but_o a_o distinct_a sorrow_n the_o man_n that_o be_v in_o sorrow_n must_v not_o be_v grieve_v only_o because_o he_o be_v as_o other_o man_n be_v a_o sinner_n but_o more_o special_o for_o this_o and_o that_o particular_a sin_n by_o which_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o he_o be_v such_o or_o such_o or_o a_o sinner_n that_o so_o his_o sorrow_n in_o respect_n of_o sin_n may_v be_v distinct_a and_o bring_v as_o it_o be_v to_o some_o particular_a head_n and_o man_n in_o this_o case_n must_v deal_v with_o the_o party_n distress_v as_o surgeon_n be_v wont_n to_o do_v with_o a_o tumour_n or_o swell_v in_o the_o body_n who_o manner_n be_v first_o to_o apply_v draw_v &_o ripen_v plaster_n to_o the_o place_n affect_v to_o bring_v the_o sore_a to_o a_o head_n that_o the_o corruption_n may_v and_o several_a offence_n and_o he_o that_o be_v grieve_v for_o one_o sin_n true_o and_o unfeigned_o from_o his_o heart_n shall_v proportional_o be_v grieve_v for_o all_o the_o sin_n that_o he_o know_v to_o be_v in_o himself_o the_o three_o thing_n require_v in_o apply_v this_o remedy_n be_v the_o minister_a and_o convey_n of_o comfort_n to_o the_o mind_n of_o he_o that_o have_v confess_v his_o sin_n and_o be_v true_o humble_v for_o they_o and_o it_o be_v a_o point_n of_o the_o great_a moment_n of_o all_o where_o if_o the_o question_n be_v how_o this_o comfort_n shall_v be_v minister_v the_o answer_n be_v it_o may_v be_v do_v by_o bring_v the_o party_n trouble_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o life_n and_o there_o be_v two_o way_n of_o do_v this_o the_o one_o persuade_v we_o of_o title_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n be_v both_o false_a and_o unfit_a false_a it_o be_v because_o all_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v limit_v with_o the_o condition_n of_o faith_n and_o repentance_n not_o be_v universal_a but_o make_v only_o to_o such_o person_n as_o repent_v and_o believe_v therefore_o they_o be_v indefinite_a in_o regard_n of_o whole_a mankind_n and_o to_o believer_n they_o be_v universal_a it_o be_v object_v that_o god_n will_v have_v all_o man_n 4._o to_o be_v save_v ans._n the_o apostle_n be_v the_o best_a expounder_n iron_n which_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o fire_n vehement_o hot_a &_o cool_v again_o be_v much_o more_o hard_a than_o it_o will_v have_v be_v if_o the_o heat_n have_v be_v moderate_a and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o in_o the_o minister_a of_o comfort_n we_o must_v somewhat_o keep_v they_o down_o &_o bring_v they_o on_o by_o little_a &_o little_a to_o repentance_n the_o sweetness_n of_o comfort_n be_v the_o great_a if_o it_o be_v delay_v with_o some_o tartenesse_n of_o the_o law_n ii_o another_o rule_n be_v this_o if_o the_o distress_a party_n be_v much_o possess_v with_o grief_n of_o himself_o he_o must_v not_o be_v leave_v alone_o but_o always_o attend_v with_o good_a company_n for_o it_o be_v a_o usual_a practice_n of_o the_o devil_n to_o take_v the_o vantage_n of_o the_o place_n &_o from_o her_o husband_n and_o in_o this_o regard_n solomon_n pronounce_v a_o woe_n to_o he_o that_o 10._o be_v alone_o but_o herein_o do_v his_o malice_n most_o appear_v in_o that_o he_o be_v always_o mercy_n they_o will_v grant_v that_o all_o these_o indeed_o be_v good_a thing_n but_o they_o belong_v not_o to_o they_o for_o they_o neither_o do_v nor_o can_v feel_v any_o thing_n but_o the_o token_n god_n covenant_n for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o world_n from_o destruction_n by_o rain_n be_v the_o rainbow_n which_o indeed_o be_v a_o natural_a sign_n of_o rain_n when_o elias_n be_v to_o
