duty_n not_o so_o as_o to_o neglect_v the_o performance_n of_o they_o but_o so_o as_o not_o to_o rest_v upon_o they_o fly_v away_o from_o in_o regard_n of_o rest_v upon_o any_o duty_n and_o only_o upon_o this_o ground_n because_o say_v he_o god_n do_v draw_v near_o to_o i_o grace_n do_v draw_v near_o to_o i_o mercy_n do_v draw_v near_o to_o i_o before_o ever_o i_o draw_v near_o to_o it_o and_o therefore_o why_o shall_v i_o rest_v upon_o any_o duty_n perform_v it_o i_o will_v but_o through_o grace_n i_o will_v not_o rest_v upon_o it_o by_o way_n of_o application_n 1_o applic._n 1_o let_v we_o i_o pray_v consider_v with_o ourselves_o whether_o god_n have_v deal_v thus_o by_o our_o soul_n or_o no_o have_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n approach_v and_o draw_v near_o unto_o we_o before_o we_o draw_v near_o to_o it_o if_o not_o true_o for_o aught_o that_o i_o know_v we_o be_v yet_o under_o the_o law_n and_o all_o our_o mourning_n and_o walking_n heaven-ward_n they_o be_v but_o legal_a get_v into_o our_o heart_n it_o will_v make_v we_o move_v like_a unto_o christ_n how_o do_v the_o love_n of_o jesus_n christ_n move_v oh_o say_v christ_n father_n forgive_v they_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v 23.34_o luke_n 23.34_o christ_n do_v not_o stay_v for_o acknowledgement_n a_o poor_a and_o a_o low_a thing_n for_o a_o christian_a enough_o for_o a_o heathen_a to_o say_v so_o i_o will_v forgive_v such_o a_o man_n for_o wrong_v do_v to_o i_o upon_o his_o acknowledgement_n let_v our_o love_n be_v like_a unto_o christ_n and_o labour_n to_o prevent_v other_o with_o our_o love_n as_o jesus_n christ_n have_v prevent_v we_o three_o then_o let_v all_o man_n waith_n upon_o other_o duty_n 3_o duty_n with_o all_o longsuffor_n and_o patience_n for_o their_o conversion_n and_o the_o revelation_n of_o truth_n unto_o they_o thou_o be_v a_o parent_n and_o desire_v thy_o child_n may_v be_v convert_v and_o have_v take_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o pain_n with_o he_o for_o his_o conversion_n and_o yet_o it_o will_v not_o be_v thou_o be_v a_o governor_n of_o a_o family_n and_o will_v fain_o have_v such_o a_o servant_n convert_v to_o christ_n and_o have_v take_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o pain_n and_o yet_o it_o will_v be_v a_o friend_n you_o have_v and_o you_o will_v fain_o that_o he_o know_v such_o a_o truth_n and_o much_o pain_n you_o have_v take_v to_o beat_v such_o a_o truth_n into_o he_o and_o he_o do_v take_v it_o and_o you_o be_v ready_a to_o be_v angry_a but_o remember_v this_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n draw_v near_o to_o we_o before_o we_o draw_v near_o to_o it_o grace_n must_v come_v to_o thy_o child_n soul_n first_o before_o it_o do_v come_v to_o christ_n mercy_n must_v come_v to_o the_o soul_n and_o the_o lord_n must_v come_v and_o bring_v truth_n trust_v in_o the_o lord_n for_o ever_o do_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n approach_n and_o draw_v near_o to_o we_o before_o we_o draw_v near_o unto_o it_o then_o say_v within_o your_o soul_n doubt_v shall_v be_v no_o more_o some_o there_o be_v that_o doubt_v of_o their_o salvation_n because_o of_o the_o lgnorance_n that_o be_v in_o they_o darkness_n cause_v fear_v they_o do_v know_v the_o merciful_a disposition_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o so_o they_o doubt_v of_o his_o love_n the_o devil_n as_o he_o labour_v to_o change_v himself_o into_o a_o angel_n of_o light_n so_o he_o labour_v to_o change_v christ_n into_o a_o angel_n of_o darkness_n but_o belove_v you_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o merciful_a sweet_a disposition_n of_o jesus_n christ_n he_o be_v willing_a to_o save_v sinner_n and_o the_o great_a sinner_n bring_v near_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n to_o we_o before_o we_o draw_v near_o to_o it_o oh_o will_v thou_o doubt_v again_o poor_a christian_n will_v thou_o doubt_v again_o some_o there_o be_v that_o doubt_v of_o their_o salvation_n because_o they_o be_v afraid_a their_o duty_n shall_v not_o be_v accept_v prayer_n shall_v not_o be_v accept_v oh_o if_o i_o can_v but_o be_v persuade_v say_v one_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v hear_v my_o prayer_n and_o accept_v of_o my_o duty_n than_o i_o shall_v know_v indeed_o i_o shall_v be_v save_v but_o i_o be_o afraid_a the_o lord_n do_v not_o hear_v my_o prayer_n and_o accept_v of_o my_o duty_n and_o therefore_o i_o fear_v i_o shall_v not_o be_v save_v man_n or_o woman_n where_o ever_o thou_o stand_v or_o art_n will_v say_v doubt_v shall_v be_v no_o more_o some_o there_o be_v that_o doubt_v of_o their_o salveation_n because_o they_o can_v pray_v their_o heart_n be_v dead_a pray_v i_o can_v and_o hear_v i_o can_v and_o read_v i_o can_v perform_v duty_n i_o can_v and_o therefore_o i_o have_v cause_n to_o fear_v i_o shall_v never_o come_v to_o heaven_n well_o but_o though_o you_o can_v man_n or_o woman_n christian_n pray_v as_o thou_o be_v able_a and_o hear_v as_o thou_o be_v able_a and_o read_v as_o thou_o be_v able_a the_o lord_n christ_n be_v of_o this_o sweet_a disposition_n that_o he_o do_v cause_n the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n to_o draw_v near_o to_o we_o before_o we_o draw_v near_o to_o it_o oh_o therefore_o you_o that_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o the_o lord_n trust_v in_o the_o lord_n john_n the_o baptist_n and_o if_o you_o look_v into_o the_o 1._o chap._n of_o luke_n you_o will_v find_v that_o john_n ministry_n be_v not_o a_o legal_a ministry_n but_o a_o gospel-ministry_n the_o 76_o and_o the_o 77._o verse_n thou_o child_n shall_v be_v call_v the_o prophet_n of_o the_o high_a for_o thou_o shall_v go_v before_o the_o face_n of_o the_o lord_n to_o prepare_v his_o way_n to_o give_v knowledge_n of_o salvation_n unto_o his_o people_n by_o the_o remission_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o if_o you_o look_v into_o the_o follow_a verse_n to_o the_o text_n you_o shall_v find_v the_o interpretation_n of_o this_o repentance_n repent_v you_o for_o this_o be_v he_o that_o be_v speak_v of_o by_o the_o prophet_n esaias_n say_v the_o voice_n of_o one_o cry_v in_o the_o wilderness_n but_o a_o evangelical_n repentance_n but_o what_o be_v it_o then_o what_o be_v here_o mean_v by_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v at_o hand_n or_o approach_v in_o the_o language_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v sometime_o put_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n sometime_o it_o be_v put_v for_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n under_o the_o new_a testament_n sometime_o it_o be_v put_v for_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n sometime_o for_o the_o whole_a kingdom_n of_o grace_n i_o take_v it_o here_o for_o the_o whole_a state_n of_o the_o messiah_n the_o kingdom_n of_o grace_n the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o dispensation_n thereof_o and_o he_o say_v here_o that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n have_v approach_v therefore_o do_v you_o turn_v therefore_o do_v you_o repent_v there_o be_v these_o two_o note_n that_o lie_v before_o you_o first_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n do_v preach_v repentance_n upon_o the_o same_o motive_n verse_n the_o 17._o from_o that_o time_n jesus_n begin_v to_o preach_v and_o say_v repent_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v at_o hand_n the_o same_o word_n and_o if_o you_o look_v into_o the_o 10._o chapter_n of_o matthew_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o when_o he_o send_v out_o his_o apostle_n for_o to_o preach_v he_o put_v the_o like_a word_n into_o their_o mouth_n also_o at_o the_o 7._o verse_n and_o as_o you_o go_v preach_v say_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n be_v at_o hand_n there_o the_o word_n repent_v be_v not_o you_o will_v say_v but_o if_o you_o look_v into_o the_o 6._o of_o mark_n and_o the_o 12._o verse_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o it_o be_v say_v there_o then_o they_o go_v out_o and_o preach_v that_o man_n shall_v
