hope_n can_v make_v we_o have_v they_o be_v without_o hope_n wish_v they_o joy_n of_o what_o they_o have_v but_o hope_v they_o have_v none_o and_o this_o let_v i_o tell_v you_o improve_v this_o well_o and_o it_o shall_v pay_v all_o the_o charge_n of_o their_o gain_n you_o have_v the_o hope_n of_o eternal_a life_n the_o hope_n of_o glory_n of_o what_o ever_o your_o heart_n can_v wish_v and_o any_o thing_n rather_o than_o their_o hope_n now_o those_o hope_n in_o comparison_n with_o we_o have_v two_o or_o three_o notable_a defect_n first_o they_o be_v build_v upon_o uncertainty_n and_o contingenty_n they_o have_v no_o firm_a bottom_n and_o ground_n work_v and_o so_o can_v be_v entire_a can_v be_v without_o the_o mixture_n of_o fear_n fear_v of_o issue_n fear_v of_o success_n and_o this_o let_v i_o add_v that_o the_o more_o they_o hope_v the_o more_o they_o will_v fear_v out_o of_o a_o loathnesse_n to_o want_v the_o good_a thing_n they_o desire_v and_o so_o it_o be_v a_o mix_a affection_n that_o prick_v and_o pinch_v aswell_o as_o relieve_v and_o comfort_n worldly_n man_n enjoy_v little_a their_o hope_n or_o their_o possession_n not_o their_o possession_n for_o they_o be_v balance_v with_o uncertainty_n and_o emptiness_n so_o as_o they_o be_v fain_o to_o relieve_v themselves_o by_o their_o hope_n by_o their_o reaching_n after_o more_o nor_o their_o hope_n do_v they_o enjoy_v pure_o and_o sincere_o for_o they_o be_v mix_v with_o fear_n which_o oftentimes_o be_v the_o weighty_a ingredient_n and_o bear_v the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o composition_n but_o our_o hope_n have_v not_o this_o impediment_n to_o joy_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_n carry_v evidence_n and_o subsistence_n with_o they_o be_v build_v upon_o the_o evidence_n and_o subsistence_n of_o faith_n so_o that_o what_o faith_n firm_o believe_v hope_v joyful_o expect_v and_o wait_v for_o what_o be_v the_o great_a happiness_n of_o heaven_n but_o the_o fixe_v &_o staye_v of_o joy_n by_o eternity_n now_o the_o joy_n of_o that_o hope_n be_v fix_v by_o faith_n which_o give_v it_o a_o steady_a and_o untotter_a foundation_n so_o that_o what_o you_o have_v you_o have_v if_o joy_n come_v in_o by_o that_o door_n it_o will_v or_o aught_o to_o do_v so_o always_o there_o be_v no_o rational_a or_o necessary_a mixture_n of_o fear_n because_o there_o be_v no_o rational_a cause_n of_o doubt_v second_o there_o be_v a_o vanity_n of_o rejoice_v in_o boasting_n as_o james_n say_v and_o so_o a_o evil_a for_o all_o such_o rejoice_v be_v evil_a the_o mixture_n of_o fear_n be_v a_o troublesome_a but_o it_o be_v a_o rational_a thing_n in_o their_o hope_n the_o foundation_n of_o which_o be_v but_o contingency_n but_o a_o further_a evil_n and_o more_o sinful_a and_o irrational_a be_v that_o they_o rejoice_v in_o their_o boasting_n they_o think_v by_o the_o determination_n of_o their_o will_n to_o do_v that_o which_o godly_a man_n do_v by_o faith_n and_o when_o their_o hope_n have_v once_o conclude_v a_o thing_n they_o think_v it_o shall_v be_v establish_v and_o thereupon_o run_v away_o without_o reckon_n with_o their_o host_n as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v whereas_o the_o scripture_n say_v you_o ought_v to_o say_v if_o i_o live_v and_o if_o the_o lord_n will_v now_o for_o their_o foolish_a conceit_n to_o fix_v that_o which_o only_a god_n can_v render_v certain_a be_v
