no_o finite_a thing_n can_v be_v from_o itself_o and_o therefore_o that_o the_o world_n can_v not_o be_v of_o itself_o but_o we_o can_v understand_v it_o by_o say_v in_o another_o manner_n than_o by_o reason_n so_o whatsoever_o we_o understand_v of_o god_n in_o way_n of_o providence_n yet_o when_o christ_n do_v take_v we_o into_o his_o school_n we_o come_v to_o understand_v it_o by_o faith_n in_o a_o better_a manner_n than_o we_o do_v by_o reason_n 2._o the_o efficacy_n that_o there_o be_v in_o providence_n that_o be_v that_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n go_v on_o in_o all_o thing_n with_o strength_n and_o power_n and_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v alter_v by_o our_o power_n let_v we_o be_v discontent_v and_o vex_v and_o trouble_v and_o fret_v and_o rage_n yet_o we_o must_v not_o think_v reveal_v in_o his_o word_n and_o we_o may_v there_o find_v he_o have_v set_v it_o down_o to_o be_v his_o ordinary_a way_n even_o from_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o world_n to_o this_o day_n but_o more_o especial_o in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o his_o people_n here_o shall_v be_v in_o a_o afflict_a condition_n now_o man_n that_o do_v not_o understand_v this_o they_o stand_v and_o wonder_n to_o hear_v of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o they_o be_v afflict_v and_o the_o enemy_n prosper_v in_o their_o way_n for_o those_o that_o seek_v god_n in_o his_o way_n and_o seek_v for_o sin_n so_o on_o the_o other_o side_n when_o we_o have_v receive_v such_o mercy_n in_o public_a we_o shall_v have_v all_o our_o private_a affliction_n swallow_v up_o in_o the_o public_a mercy_n and_o we_o shall_v think_v with_o ourselves_o though_o we_o be_v afflict_v for_o our_o particular_a yet_o bless_a be_v god_n it_o go_v well_o with_o the_o church_n and_o with_o the_o public_a the_o consideration_n of_o that_o shall_v mighty_o quiet_v our_o heart_n in_o all_o our_o private_a discontent_n and_o if_o it_o do_v not_o so_o know_v that_o our_o sin_n be_v much_o increase_v by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n that_o be_v abroad_o now_o shall_v god_n mercy_n aggravate_v our_o sin_n this_o be_v a_o sad_a thing_n this_o be_v to_o turn_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n to_o be_v our_o misery_n do_v goodness_n enough_o there_o to_o cure_v thy_o discontentment_n certain_o they_o be_v not_o such_o mercy_n so_o worthy_a to_o be_v pray_v for_o except_o they_o have_v so_o much_o excellency_n in_o they_o as_o to_o countervail_v some_o private_a affliction_n public_a mercy_n be_v the_o aggravation_n of_o private_a discontent_n also_o of_o public_a discontent_n too_o if_o we_o receive_v so_o many_o public_a mercy_n yet_o if_o every_o thing_n go_v not_o in_o the_o public_a according_a as_o we_o desire_v if_o we_o be_v discontent_a at_o that_o it_o will_v exceed_o aggravate_v our_o sin_n god_n may_v say_v what_o shall_v i_o bestow_v such_o mercy_n upon_o a_o people_n and_o yet_o if_o they_o have_v not_o every_o thing_n they_o will_v have_v they_o will_v be_v discontent_a oh_o its_o exceed_a evil_a so_o in_o particular_a the_o mercy_n that_o concern_v thyself_o thy_o family_n if_o thou_o will_v consider_v thou_o have_v a_o great_a many_o more_o mercy_n than_o thou_o have_v affliction_n i_o dare_v bold_o aver_v it_o concern_v any_o one_o in_o this_o congregation_n suppose_v thy_o affliction_n to_o be_v what_o they_o will_v there_o be_v never_o a_o one_o of_o you_o but_o great_a deal_n of_o power_n in_o it_o you_o find_v affliction_n and_o your_o heart_n be_v trouble_v and_o murmur_n consider_v how_o god_n mercy_n do_v aggravate_v this_o sin_n thus_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o our_o sin_n we_o do_v make_v account_n god_n shall_v accept_v of_o our_o service_n do_v but_o consider_v thus_o if_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o our_o many_o sin_n we_o hope_v that_o god_n mercy_n a_o second_o aggravation_n of_o the_o sin_n of_o murmur_v be_v when_o we_o murmur_v for_o small_a thing_n say_v naaman_n servant_n to_o he_o father_n for_o so_o he_o call_v he_o if_o the_o prophet_n have_v require_v you_o to_o do_v some_o great_a thing_n will_v not_o you_o have_v do_v it_o how_o much_o more_o this_o little_a thing_n so_o i_o say_v if_o the_o lord_n have_v require_v for_o her_o child_n and_o all_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n to_o she_o in_o the_o child_n be_v swallow_v up_o in_o that_o will_v not_o you_o say_v this_o be_v a_o folly_n and_o a_o great_a evil_n in_o a_o woman_n so_o to_o do_v true_o our_o affliction_n if_o we_o weigh_v they_o aright_o they_o be_v but_o such_o kind_n of_o thing_n in_o comparison_n of_o our_o mercy_n rebeckah_n she_o have_v a_o mighty_a desire_n to_o have_v child_n but_o because_o she_o find_v some_o trouble_n in_o her_o body_n when_o she_o be_v with_o child_n say_v she_o why_o be_o i_o thus_o as_o if_o she_o shall_v say_v i_o have_v as_o good_a have_v none_o only_o because_o she_o find_v a_o little_a pain_n and_o trouble_v in_o her_o body_n to_o be_v discontent_n when_o the_o affliction_n be_v small_a and_o little_a that_o increase_v very_o much_o the_o sin_n of_o murmur_a it_o be_v too_o much_o for_o any_o one_o to_o murmur_v upon_o the_o heavy_a cross_n that_o can_v befall_v one_o in_o this_o world_n but_o upon_o some_o small_a thing_n to_o be_v discontent_n and_o murmur_n that_o be_v worse_a i_o have_v read_v of_o one_o that_o when_o he_o lie_v upon_o a_o heap_n of_o damas_n rose_n he_o complain_v they_o to_o be_v discontent_n and_o murmur_n that_o be_v more_o than_o if_o other_o do_v it_o murmur_a and_o discontentedness_n be_v too_o much_o in_o the_o weak_a yet_o we_o can_v bear_v with_o it_o sometime_o in_o child_n and_o woman_n that_o be_v weak_a but_o for_o those_o that_o be_v man_n man_n of_o understanding_n that_o have_v wisdom_n that_o god_n employ_v in_o public_a service_n that_o they_o shall_v be_v discontent_a with_o every_o thing_n this_o be_v a_o exceed_a great_a evil_n for_o man_n in_o their_o family_n to_o who_o god_n have_v give_v part_n and_o wisdom_n when_o thing_n
