in_o this_o cry_n &_o complaint_n of_o our_o saviour_n be_v discover_v the_o dregs_n of_o the_o cup_n of_o the_o fierce_a indignation_n of_o the_o lord_n now_o before_o i_o come_v to_o the_o 〈◊〉_d and_o proper_a sense_n of_o the_o word_n consider_v thus_o much_o there_o be_v two_o interpretation_n of_o it_o first_o there_o be_v one_o of_o the_o jesuit_n which_o we_o must_v confute_v and_o remove_v second_o there_o be_v another_o interpretation_n of_o sound_a divine_n which_o we_o must_v receive_v and_o yield_v unto_o for_o the_o first_o bellarmine_n and_o other_o make_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n to_o be_v this_o that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n here_o complain_v that_o he_o be_v leave_v to_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o that_o god_n the_o father_n will_v not_o deliver_v he_o from_o that_o temporal_a death_n which_o they_o will_v put_v he_o to_o therefore_o say_v they_o our_o saviour_n in_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o death_n natural_a cry_v out_o that_o god_n have_v leave_v he_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o those_o ungodly_a man_n therefore_o they_o say_v the_o word_n run_v thus_o my_o god_n my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o thus_o forsake_v i_o and_o lose_v i_o thus_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o pilate_n and_o herod_n and_o the_o jew_n to_o crucify_v i_o it_o be_v a_o sinew_n less_o and_o a_o weak_a imagination_n that_o i_o may_v speak_v no_o worse_o of_o it_o sometime_o the_o misery_n and_o death_n of_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n argue_v a_o forsake_v of_o god_n for_o i_o say_v that_o though_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v sometime_o deliver_v up_o to_o death_n by_o the_o wise_a providence_n of_o god_n yet_o they_o be_v not_o say_v to_o be_v forsake_v of_o god_n 2_o cor._n 4.9_o we_o be_v persecute_v but_o not_o forsake_v cast_v down_o but_o we_o perish_v not_o you_o know_v what_o the_o ordinary_a promise_n be_v in_o this_o kind_n i_o will_v be_v with_o thou_o in_o six_o trouble_n 〈◊〉_d the_o seven_o i_o will_v deliver_v thou_o mark_v this_o but_o in_o the_o lord_n their_o god_n now_o this_o forsake_v can_v nor_o do_v not_o befall_v our_o saviour_n in_o common_a sense_n because_o he_o pray_v for_o assistance_n and_o whatsoever_o he_o pray_v for_o he_o have_v as_o hebrew_n 5.7_o he_o be_v hear_v in_o that_o which_o he_o fear_v and_o so_o consequent_o assist_v nay_o he_o be_v confident_a of_o the_o issue_n of_o it_o luke_n 23.42.43_o when_o the_o good_a thief_n upon_o the_o cross_n say_v lord_n remember_v i_o when_o thou_o come_v into_o thy_o kingdom_n the_o lord_n answer_v he_o this_o way_n shall_v thou_o be_v with_o put_v not_o a_o servant_n 〈◊〉_d of_o door_n here_o i_o demand_v of_o any_o man_n but_o especial_o of_o the_o jesuit_n whether_o of_o these_o two_o they_o will_v grant_v god_n do_v not_o forsake_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n the_o first_o way_n therefore_o he_o must_v do_v it_o this_o way_n or_o none_o at_o all_o and_o if_o any_o man_n grant_v this_o than_o he_o grant_v the_o cause_n for_o
