ever_o we_o hope_v to_o be_v admit_v to_o heaven_n for_o many_o shall_v seek_v to_o enter_v that_o shall_v be_v shut_v out_o now_o what_o this_o seek_n be_v which_o be_v here_o oppose_v to_o strive_v to_o enter_v in_o at_o the_o strait_a gate_n our_o saviour_n declare_v after_o the_o text_n v._o 25._o when_o once_o the_o master_n of_o the_o house_n be_v rise_v up_o and_o have_v shut_v to_o the_o do_v all_o other_o in_o religion_n and_o be_v the_o only_a member_n of_o the_o true_a church_n and_o the_o child_n and_o heir_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o shall_v see_v other_o who_o they_o think_v to_o be_v out_o of_o the_o pale_a of_o the_o true_a church_n and_o exclude_v from_o all_o term_n of_o salvation_n come_v from_o all_o quarter_n and_o find_v free_a admission_n into_o heaven_n and_o shall_v find_v themselves_o so_o gross_o and_o wide_o mistake_v that_o those_o very_a person_n who_o they_o think_v to_o be_v last_o and_o of_o all_o other_o far_a from_o salvation_n shall_v be_v first_o and_o they_o themselves_o who_o they_o take_v for_o the_o child_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v admit_v into_o heaven_n in_o the_o first_o place_n shall_v be_v reject_v and_o cast_v out_o so_o that_o by_o seek_v to_o enter_v we_o may_v understand_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o mâ—n_z may_v do_v in_o religion_n upon_o which_o they_o shall_v pretend_v to_o lay_v claim_n to_o heaven_n nay_o and_o confident_o hope_v to_o obtain_v it_o and_o yet_o shall_v be_v shameful_o disappoint_v and_o fall_v short_a of_o it_o whatever_o man_n think_v and_o believe_v and_o do_v in_o religion_n what_o privilege_n soever_o man_n pretend_v what_o way_n and_o mean_n soever_o man_n endeavour_v to_o appease_v the_o deity_n and_o to_o recommend_v themselves_o to_o the_o divine_a favour_n and_o acceptance_n all_o this_o be_v but_o seek_v to_o enter_v in_o and_o be_v not_o that_o strive_v which_o our_o saviour_n require_v if_o man_n do_v not_o do_v the_o will_n of_o other_o that_o find_v themselves_o much_o affect_v with_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o doctrine_n contain_v it_o it_o 4_o thly_a other_o be_v very_o strict_a and_o devout_a in_o the_o external_a worship_n of_o god_n 5_o thly_a other_o confide_v much_o in_o their_o be_v member_n of_o the_o only_a true_a church_n in_o which_o alone_a salvation_n be_v to_o be_v have_v and_o in_o the_o manifold_a privilege_n and_o advantage_n which_o therein_o they_o have_v above_o other_o of_o get_v to_o heaven_n 6_o thly_a other_o think_v their_o great_a zeal_n for_o god_n and_o his_o true_a religion_n will_v certain_o save_v they_o 7_o thly_a other_o go_v a_o great_a way_n in_o the_o real_a practice_n of_o religion_n 8_o thly_a other_o rely_v much_o upon_o the_o sincerity_n of_o their_o repentance_n and_o conversion_n whereby_o
angel_n tell_v the_o virgin_n mary_n that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n shall_v come_v upon_o she_o and_o the_o power_n of_o the_o high_a shall_v overshadow_v she_o and_o therefore_o that_o holy_a thing_n which_o shall_v be_v bear_v of_o she_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o this_o our_o saviour_n mean_v by_o the_o father_n sanctify_a he_o and_o send_v he_o into_o the_o world_n for_o upon_o our_o mind_n we_o be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n as_o be_v regenerate_v and_o bear_v again_o by_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o god_n and_o this_o be_v our_o first_o adoption_n and_o for_o this_o reason_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n confer_v upon_o christian_n at_o their_o baptism_n and_o dwell_v and_o reside_v in_o they_o afterward_o be_v call_v the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n eternal_a life_n by_o the_o mighty_a power_n of_o god_n spirit_n this_o be_v our_o final_a adoption_n and_o the_o consummation_n of_o it_o and_o therefore_o rom._n 8.21_o this_o be_v call_v the_o this_o reason_n they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n because_o they_o be_v raise_v by_o he_o to_o a_o new_a life_n and_o to_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o that_o which_o be_v promise_v to_o they_o and_o reserve_v for_o they_o for_o all_o that_o be_v raise_v by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n out_o of_o the_o dust_n of_o the_o earth_n be_v not_o therefore_o the_o child_n of_o god_n but_o
