wythoute_n a_o syngule_a council_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o this_o king_n be_v mencionated_a of_o so_o copious_o nether_a that_o his_o behavoure_n and_o do_n after_o his_o conversion_n be_v so_o diligent_o manife_v first_o the_o text_n set_v forth_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o conversion_n and_o say_v he_o return_v unto_o god_n upon_o the_o fame_n and_o rumoure_n of_o jonas_n preaching_n wherefore_o we_o learn_v how_o much_o the_o truth_n be_v wurthye_a to_o be_v esteem_v sing_v that_o a_o king_n upon_o the_o brute_n thereof_o make_v by_o his_o people_n embrace_v and_o resist_v not_o city_n of_o ninive_n by_o the_o commandment_n of_o the_o king_n and_o his_o council_n in_o this_o proclamacyon_n first_o must_v be_v mark_v who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o this_o proclamation_n then_o what_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o proclamation_n the_o person_n be_v the_o king_n and_o the_o noble_n of_o his_o realm_n in_o these_o person_n first_o note_v that_o it_o be_v the_o king_n office_n and_o the_o peer_n of_o the_o realm_n to_o pourge_v their_o common_a wealth_n from_o false_a relygyon_n by_o publycke_a and_o open_a proclamation_n so_o do_v nabuchadnezer_n darius_n and_o cirus_n king_n of_o most_o notable_a fame_n therefore_o christ_n call_v the_o prince_n the_o nurse_n of_o the_o church_n and_o so_o i_o doubt_n not_o most_o gracious_a king_n but_o your_o highness_n will_n accord_v to_o your_o title_n &_o style_n pourge_v this_o church_n of_o england_n to_o the_o purity_n and_o sincerity_n of_o god_n word_n farther_o we_o learn_v how_o that_o the_o prince_n and_o counsellor_n of_o a_o realm_n shall_v help_v forth_o the_o godly_a purpose_n and_o statute_n make_v for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n within_o a_o realm_n so_o be_v this_o king_n godly_a purpose_n help_v by_o his_o council_n so_o david_n so_o josias_n in_o that_o the_o king_n and_o his_o noble_n do_v confirm_v the_o do_n of_o his_o people_n we_o learn_v that_o godly_a magistrate_n shall_v not_o let_v but_o further_o and_o confirm_v all_o godly_a purpose_n and_o virtuous_a study_n of_o their_o people_n when_o they_o study_v amendment_n of_o false_a religion_n so_o do_v josaphat_n ezechias_n and_o they_o shall_v not_o only_o find_v grace_n at_o god_n hand_n but_o also_o more_o health_n and_o soberness_n of_o body_n more_o riches_n in_o the_o coffer_n more_o plenty_n in_o the_o realm_n more_o grace_n wit_n and_o soberness_n in_o their_o household_n that_o the_o beast_n be_v tie_v up_o also_o from_o their_o meat_n it_o declare_v that_o the_o king_n and_o people_n have_v to_o much_o a_o delight_n in_o wanton_a and_o over_o much_o gayness_n of_o their_o beast_n which_o be_v keep_v out_o of_o their_o accustom_a pride_n shall_v not_o allure_v they_o from_o their_o penitence_n nor_o geve_v they_o occasyon_n to_o return_v again_o to_o the_o former_a evyll_n far_o it_o please_v so_o the_o lord_n to_o punish_v y_fw-mi â—_o thing_n that_o allure_v man_n frail_a nature_n to_o sin_n because_o the_o sin_v of_o man_n shall_v the_o better_o be_v know_v as_o we_o see_v by_o the_o killing_n of_o the_o leviticall_a beast_n that_o never_o offend_v god_n will_v preach_v unto_o man_n penance_n so_o do_v this_o king_n in_o the_o end_n of_o his_o proclamation_n set_v forth_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n to_o his_o people_n whereby_o both_o he_o and_o they_o by_o save_v that_o it_o seem_v his_o oration_n to_o have_v a_o doubt_n in_o it_o true_o notwythstand_v that_o he_o be_v very_o well_o persuade_v of_o god_n mercy_n for_o as_o jonas_n propon_v nothing_o but_o god_n ice_n he_o
