not_o loose_a time_n in_o stand_v any_o long_o about_o any_o thing_n which_o may_v be_v further_o allege_v to_o so_o evil_a and_o ungodlie_a a_o purpose_n by_o that_o which_o have_v be_v answer_v it_o may_v sufficient_o be_v discern_v how_o vain_a and_o frivolous_a all_o other_o excuse_n or_o defence_n be_v only_o this_o will_v i_o say_v that_o by_o how_o much_o flesh_n and_o blood_n be_v more_o inventive_a to_o find_v out_o pretence_a excuse_n and_o the_o devil_n also_o more_o ready_a to_o prompt_v and_o help_v forward_o the_o same_o by_o so_o much_o we_o may_v upon_o good_a ground_n more_o bold_o affirm_v and_o determine_v that_o christian_a and_o merciful_a beneficence_n be_v a_o special_a duty_n of_o godliness_n which_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n take_v singular_a delight_n in_o &_o which_o he_o will_v undoubted_o bless_v to_o the_o incomparable_a advantage_n of_o all_o that_o will_v settle_v their_o heart_n to_o continue_v in_o the_o wise_a discreet_a and_o dutiful_a practice_n thereof_o hitherto_o therefore_o of_o the_o first_o part_n of_o our_o treatise_n concern_v christian_n give_v the_o second_o part_n follow_v which_o be_v of_o the_o christian_n receive_v of_o that_o which_o be_v so_o christianlie_a give_v be_v what_o receive_v be_v the_o second_o part_n of_o the_o treatise_n chap._n i._n what_o receive_v be_v in_o so_o much_o as_o it_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n that_o such_o who_o he_o have_v make_v better_o able_a they_o other_o shall_v give_v unto_o those_o which_o stand_v in_o need_n and_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n have_v encourage_v they_o by_o many_o gracious_a and_o bountiful_a promise_n so_o to_o do_v it_o follow_v that_o it_o be_v likewise_o the_o good_a will_n and_o pleasure_n of_o god_n that_o such_o as_o stand_v in_o need_n shall_v neither_o refuse_v to_o bewray_v &_o acknowledge_v their_o want_n nor_o make_v any_o niceness_n scruple_n or_o doubt_n to_o receive_v the_o liberality_n of_o the_o good_a and_o beneficial_a servant_n of_o the_o lord_n only_o it_o be_v require_v that_o as_o the_o give_n must_v be_v in_o such_o christian_a manner_n as_o god_n prescribe_v in_o his_o holy_a word_n as_o have_v already_o be_v lay_v forth_o so_o the_o receive_v must_v likewise_o be_v such_o a_o kind_n of_o receive_v as_o god_n allow_v of_o the_o which_o we_o be_v
