from_o daily_a experience_n and_o it_o be_v to_o be_v account_v short_a especial_o now_o and_o â—ven_o in_o job_n time_n also_o though_o then_o they_o live_v much_o long_o than_o man_n do_v now_o live_v of_o old_a for_o as_o man_n now_o live_v but_o short_a while_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o time_n about_o which_o job_n live_v so_o in_o those_o day_n their_o age_n be_v far_o short_a of_o the_o patriarch_n before_o the_o flood_n and_o as_o man_n day_n be_v thus_o few_o so_o for_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o this_o shortness_n of_o his_o life_n though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o it_o be_v a_o mercy_n to_o the_o godly_a that_o their_o day_n be_v ill_a be_v few_o and_o shorten_v see_v math._n 24.22_o and_o that_o thereby_o they_o be_v hasten_v to_o glory_n yet_o the_o shortness_n of_o man_n life_n be_v in_o many_o respect_n a_o misery_n 1._o if_o we_o consider_v it_o in_o the_o root_n and_o rise_v of_o it_o mortality_n be_v the_o fruit_n of_o sin_n and_o therefore_o whatever_o be_v for_o a_o while_n in_o the_o state_n of_o infancy_n before_o we_o know_v what_o it_o be_v to_o live_v after_o that_o many_o spend_v along_o time_n of_o youth_n before_o they_o settle_v and_o before_o they_o know_v how_o to_o number_v their_o day_n even_o as_o rational_a man_n and_o when_o we_o come_v to_o be_v more_o compose_v business_n sickness_n and_o distraction_n do_v impede_fw-la and_o interrupt_v we_o and_o old_a age_n disable_v we_o to_o spend_v our_o time_n to_o any_o purpose_n in_o those_o inconvenience_n even_o the_o godly_a do_v so_o much_o and_o frequent_o share_v sand_n and_o little_a to_o be_v regard_v see_v man_n may_v be_v forget_v by_o their_o dear_a friend_n for_o the_o womb_n shall_v forget_v he_o and_o he_o shall_v be_v no_o more_o remember_v and_o if_o he_o be_v forget_v as_o to_o the_o way_n of_o his_o death_n other_o memorial_n of_o he_o may_v also_o perish_v see_v psal_n 37.35_o 36._o and_o 49.11_o 12._o a_o name_n with_o god_n be_v much_o sure_a that_o the_o soul_n can_v find_v no_o welfare_n where_o they_o be_v for_o say_v he_o my_o welfare_n pass_v away_o where_o by_o his_o welfare_n we_o be_v to_o understand_v especial_o his_o health_n and_o prosperity_n as_o it_o be_v very_o suitable_a that_o all_o thing_n look_v sad_a and_o desolate_a upon_o a_o child_n of_o god_n when_o god_n seem_v to_o be_v a_o terror_n so_o here_o we_o may_v also_o observe_v the_o emptiness_n and_o vanity_n of_o all_o worldly_a contentment_n which_o will_v fail_v we_o when_o we_o have_v most_o need_n and_o when_o god_n come_v to_o deal_v in_o severity_n with_o we_o only_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v careful_a even_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o terror_n to_o observe_v and_o acknowledge_v the_o mercy_n that_o be_v continue_v with_o we_o and_o not_o to_o undervalue_v they_o 7._o when_o terror_n get_v place_n and_o prevail_v upon_o man_n ordinary_o there_o be_v a_o little_a hope_n of_o what_o be_v to_o come_v as_o there_o be_v contentment_n in_o what_o enjoy_v yet_o probable_o in_o this_o his_o distress_n he_o esteem_v more_o high_o of_o it_o then_o when_o he_o do_v enjoy_v it_o and_o that_o add_v to_o his_o trouble_n but_o we_o shall_v learn_v to_o live_v without_o all_o that_o which_o god_n be_v please_v to_o take_v from_o we_o and_o shall_v reckon_v that_o to_o be_v our_o welfare_n which_o we_o have_v whatever_o it_o be_v if_o we_o guide_v and_o improve_v it_o well_o 2._o when_o their_o expectation_n be_v too_o much_o fix_v upon_o the_o thing_n of_o time_n and_o upon_o recovery_n out_o of_o trouble_n for_o sometime_o his_o condition_n look_v like_o a_o cloud_n promise_v rain_n so_o that_o when_o it_o pass_v away_o the_o disappointment_n render_v his_o condition_n the_o sad_a sober_a expectation_n will_v free_v we_o of_o much_o
