_a fool_n they_o more_o resemble_v the_o devil_n they_o be_v not_o snail_n but_o wasp_n and_o hornet_n they_o be_v idle_a also_o for_o either_o they_o live_v in_o no_o profession_n or_o calling_n or_o else_o take_v no_o pain_n in_o their_o profession_n and_o of_o they_o be_v this_o text_n also_o understand_v and_o eat_v up_o his_o own_o flesh_n what_o other_o evil_n soever_o he_o may_v avoid_v yet_o this_o be_v a_o sure_a punishment_n lay_v on_o sluggishness_n that_o it_o pine_v and_o consume_v the_o body_n as_o it_o waste_v the_o outward_a state_n for_o by_o labour_n must_v a_o man_n
