that_o these_o three_o first_o petition_n of_o this_o prayer_n by_o consent_n of_o most_o interpreter_n be_v to_o be_v refer_v whole_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o concern_v god_n only_o from_o whence_o it_o be_v conclude_v that_o we_o pray_v not_o here_o for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o grace_n by_o which_o god_n rule_v in_o his_o church_n at_o large_a and_o particular_o in_o the_o soul_n and_o conscience_n of_o the_o faithful_a for_o to_o pray_v so_o be_v to_o pray_v for_o ourselves_o and_o the_o same_o be_v allege_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n which_o god_n give_v to_o his_o choose_a for_o they_o say_v to_o pray_v for_o the_o come_n of_o that_o be_v also_o to_o pray_v for_o ourselves_o and_o for_o our_o own_o future_a glory_n and_o for_o the_o first_o which_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n power_n by_o which_o he_o rule_v the_o world_n which_o he_o have_v make_v that_o be_v think_v not_o to_o be_v here_o mean_v because_o that_o kingdom_n have_v ever_o be_v come_v since_o god_n begin_v the_o world_n begin_v in_o the_o creation_n and_o proceed_v in_o the_o conversation_n and_o gubernation_n thereof_o therefore_o it_o be_v conclude_v that_o no_o other_o kingdom_n here_o be_v pray_v for_o but_o the_o last_o of_o god_n full_a glory_n when_o christ_n shall_v have_v subdue_v all_o his_o enemy_n under_o his_o foot_n and_o shall_v then_o himself_o be_v subject_a to_o he_o when_o god_n shall_v be_v all_o in_o all_o to_o which_o objection_n my_o answer_n be_v that_o the_o ground_n of_o this_o dispute_n be_v false_a and_o fallacious_a that_o only_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n be_v desire_v in_o the_o three_o first_o petition_n without_o respect_n have_v at_o all_o to_o ourselves_o for_o in_o the_o first_o petition_n when_o we_o desire_v of_o god_n the_o hallow_n of_o his_o name_n do_v we_o not_o desire_v that_o it_o may_v be_v hallow_v by_o we_o and_o therein_o we_o do_v as_o well_o beg_v our_o own_o sanctification_n to_o that_o holy_a service_n as_o the_o special_a honour_n of_o god_n name_n for_o as_o i_o have_v show_v the_o name_n of_o god_n will_v be_v glorify_v in_o despite_n of_o all_o opposer_n but_o it_o be_v sanctify_v only_o by_o such_o as_o be_v holy_a so_o in_o this_o second_o petition_n we_o exclude_v not_o ourselves_o though_o we_o seek_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n we_o do_v withal_o seek_v our_o own_o glory_n in_o it_o therefore_o i_o be_o not_o carry_v with_o the_o strong_a stream_n of_o our_o late_a writer_n though_o of_o reverend_a memory_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n to_o shrink_v up_o this_o petition_n to_o any_o one_o of_o these_o above_o mention_v kingdom_n but_o i_o shall_v ever_o in_o my_o devotion_n comprehend_v they_o all_o 1_o we_o desire_v the_o come_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n power_n in_o the_o general_a government_n of_o the_o world_n for_o though_o that_o kingdom_n be_v come_v already_o in_o part_n yet_o it_o may_v be_v more_o declare_v to_o the_o world_n than_o yet_o it_o be_v and_o it_o must_v be_v exercise_v with_o the_o continuation_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o more_o and_o more_o and_o that_o we_o pray_v for_o for_o how_o many_o nation_n and_o language_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o be_v there_o who_o though_o they_o do_v confess_v some_o deity_n who_o they_o pretend_v to_o serve_v yet_o they_o be_v not_o come_v to_o this_o knowledge_n to_o believe_v and_o confess_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v king_n the_o come_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n power_n to_o these_o may_v declare_v he_o king_n of_o king_n and_o lord_n of_o lord_n though_o the_o devil_n can_v not_o catch_v the_o son_n of_o god_n in_o this_o net_n he_o have_v prevail_v with_o many_o to_o make_v they_o believe_v that_o he_o be_v the_o supreme_a monarch_n of_o this_o world_n and_o that_o all_o the_o kingdom_n which_o he_o claim_v a_o monarchical_a supremacy_n over_o the_o kingdom_n of_o all_o the_o world_n have_v seek_v to_o he_o for_o such_o high_a preferment_n for_o the_o pope_n stand_v as_o stiff_o of_o thing_n temporal_a partly_o by_o persecute_v of_o we_o with_o many_o affliction_n and_o vexation_n of_o life_n our_o own_o body_n of_o sin_n be_v like_o tinder_n ready_a to_o take_v fire_n from_o the_o least_o spark_n of_o carnal_a suggestion_n all_o these_o lay_v themselves_o in_o our_o way_n to_o hinder_v our_o passage_n to_o this_o heavenly_a kingdom_n against_o which_o we_o pray_v
