True Religion ought to oblige one to love God intirely and above all Creatures II True Religion must know our Nature for the true Nature of Man his true Happiness true Virtue and true Religion are things inseparable III. True Religion must know that Man is the most excellent of all Creatures and at the same time the most miserable IV. True Religion ought to teach that Man's Excellency consists in being capable of God and Vertue and that his misery lies in his Concupiscence and in the Corruption of his Nature which makes him both unworthy of God and unable to acquire Virtue V. Finally true Religion must shew the necessity of a Mediator between God and Men.
