be_v able_a to_o hinder_v his_o passage_n nor_o entrance_n into_o the_o open_a field_n in_o the_o end_n he_o conclude_v that_o the_o city_n shall_v be_v raze_v so_o as_o no_o inhabitant_n shall_v together_o so_o as_o they_o be_v not_o to_o look_v for_o any_o end_n of_o they_o till_o the_o jew_n be_v utter_o waste_v but_o in_o say_v the_o calamity_n be_v call_v he_o give_v they_o to_o understand_v and_o that_o in_o few_o word_n that_o god_n be_v set_v upon_o his_o tribunal_n seat_n who_o after_o he_o have_v inflict_v some_o light_a chastisement_n upon_o man_n for_o their_o sin_n soon_o after_o add_v more_o weighty_a punishment_n &_o last_o see_v they_o to_o grow_v desperate_a in_o their_o rebellion_n he_o also_o continue_v his_o stroke_n so_o long_o till_o at_o length_n he_o utter_o destroy_v those_o that_o will_v not_o amend_v affliction_n upon_o affliction_n be_v call_v but_o how_o true_o because_o the_o whole_a land_n be_v destroy_v and_o then_o my_o tent_n be_v tent_n &_o curtain_n that_o he_o may_v take_v from_o the_o jew_n that_o fond_a confidence_n which_o make_v they_o to_o burst_v as_o it_o be_v with_o pride_n think_v such_o city_n shall_v serve_v they_o as_o bulwark_n &_o fortress_n to_o repulse_v their_o enemy_n and_o thus_o they_o think_v the_o prophet_n mean_v to_o deprive_v they_o of_o this_o vain_a hope_n in_o call_v their_o strong_a city_n by_o the_o name_n of_o tent_n or_o tabernacle_n there_o be_v other_o also_o who_o imagine_v that_o he_o allude_v to_o the_o city_n of_o anathoth_o the_o place_n of_o the_o prophet_n birth_n or_o to_o the_o manner_n of_o life_n which_o man_n lead_v there_o and_o to_o say_v the_o truth_n jeremiah_n use_v often_o such_o phrase_n of_o speech_n as_o agree_v to_o shepherd_n and_o keeper_n of_o cattle_n that_o be_v to_o say_v such_o a_o stile_n as_o be_v somewhat_o rude_a and_o dis-jointed_a it_o shall_v not_o be_v great_o amiss_o then_o if_o we_o say_v he_o speak_v here_o as_o in_o the_o insensible_a that_o they_o may_v the_o more_o easy_o contemn_v god_n and_o all_o godliness_n god_n servant_n must_v press_v the_o hypocrite_n thus_o continual_o that_o both_o they_o and_o the_o open_a often_o add_v by_o way_n of_o correction_n that_o god_n will_v not_o utter_o consume_v the_o earth_n the_o word_n which_o the_o prophet_n here_o use_v sometime_o signify_v perfection_n but_o in_o many_o other_o place_n it_o signify_v consumption_n for_o the_o verb_n signify_v to_o perfect_a and_o consume_v and_o there_o be_v the_o same_o reason_n for_o both_o and_o yet_o it_o seem_v these_o word_n shall_v be_v one_o contrary_a to_o another_o notwithstanding_o that_o which_o be_v consume_v may_v proper_o be_v call_v perfect_a because_o it_o always_o bring_v to_o a_o end_n if_o this_o exposition_n seem_v good_a than_o we_o now_o see_v why_o he_o say_v that_o he_o will_v not_o make_v a_o consumption_n albeit_o he_o do_v severe_o chastise_v this_o people_n to_o wit_n that_o he_o
