nature_n of_o man_n be_v whole_o corrupt_v with_o sin_n and_o be_v good_a for_o nothing_o as_o the_o earth_n be_v fit_a to_o bring_v forth_o nothing_o but_o weed_n except_o it_o be_v dig_v and_o dress_v and_o continual_o labour_v and_o weed_v yet_o one_o weed_n or_o other_o will_v grow_v in_o some_o part_n of_o the_o earth_n by_o nature_n which_o will_v not_o grow_v in_o another_o part_n though_o it_o besowne_v there_o but_o some_o other_o weed_n will_v grow_v there_o that_o be_v as_o ill_o and_o one_o weed_v overgrow_a the_o ground_n be_v able_a to_o make_v it_o unprofitable_a for_o any_o thing_n so_o one_o sin_n will_v rule_v where_o another_o will_v not_o and_o that_o one_o overrun_v thou_o be_v able_a to_o make_v thou_o a_o unprofitable_a member_n of_o the_o church_n therefore_o thou_o must_v labour_v by_o private_a prayer_n to_o overcome_v it_o chap._n 21._o man_n become_v worse_o for_o want_n of_o use_v good_a mean_n moreover_o as_o a_o garden_n if_o it_o be_v twenty_o year_n keep_v with_o dig_v water_v and_o weed_n and_o then_o be_v let_v but_o two_o year_n alone_o it_o will_v become_v unprofitable_a savage_a and_o of_o no_o respect_n even_o so_o if_o thou_o do_v in_o thy_o youth_n or_o many_o year_n use_v private_a prayer_n and_o hear_v of_o the_o word_n preach_v and_o public_a prayer_n and_o fast_v &_o all_o good_a mean_n to_o keep_v thy_o earthly_a body_n in_o subjection_n yet_o if_o thou_o becom_a negligent_a and_o careless_a but_o a_o while_n it_o will_v soon_o become_v savage_a and_o wild_a and_o consequent_o a_o unprofitable_a member_n of_o christ_n his_o church_n or_o rather_o manifest_v thyself_o to_o be_v no_o member_n as_o the_o earth_n will_v be_v no_o garden_n and_o therefore_o you_o must_v have_v a_o continual_a care_n of_o yourselves_o it_o be_v not_o for_o a_o small_a matter_n that_o you_o must_v have_v this_o care_n but_o for_o a_o great_a &_o a_o most_o glorious_a kingdom_n which_o last_v for_o ever_o where_o thou_o shall_v enjoy_v the_o sweet_a and_o love_a presence_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o be_v a_o a_o member_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n for_o ever_o world_n without_o end_n then_o neither_o satan_n nor_o the_o world_n nor_o thy_o own_o flesh_n shall_v be_v able_a one_o minute_n to_o trouble_v thou_o if_o through_o faith_n in_o christ_n by_o continual_a prayer_n thou_o once_o get_v thither_o neither_o be_v it_o to_o shun_v a_o little_a danger_n that_o you_o must_v be_v thus_o watchful_a and_o wary_a of_o yourselves_o as_o be_v drown_v in_o the_o red_a sea_n which_o be_v a_o figure_n of_o hell_n but_o it_o be_v to_o avoid_v burn_v in_o hell_n torment_n for_o ever_o and_o ever_o and_o be_v join_v to_o the_o devil_n and_o all_o his_o wicked_a spirit_n for_o ever_o there_o to_o be_v torment_v and_o never_o have_v rest_n and_o this_o will_v be_v more_o than_o a_o thousand_o million_o of_o pain_n to_o those_o that_o shall_v enter_v into_o these_o torment_n to_o think_v that_o god_n have_v offer_v so_o merciful_a a_o mean_n as_o to_o send_v his_o own_o son_n to_o endure_v those_o pain_n for_o they_o that_o they_o may_v never_o have_v feel_v they_o and_o send_v they_o his_o word_n and_o will_v they_o to_o follow_v that_o and_o that_o shall_v teach_v they_o to_o follow_v christ_n and_o christ_n shall_v bring_v they_o to_o heaven_n and_o if_o that_o the_o devil_n the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n do_v lay_v block_n in_o their_o way_n more_o than_o they_o can_v remove_v that_o then_o they_o shall_v call_v upon_o he_o &_o he_o shall_v help_v they_o over_o and_o make_v the_o way_n in_o time_n more_o plain_a and_o easy_a for_o they_o and_o yet_o they_o will_v not_o take_v a_o little_a pain_n here_o to_o keep_v they_o from_o endless_a pain_n of_o hel-fire_n oh_o how_o will_v they_o be_v torment_v when_o they_o know_v that_o there_o never_o will_v be_v a_o end_n of_o their_o perpetual_a misery_n what_o will_v they_o not_o give_v nay_o they_o have_v nothing_o to_o give_v for_o the_o world_n have_v deceive_v they_o and_o have_v take_v all_o thing_n from_o they_o but_o what_o pain_n will_v they_o not_o take_v to_o follow_v our_o saviour_n now_o if_o they_o may_v pain_n nay_o they_o will_v think_v it_o a_o great_a pleasure_n and_o wonder_v great_o at_o themselves_o that_o they_o ever_o can_v think_v it_o pain_n when_o indeed_o it_o be_v the_o most_o pleasant_a and_o most_o comfortable_a the_o most_o profitable_a and_o most_o delightful_a yea_o and_o the_o most_o content_v thing_n in_o the_o world_n chap._n 22._o to_o lay_v hold_n on_o christ_n be_v the_o best_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n it_o be_v the_o most_o please_a thing_n because_o it_o bring_v so_o sweet_a contentment_n to_o the_o soul_n mind_n and_o conscience_n of_o man_n that_o nothing_o can_v offend_v it_o it_o be_v the_o most_o comfortable_a thing_n in_o regard_n it_o so_o comfort_v and_o strengthen_v the_o hart_n that_o nothing_o can_v grieve_v it_o it_o be_v most_o profitable_a for_o it_o get_v a_o everlasting_a kingdom_n to_o those_o that_o use_v it_o it_o be_v most_o delightful_a for_o it_o bring_v joy_n to_o the_o whole_a man_n joy_n in_o their_o heart_n though_o they_o laugh_v 48.22_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o quiet_a for_o there_o be_v no_o peace_n to_o the_o ungodly_a and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o they_o seek_v so_o much_o for_o pastime_n and_o sit_v up_o in_o the_o night_n swill_v and_o drink_v until_o they_o feel_v sleep_n call_v they_o to_o bed_n and_o then_o they_o lie_v down_o like_o bruit_n beast_n never_o regard_v the_o mispending_a of_o their_o time_n nor_o call_v for_o grace_n to_o spend_v the_o rest_n of_o their_o day_n better_o and_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o in_o the_o dark_a they_o often_o feel_v discontent_a in_o their_o mind_n because_o they_o do_v follow_v the_o devil_n that_o wicked_a serpent_n which_o will_v torment_v they_o and_o he_o begin_v to_o torment_v here_o and_o yet_o they_o will_v serve_v he_o on_o the_o contrary_a those_o that_o serve_v god_n and_o follow_v christ_n and_o every_o night_n reconcile_v themselves_o unto_o he_o and_o confess_v their_o own_o weakness_n and_o pray_v christ_n their_o saviour_n to_o defend_v they_o that_o night_n and_o evermore_o they_o feel_v much_o comfort_n in_o their_o heart_n for_o christ_n begin_v the_o comfort_n have_v overcome_v sin_n death_n and_o hell_n for_o we_o and_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n to_o prepare_v we_o a_o place_n there_o &_o yet_o he_o leave_v we_o not_o thus_o but_o he_o leave_v his_o will_n matter_n it_o be_v for_o they_o to_o use_v they_o lawful_o that_o it_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n be_v express_v but_o the_o most_o merciful_a and_o mighty_a god_n have_v teach_v man_n what_o to_o do_v
