mark_n that_o you_o may_v set_v up_o and_o establish_v your_o own_o hypocritical_a will-worship_n in_o another_o dark_a dead_a form_n i_o will_v frustrate_v you_o both_o say_v the_o lord_n god_n and_o you_o shall_v grind_v and_o waste_v one_o against_o another_o as_o the_o upper_a and_o nether_a millstone_n and_o i_o will_v pluck_v out_o from_o you_o and_o preserve_v a_o holy_a seed_n beyond_o expectation_n and_o i_o will_v be_v avenge_v on_o you_o for_o that_o which_o you_o have_v already_o bruise_v or_o shall_v yet_o bruise_v mark_v and_o i_o will_v hurry_v and_o hurl_v you_o round_o with_o a_o mighty_a stream_n for_o the_o water_n shall_v roar_v and_o swell_v and_o after_o i_o have_v execute_v my_o vengeance_n upon_o the_o rebellious_a and_o treacherous_a dealer_n i_o will_v then_o bring_v forth_o the_o remnant_n of_o my_o holy_a seed_n which_o shall_v be_v preserve_v from_o their_o fury_n and_o they_o shall_v spread_v over_o all_o in_o my_o life_n power_n knowledge_n and_o wisdom_n wherein_o they_o shall_v stand_v in_o dominion_n yea_o and_o they_o shall_v rule_v the_o earth_n in_o mercy_n justice_n and_o true_a judgement_n and_o they_o shall_v forgive_v and_o love_v their_o enemy_n as_o they_o do_v at_o this_o day_n and_o do_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v just_a and_o good_a unto_o all_o without_o respect_n of_o person_n yea_o they_o shall_v seek_v the_o good_a of_o the_o whole_a creation_n in_o the_o true_a love_n and_o self-denial_n for_o the_o spirit_n of_o love_n meekness_n heal_v and_o restore_a shall_v mighty_o fill_v their_o tender_a bowel_n and_o my_o blessing_n shall_v fill_v their_o dwelling-place_n and_o the_o earth_n for_o their_o sake_n these_o thing_n will_v i_o accomplish_v by_o my_o own_o power_n and_o in_o my_o own_o time_n say_v the_o lord_n god_n but_o although_o these_o thing_n touch_v the_o holy_a remnant_n shall_v certain_o be_v fulfil_v in_o their_o season_n yet_o before_o they_o be_v full_o accomplish_v great_a will_v be_v the_o trial_n of_o many_o of_o the_o righteous_a &_o there_o will_v be_v great_a judgement_n execute_v in_o thou_o o_o land_n by_o he_o who_o ofttimes_o make_v a_o fruitful_a land_n barren_a because_o of_o the_o wickedness_n of_o they_o that_o dwell_v therein_o and_o just_o will_v it_o be_v with_o he_o to_o deal_v so_o with_o thou_o because_o of_o the_o great_a wickedness_n of_o the_o great_a part_n of_o thy_o inhabitant_n who_o be_v depart_v and_o separate_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o mercy_n love_n compassion_n and_o heal_n and_o be_v labour_v to_o devour_v oppress_v and_o destroy_v one_o another_o and_o the_o whole_a creation_n oh_o england_n england_n there_o be_v also_o a_o people_n in_o thou_o who_o be_v come_v to_o see_v the_o great_a idolatry_n and_o superstition_n which_o many_o be_v now_o strive_v to_o revive_v and_o set_v up_o in_o thou_o yea_o there_o be_v a_o people_n in_o thou_o which_o see_v and_o believe_v that_o the_o worship_n which_o be_v now_o a_o set_n up_o with_o the_o vain_a music_n altar_n mass_n in_o english_a and_o the_o foolish_a needless_a garment_n of_o the_o priest_n and_o such_o like_a popist_n stuff_n that_o these_o thing_n be_v idolatry_n folly_n and_o vanity_n and_o but_o a_o mock_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o some_o of_o these_o people_n will_v run_v after_o this_o vain_a worship_n for_o self-end_n flavish-fear_a and_o to_o keep_v themselves_o in_o esteem_n with_o or_o among_o those_o who_o plead_v for_o it_o and_o other_o there_o be_v in_o thou_o who_o instead_o of_o be_v sorrowful_a for_o such_o abomination_n and_o superstition_n or_o reprove_v the_o practiser_n thereof_o in_o the_o solid_a season_v savoury_a life_n and_o holy_a dread_a of_o the_o lord_n god_n they_o write_v and_o speak_v scoss_o of_o those_o thing_n even_o to_o the_o stir_v up_o one_o of_o another_o into_o vain_a laughter_n and_o so_o make_v a_o sport_n of_o other_o idolatry_n and_o this_o grieve_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n also_o and_o do_v not_o convince_v but_o exasperate_v and_o harden_v those_o that_o be_v zealous_a for_o their_o blind_a worship_n and_o superstition_n there_o be_v also_o a_o great_a number_n of_o brittle_a fiery_a rash_a unsatisfied_a people_n in_o thou_o o_o land_n who_o be_v as_o unstable_a as_o water_n and_o these_o rebel_n against_o the_o light_n not_o know_v the_o way_n of_o it_o because_o they_o abide_v not_o in_o the_o path_n thereof_o they_o be_v restless_a roll_a and_o rage_v ofttimes_o like_o the_o sea_n one_o time_n they_o will_v have_v a_o parliament_n and_o cry_v out_o they_o shall_v govern_v and_o heal_v they_o and_o when_o they_o have_v get_v they_o in_o a_o short_a time_n they_o grow_v weary_a of_o they_o and_o then_o another_o time_n they_o will_v cry_v out_o for_o a_o king_n and_o say_v he_o shall_v heal_v they_o and_o make_v up_o their_o breach_n but_o these_o people_n be_v not_o long_o of_o one_o mind_n for_o they_o be_v much_o like_o the_o athenian_n who_o spend_v their_o time_n in_o little_a else_o but_o either_o to_o tell_v or_o to_o hear_v of_o some_o new_a thing·_n these_o people_n also_o be_v like_o mighty_a tide_n in_o thy_o channel_n o_o england_n which_o one_o while_n run_v with_o violence_n drive_v all_o unsettle_a light_a unfixed_a thing_n one_o way_n and_o short_o after_o run_v with_o as_o much_o violence_n the_o contrary_a way_n therefore_o in_o a_o miserable_a condition_n be_v those_o ruler_n who_o strength_n be_v in_o such_o a_o people_n and_o until_o ruler_n come_v to_o be_v settle_v and_o fix_v in_o he_o who_o be_v the_o rock_n of_o age_n and_o single_o to_o rule_v in_o and_o for_o he_o who_o the_o wind_n and_o the_o sea_n obey_v who_o make_v the_o water_n to_o stand_v on_o heap_n and_o divide_v they_o hither_o and_o thither_o and_o alter_v the_o natural_a course_n of_o tide_n as_o he_o please_v as_o he_o have_v do_v thou_o of_o late_a to_o show_v thou_o the_o figure_n of_o the_o people_n they_o can_v never_o be_v safe_a neither_o will_v the_o people_n be_v still_v long_o together_o but_o there_o will_v be_v swell_n raging_n overflowing_n sore_o break_v his_o and_o ruin_n oh_o that_o the_o foregoing_n ruler_n will_v have_v be_v persuade_v to_o have_v receive_v he_o for_o their_o teacher_n who_o rule_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o man_n than_o shall_v they_o not_o only_o have_v see_v what_o the_o lord_n cast_v out_o other_o before_o they_o for_o but_o they_o shall_v have_v be_v teach_v how_o to_o have_v deny_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n be_v angry_a with_o other_o for_o and_o they_o shall_v have_v receive_v power_n to_o have_v abstain_v from_o the_o same_o but_o they_o will_v not_o hear_v and_o obey_v the_o lord_n nor_o his_o prophet_n and_o therefore_o be_v they_o cast_v out_o also_o and_o therefore_o oh_o that_o the_o ruler_n that_o now_o be_v will_v be_v persuade_v whilst_o they_o have_v their_o day_n by_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o servant_n to_o receive_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n to_o be_v their_o king_n and_o teacher_n and_o then_o they_o shall_v not_o only_o see_v for_o what_o cause_n the_o lord_n cast_v they_o out_o and_o other_o in_o their_o age_n but_o they_o shall_v be_v teach_v to_o deny_v and_o forsake_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o god_n be_v angry_a with_o they_o and_o other_o for_o and_o they_o shall_v receive_v power_n to_o do_v those_o thing_n which_o they_o and_o other_o before_o they_o leave_v undo_v but_o alas_o how_o few_o be_v there_o that_o will_v hear_v regard_v and_o obey_v the_o prince_n of_o life_n and_o his_o follower_n and_o therefore_o be_v desolation_n come_v as_o a_o mighty_a flood_n which_o none_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o stop_v now_o all_o people_n in_o what_o sect_n or_o opinion_n soever_o in_o who_o there_o be_v any_o true_a breathe_n and_o desire_n after_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o way_n of_o his_o holiness_n fear_v not_o neither_o be_v dismay_v because_o of_o the_o rage_n that_o you_o may_v yet_o see_v the_o water_n of_o the_o land_n in_o and_o because_o of_o the_o confusion_n and_o cruelty_n of_o the_o people_n but_o stand_v still_o in_o that_o life_n which_o beget_v breathe_n make_v they_o afraid_a though_o body_n and_o estate_n be_v oppress_v and_o abuse_v oh_o stick_v not_o stick_v not_o
motion_n and_o the_o bad_a motion_n which_o you_o will_v see_v stir_v in_o your_o mind_n and_o if_o you_o hold_v fast_o the_o word_n of_o truth_n it_o will_v preserve_v and_o keep_v you_o out_o of_o the_o bad_a thought_n and_o motion_n and_o it_o will_v join_v you_o unto_o the_o good_a and_o you_o will_v come_v to_o feel_v the_o operation_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o life_n and_o power_n of_o god_n in_o you_o to_o shake_v and_o overturn_v and_o work_v out_o that_o ground_n which_o have_v be_v in_o you_o from_o whence_o the_o bad_a word_n and_o bad_a thought_n and_o bad_a motion_n have_v arise_v which_o have_v burden_v the_o oppress_a and_o tender_a seed_n in_o you_o which_o you_o never_o can_v witness_v satisfy_v with_o all_o that_o ever_o you_o have_v perform_v but_o as_o you_o all_o believe_v and_o wait_v in_o this_o unchangeable_a measure_n of_o god_n you_o will_v come_v to_o feel_v the_o burden_n take_v off_o the_o seed_n and_o you_o will_v come_v to_o feel_v and_o witness_v more_o true_a durable_a peace_n and_o satisfaction_n in_o one_o hour_n wait_v upon_o god_n than_o ever_o you_o feel_v and_o witness_v in_o all_o the_o word_n that_o ever_o you_o have_v hear_v from_o any_o man_n or_o woman_n in_o all_o your_o life_n or_o in_o all_o your_o practice_n that_o ever_o you_o have_v practise_v before_o you_o be_v bring_v to_o wait_v upon_o god_n in_o his_o gift_n which_o he_o have_v give_v you_o to_o profit_n withal_o although_o in_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v practise_v i_o know_v you_o have_v have_v a_o great_a joy_n appear_v in_o you_o for_o a_o time_n but_o it_o be_v not_o durable_a nor_o last_v for_o when_o god_n true_a and_o faithful_a witness_n the_o light_n appear_v and_o show_v you_o how_o that_o god_n never_o require_v those_o thing_n at_o your_o hand_n which_o you_o have_v practise_v than_o your_o joy_n and_o peace_n wither_v and_o come_v to_o a_o end_n which_o you_o appear_v sometime_o to_o have_v in_o those_o practice_n and_o if_o at_o any_o time_n you_o come_v to_o feel_v some_o little_a peace_n and_o joy_n and_o refreshment_n through_o what_o god_n open_v to_o the_o seed_n in_o you_o when_o by_o his_o power_n you_o be_v bring_v into_o some_o tenderness_n you_o soon_o lose_v this_o also_o by_o go_v from_o that_o which_o bring_v you_o into_o the_o tenderness_n but_o as_o you_o all_o come_v into_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o abide_v in_o it_o this_o will_v bring_v you_o into_o the_o season_a life_n and_o then_o you_o will_v come_v to_o feel_v and_o witness_v pure_a peace_n and_o joy_n and_o refreshment_n and_o satisfaction_n which_o will_v last_v and_o abide_v for_o ever_o with_o you_o if_o you_o abide_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o than_o you_o will_v be_v make_v willing_a to_o lay_v down_o and_o deny_v all_o that_o which_o you_o have_v be_v act_v which_o you_o never_o be_v lead_v and_o guide_v to_o act_v by_o god_n pure_a holy_a spirit_n and_o to_o deny_v all_o such_o also_o as_o will_v draw_v you_o to_o act_v that_o which_o god_n require_v not_o at_o your_o hand_n so_o take_v heed_n of_o such_o as_o daub_v with_o untempered_a mortar_n and_o heal_v deceitful_o who_o will_v speak_v peace_n when_o there_o be_v no_o true_a peace_n but_o the_o pure_a witness_n of_o god_n condemn_v for_o such_o with_o good_a word_n and_o fair_a speech_n deceive_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o simple_a keep_v they_o ever_o learning_n but_o never_o able_a to_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o these_o through_o covetousness_n and_o feign_a word_n make_v merchandise_n of_o poor_a people_n for_o they_o have_v a_o form_n of_o godliness_n but_o they_o deny_v and_o resist_v the_o power_n and_o therefore_o from_o such_o turn_n away_o and_o all_o mind_n that_o and_o feel_v that_o and_o be_v subject_a unto_o that_o which_o for_o sin_n condemn_v sin_n in_o the_o flesh_n and_o then_o you_o will_v feel_v the_o spirit_n of_o judgement_n and_o burn_v and_o righteousness_n through_o which_o the_o seed_n be_v redeem_v which_o seed_n be_v heir_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n so_o all_o wait_n in_o the_o meek_a lowly_a quiet_a spirit_n that_o you_o may_v come_v to_o witness_v this_o holy_a seed_n which_o delight_v to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n by_o the_o power_n and_o life_n of_o god_n raise_v up_o in_o you_o satisfy_v and_o bring_v forth_o out_o of_o captivity_n and_o look_v not_o out_o nor_o strive_v after_o great_a and_o high_a thing_n beyond_o your_o measure_n for_o that_o puff_v up_o and_o lead_v into_o confusion_n and_o dark_a and_o this_o will_v offend_v god_n but_o stand_v you_o in_o god_n counsel_n and_o discourage_v nothing_o in_o your_o child_n but_o evil_a and_o let_v they_o have_v that_o which_o be_v meet_v just_a and_o reasonable_a and_o no_o more_o that_o none_o of_o god_n creature_n be_v waste_v and_o be_v you_o pattern_n and_o good_a example_n in_o all_o holiness_n gravity_n and_o uprightness_n unto_o they_o and_o let_v they_o have_v sufficient_a liberty_n to_o go_v to_o godly_a meeting_n and_o rather_o stir_v they_o up_o and_o encourage_v they_o to_o go_v to_o such_o than_o hinder_v or_o discourage_v they_o and_o keep_v your_o mind_n out_o of_o they_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o let_v your_o love_n to_o they_o be_v in_o the_o lord_n that_o so_o you_o may_v feel_v his_o blessing_n come_v unto_o and_o own_o and_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o preserve_v and_o cherish_v that_o and_o as_o the_o lord_n shall_v move_v we_o we_o shall_v be_v willing_a to_o show_v the_o governor_n in_o plainness_n what_o be_v wrong_a in_o they_o and_o in_o the_o government_n and_o if_o they_o refuse_v to_o hear_v we_o and_o afflict_v we_o we_o shall_v in_o patience_n yield_v our_o body_n to_o suffer_v under_o that_o which_o be_v bad_a in_o either_o however_o we_o shall_v discountenance_v it_o and_o labour_n through_o the_o power_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o a_o spiritual_a warfare_n to_o destroy_v it_o that_o so_o it_o may_v further_o appear_v that_o we_o be_v not_o against_o magistracy_n but_o for_o it_o it_o be_v god_n ordinance_n and_o that_o we_o be_v only_o against_o that_o in_o few_o teacher_n among_o the_o professor_n who_o i_o believe_v for_o conscience_n sake_n dare_v not_o turn_v back_o and_o lick_v up_o that_o which_o they_o former_o be_v make_v to_o vomit_v out_o and_o
