good_a or_o evil_n be_v prepare_v for_o man_n after_o this_o life_n as_o the_o prophet_n most_o excellent_o explicate_v in_o the_o 72._o psalm_n only_o the_o mature_a ponderation_n of_o this_o appease_v the_o mind_n and_o cause_v it_o to_o tread_v a_o virtuous_a &_o resolve_a course_n in_o all_o adversity_n but_o it_o may_v be_v here_o answer_v that_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v sufficient_o punish_v for_o all_o their_o wrong_n injustice_n &_o other_o their_o transgression_n in_o that_o they_o be_v extinct_a with_o the_o death_n of_o their_o body_n but_o against_o this_o i_o say_v that_o this_o perish_v and_o death_n of_o the_o soul_n if_o any_o such_o be_v be_v ordain_v not_o as_o a_o punishment_n but_o as_o a_o condition_n of_o nature_n which_o no_o less_o the_o virtuous_a and_o just_a do_v undergo_v than_o the_o wicked_a like_o as_o in_o a_o commonwealth_n if_o there_o be_v no_o other_o other_o punishment_n to_o be_v inflict_v upon_o delinquent_n than_o the_o natural_a death_n of_o body_n which_o according_a to_o the_o course_n of_o measure_n be_v to_o fall_v to_o every_o one_o it_o may_v be_v true_o say_v that_o no_o pain_n or_o chastisement_n at_o finis_fw-la one_o &_o the_o same_o thing_n be_v the_o first_o agent_n and_o the_o last_o end_n the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v because_o the_o first_o agent_n do_v not_o necessary_o intend_v in_o the_o own_o glory_n that_o thereby_o the_o perfection_n of_o his_o excellency_n may_v be_v manifest_v and_o know_v impium_fw-la quoque_fw-la yea_o even_o the_o wicked_a etc._n etc._n because_o he_o suffer_v a_o man_n to_o be_v wicked_a and_o be_v wicked_a he_o ordain_v he_o to_o damnation_n and_o eternal_a punishment_n &_o all_o this_o which_o god_n do_v tend_v to_o his_o glory_n but_o if_o the_o soul_n be_v mortal_a the_o divine_a perfection_n in_o god_n be_v so_o far_o off_o from_o shine_v in_o the_o fabric_n &_o disposition_n of_o the_o world_n as_o that_o they_o may_v rather_o seem_v to_o be_v thing_n immortal_a see_v that_o condition_n be_v best_a sort_v to_o the_o dignity_n of_o the_o soul_n it_o be_v not_o a_o point_n of_o wisdom_n to_o make_v such_o thing_n eternal_a as_o be_v serviceable_a and_o as_o it_o be_v slave_n to_o man_n as_o the_o world_n which_o be_v his_o house_n and_o the_o like_a and_o yet_o to_o shut_v or_o confyne_v the_o lord_n of_o all_o within_o a_o narrow_a conpasse_n of_o time_n and_o that_o be_v once_o end_v himself_o for_o ever_o to_o be_v extinguish_v and_o to_o resolve_v to_o nothing_o it_o be_v not_o the_o office_n of_o goodness_n to_o bring_v all_o other_o thing_n to_o that_o perfection_n which_o be_v agreeable_a to_o each_o of_o they_o and_o yet_o so_o to_o neglect_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n as_o that_o he_o can_v never_o attain_v unto_o the_o hundred_o part_n of_o that_o good_a of_o which_o it_o be_v capable_a it_o be_v no_o providence_n to_o leave_v the_o soul_n to_o its_o own_o appetite_n and_o desire_n without_o set_v of_o any_o reward_n which_o may_v allure_v it_o to_o virtue_n or_o punishment_n which_o may_v deter_v it_o from_o vice_n to_o leave_v sin_n unpunished_a and_o justice_n violate_v &_o to_o permit_v in_o the_o world_n so_o great_a a_o disorder_n and_o confusion_n the_o impious_a rule_n and_o tyrannize_v and_o the_o just_a and_o virtuous_a remain_v oppress_v and_o this_o without_o any_o future_a hope_n of_o better_v of_o thing_n or_o of_o reduce_v they_o in_o any_o more_o convenient_a order_n what_o shall_v i_o
