as_o a_o glass_n to_o discover_v and_o lay_v before_o we_o on_o the_o one_o side_n what_o we_o owe_v unto_o he_o &_o have_v be_v able_a to_o pay_v he_o if_o we_o have_v continue_v in_o the_o state_n but_o the_o truth_n be_v through_o our_o original_a sin_n we_o have_v bring_v with_o we_o into_o the_o world_n such_o a_o general_a forwardness_n to_o all_o evil_a and_o backwardness_n to_o all_o good_a join_v with_o such_o gross_a blindness_n in_o thing_n spiritual_a and_o by_o actual_a sin_n daily_o flow_v from_o this_o bitter_a fountain_n in_o we_o we_o have_v all_o of_o we_o so_o harden_v our_o own_o heart_n that_o though_o the_o lord_n by_o sound_v these_o thing_n outward_o in_o our_o ear_n may_v make_v we_o without_o all_o excuse_n if_o hereby_o we_o take_v no_o occasion_n thus_o to_o be_v humble_v before_o he_o yet_o most_o certain_a be_v it_o that_o the_o hear_n of_o these_o thing_n never_o so_o often_o outward_o beat_v upon_o will_v never_o prove_v forcible_a and_o effectual_a inward_o to_o breed_v in_o we_o this_o true_a spiritual_a hunger_n and_o thirst_n until_o the_o lord_n himself_o of_o his_o special_a favour_n and_o grace_n both_o open_a the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n and_o mollify_v and_o soften_v our_o hard_a heart_n and_o so_o indeed_o himself_o by_o his_o own_o hand_n and_o power_n hereby_o work_v this_o in_o us._n this_o teach_v moses_n the_o jew_n say_v yet_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o give_v you_o a_o heart_n to_o perceive_v and_o eye_n to_o see_v and_o ear_n to_o hear_v unto_o this_o day_n deut._n 29.4_o and_o yet_o this_o be_v in_o deed_n the_o lord_n special_a work_n he_o show_v the_o same_o people_n again_o by_o his_o prophet_n ezechiell_n say_v i_o will_v put_v a_o new_a spirit_n within_o their_o bowel_n i_o will_v take_v
