plain_a evident_a and_o copious_a that_o god_n do_v not_o allow_v of_o the_o government_n by_o king_n but_o do_v express_o disapprove_v of_o that_o form_n of_o government_n by_o king_n and_o to_o this_o we_o may_v add_v the_o experience_n of_o the_o fruit_n of_o king_n to_o this_o very_a day_n object_n some_o do_v use_v this_o argument_n to_o strengthen_v the_o continuance_n of_o king_n namely_o that_o god_n do_v foretell_v that_o king_n shall_v be_v and_o some_o king_n god_n do_v himself_o appoint_v ans_fw-fr god_n do_v foretell_v that_o israel_n will_v kick_v with_o their_o foot_n and_o slight_a his_o commandment_n god_n do_v foretell_v that_o the_o people_n will_v reap_v bitter_a fruit_n from_o king_n this_o do_v not_o show_v that_o god_n do_v allow_v or_o approve_v either_o walk_v by_o the_o plain_a by_o ●he_n most_o evident_a way_n that_o god_n have_v prescribe_v 3._o god_n say_v express_o with_o many_o threaten_n and_o many_o time_n that_o we_o shall_v neither_o add_v nor_o diminish_v from_o his_o institution_n now_o this_o be_v evident_a that_o god_n choose_v immediate_o either_o by_o voice_n by_o prophet_n or_o by_o lot_n be_v god_n own_o appointment_n it_o be_v without_o denial_n or_o question_n and_o god_n foresee_v that_o the_o people_n will_v corrupt_v their_o way_n and_o break_v his_o institution_n by_o desire_v to_o be_v govern_v by_o king_n yet_o god_n be_v so_o jealous_a of_o his_o honour_n and_o tender_a of_o the_o people_n good_a in_o the_o choice_n of_o the_o chief_a governor_n that_o he_o say_v express_o deut._n 17._o thou_o shall_v make_v he_o king_n who_o the_o lord_n thy_o god_n shall_v choose_v therefore_o consider_v that_o we_o may_v neither_o add_v nor_o diminish_v it_o be_v without_o comparison_n much_o safe_a to_o choose_v by_o god_n
