under_o all_o his_o ministry_n he_o know_v there_o can_v be_v no_o perfect_a obedience_n by_o reason_n of_o debility_n through_o corruption_n of_o nature_n but_o he_o know_v that_o man_n may_v yield_v sincere_a obedience_n in_o faith_n and_o love_n and_o in_o that_o have_v promise_v both_o assistance_n and_o acceptance_n in_o his_o son_n see_v this_o further_o clear_v in_o the_o next_o chapter_n viz._n he_o require_v sincere_a obedience_n so_o that_o this_o objection_n fall_v and_o come_v to_o nothing_o for_o he_o accept_v we_o according_a to_o what_o we_o have_v and_o not_o according_a to_o what_o we_o have_v not_o and_o he_o will_v judge_v man_n at_o the_o last_o day_n not_o for_o or_o by_o their_o lose_a power_n in_o adam_n but_o for_o their_o own_o wilful_a wickedness_n and_o not_o design_a trap_n and_o snare_n than_o a_o design_n of_o grace_n to_o command_v man_n to_o repent_v believe_v and_o obey_v the_o gospel_n on_o peril_n of_o damnation_n the_o second_o death_n on_o their_o neglect_n or_o disobedience_n and_o know_v that_o in_o no_o case_n they_o can_v not_o nor_o ever_o intend_v any_o such_o grace_n unto_o they_o in_o any_o sense_n be_v to_o have_v such_o as_o a_o stock_n or_o a_o stone_n or_o as_o man_n that_o be_v natural_o dead_a this_o be_v a_o ridiculous_a and_o untrue_a imagination_n if_o you_o shall_v see_v a_o man_n go_v to_o a_o stone_n and_o we_o suppose_v that_o person_n may_v believe_v or_o that_o any_o do_v believe_v unto_o life_n only_o by_o the_o objective_a evidence_n or_o external_a ministry_n without_o the_o spirit_n work_v in_o and_o with_o the_o gospel_n answ_n if_o we_o may_v suppose_v the_o ministry_n to_o go_v without_o the_o spirit_n work_v therein_o than_o we_o may_v suppose_v a_o possibility_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o specially-elect_a only_o shall_v obtain_v and_o that_o all_o other_o be_v debar_v that_o though_o they_o will_v and_o run_v all_o will_v be_v in_o vain_a these_o be_v corrupt_a understanding_n to_o understand_v any_o scripture_n so_o as_o to_o contradict_v other_o especial_o so_o as_o to_o contradict_v the_o volume_n of_o the_o book_n of_o god_n and_o law_n of_o grace_n as_o either_o of_o these_o sense_n do_v yea_o and_o contradict_v the_o apostle_n and_o set_v he_o against_o himself_o who_o in_o this_o very_a same_o epistle_n encourage_v to_o the_o willing_a and_o do_v of_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o that_o in_o order_n to_o the_o obtain_n of_o life_n with_o the_o danger_n of_o the_o contrary_a rom._n 2._o 4._o to_o 10._o and_o 8._o 13._o and_o 12._o 1_o 2._o 2._o therefore_o two_o affirmative_o we_o must_v necessary_o understand_v that_o it_o tend_v to_o keep_v we_o in_o our_o willing_a and_o run_v to_o the_o right_a rule_n and_o right_a end_n in_o run_v and_o therefore_o we_o may_v understand_v either_o 1._o that_o it_o be_v not_o our_o willing_a or_o run_v that_o can_v bring_v we_o within_o the_o compass_n of_o special_a electing-grace_n that_o be_v pass_v in_o god_n will_n before_o the_o world_n be_v or_o 2._o that_o it_o condemn_v all_o willing_a and_o run_v without_o have_v respect_n to_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n leave_v out_o christ_n and_o grace_n all_o such_o willing_a and_o run_v will_v be_v in_o vain_a and_o most_o probable_o this_o be_v it_o that_o be_v intend_v for_o this_o suit_n with_o the_o scope_n of_o the_o gospel_n act._n 4._o 12._o eph._n 2._o 7_o 8._o tit._n 3._o 5_o 6_o 7._o or_o three_o that_o it_o be_v by_o the_o grace_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n that_o any_o do_v right_o will_n and_o run_v man_n by_o nature_n be_v so_o averse_a thereunto_o so_o that_o it_o no_o whit_n derogate_v from_o the_o power_n to_o will_n and_o run_v but_o regulate_v it_o to_o the_o right_a gospel_n and_o cleave_v to_o he_o therein_o they_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v the_o vessel_n of_o mercy_n act._n 2._o 38._o and_o 3._o 19_o and_o 2_o this_o discover_v the_o freedom_n of_o his_o will_n relative_a to_o sinner_n after_o they_o have_v harden_v themselves_o &_o sin_v away_o their_o mercy_n he_o be_v at_o liberty_n in_o this_o case_n to_o soften_v in_o mercy_n or_o to_o harden_v in_o judgement_n who_o he_o please_v and_o this_o the_o scripture_n from_o whence_o the_o apostle_n take_v this_o sentence_n do_v demonstrate_v exod._n 33._o 19_o the_o people_n have_v all_o sin_v away_o
